17/05/2024: I completely disagree with the opinion given by someone I don't want to remember. I am a customer. The service is impeccable, the toilets are always clean, there is soap! Prices correspond to those charged on terraces everywhere. Plus, the food is excellent! So if the establishment closes, I would be on the verge of 😢 I gave 5 stars but that's not what it said on my review!

18/09/2024: Accueil souriant, chaleureux, service attentionné, prévenant, à l'écoute du client, le tout dans une excellente ambiance décontracté, avec le beau temps repas dans le très agréable jardin. Dans l'assiette une excellente cuisine maison de saison, avec des produits frais et de qualités, cuissons parfaites, cuisine goûteuse, association des gouts est tout simplement sublime et régal divinement les papilles, bravo l' artiste, un très agréable repas gustatif (avis unanime des convives), jamais déçu, je recommande vivement.

We get straight to the point: the quality of the products and a nice dose of hearty indulgence. 22/07/2024: Dishes well prepared but without originality, no specialties on the menu at €18.50. Apart from this, the service is impeccable, no waiting and the staff are smiling and efficient. Beautiful terrace to discover. Large parking lot in front of the restaurant.

19/07/2024: Personnel très agréable et souriant, nous avons pris le menu Formule midi à 18,50€ mais pas de boisson comprise et, des plats corrects sans plus, certes bien préparés mais ordinaires. Pas de spécialités portugaises dans le menu et c'est dommage. Terrasse très agréable et calme quand il n'y a pas de réservation d'une vingtaine de personnes, car le brouhaha devient vite désagréable; on a qu'une envie c'est de partir.

22/09/2024: This is the second time we have tried this restaurant. We were disappointed with the value for money the first time. Seeing the rather glowing reviews, we tried again to celebrate our mother's birthday. What a disappointment! We paid €76 per person, aperitif, starter, main course, dessert and wine. At this price we expected to be surprised and happy. The €56 menu at this restaurant is really too expensive for the quality and quantity served. Lamb overcooked to my mother's liking, a small piece of free-range pork without meat, just fat for my brother. We had to ask to change it, and my monkfish, my piece was not very big. Concerning the starters, chanterelles and squid it was not spicy enough. The desserts, the pistachio soufflé was excellent, on the other hand for the profiteroles, only 2 unfortunate little choux buns with a choux pastry that was too dry, as if it was not of the day. The dishes and presentations were rather simple. Conclusion, only the exterior setting was pretty and the service correct although a little cold. For a menu at €56 we expect much better. We paid a lot of money and the meal was not up to par. We will definitely not return there again and we do not recommend. We can easily find better for less. Besides, for this price we ate in a 1-star restaurant in Mers les Bains. It was magical, a real journey for our taste buds and pure visuals.

21/09/2024: Overall disappointed. The setting is magnificent, the service is quality but the cuisine lacks seasonings, there are few on the plate and for a menu at 55 euros, we expect better in quality and proportion. I have eaten much better elsewhere for 30-35 euros per menu, which is what the menu at Coeur de la Forêt is worth, no more. The setting does not justify the price-quality imbalance of this restaurant.

05/07/2024: Great evening with friends! The platters are good and generous, the dishes are particularly good and the brioche offered for dessert is delicious. The owner/waiter is very pleasant and gives good advice, the atmosphere is very nice!

14/07/2024: Very pleasant restaurant and excellent cuisine, the service is impeccable and fast. We were able to have lunch outside before a very friendly and enjoyable introduction to golf. I recommend this place.

05/07/2024: Lunch with friends in a very pleasant atmosphere, waiter and waitress at the top, we had main course and desert which was really delicious and with fresh ingredients. We will come back with pleasure

09/12/2024: In the attic of the Ravoux inn, we first discover with emotion the last resting place of the painter Vincent Van Gogh, an attic room, preserved in its original state, then the neighboring room with its period furniture , before ending with the screening of a film (15-minute documentary). Guided tour only. Nice shop. A must-see place in Auvers sur Oise. Please note: this is not a museum. People come there for the atmosphere that reigns there... to better understand the last days of the painter.

25/11/2024: This is a very special tour, whether you are a fan of Van Gogh, or not. The tour is short but very impactful insofar that you are in the room where one of the world’s most renowned artists spent the days weeks of his life. The tour guide was superb. If you are in the environs of Auvers Sur Oise, not to be missed.

I still came back last weekend and the finito, fries not homemade, steak from the FROZEN burger even though I was told it was homemade…

31/10/2024: Always at the top despite the change of team, refined cuisine, good wine list, a good address for a working lunch or a small romantic meal, not to be missed...

14/07/2024: It is a tiny restaurant close to the CDG airport only open at lunch time. Careful French cuisine offers both a la carte and a magnificent daily menu. The menu has a starter for 12 €, a main course for 18 € and a home made dessert for 9 €. Both options are extraordinary. They have two cookers and although they work with the same restaurant menu they know how to give a little different to every dish. The waitress speaks fluent English and she has been really very kind. I am sure that I will come back when I will be in the area on business.

15/08/2024: In an exceptional setting, three people had lunch on August 15. Despite a late schedule, where it is generally not possible to have lunch, we were able to enjoy an excellent meal, very well prepared and service to match. A place we frequent to escape the noise and hustle and bustle of the surrounding towns.
