24/05/2026: Leaving aside the hotel, which I'm not judging, the surrounding area has become a disaster and has deteriorated significantly lately. Despite its magnificent setting, it now seems to be a gathering place for thugs as soon as the weather gets warmer, where inappropriate behavior is observed. Barbecues, very loud music, swimming despite clearly marked prohibitions, as well as constant shouting and yelling, severely disturb the tranquility of the place. Added to this is the presence of a lot of litter left on the ground. This place used to be particularly peaceful. You could settle down here quietly to read, take a family walk, or simply chat. Peace and respect prevailed, and anglers could calmly enjoy the banks of the Epte River. Today, this serenity has unfortunately disappeared, to the detriment of the site's quality and respect for the environment. It's regrettable.

20/05/2026: My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at the Moulin de Fourges. The welcome at reception was perfect, and the place and the room were beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. We enjoyed the jacuzzi with its view overlooking the Epte River. In the evening, we dined there and appreciated the warm welcome from the staff and the quality of the food—it was delicious!

A wonderful discovery that makes you feel like you're in the mountains for an evening. 🗻❄️ You'll truly find authentic flavors and quality products typical of the Alpine regions. The cheese and charcuterie are excellent, and dishes like the tartiflette are perfectly executed: flavorful and wonderfully creamy. 🧀 Whether you're dining as a couple or in a group, it's quite easy to find a table. However, be sure to book in advance, as the restaurant is small. Located by the water, it has a small parking lot accessible at the end of a narrow driveway.

The sauces were still just warm, perfectly complementing the crunch and meltiness of the little cheese bites. Furthermore, a well-deserved rating. 04/05/2026: I did not enjoy my experience at all with flies on my food. The waiter Mathieu replied by take off without changing the sauce. It was very slow service and surprisingly different kind of ambiance. The food was not so good. It taste like it was taking out from the freezer and heat up to be ready to eat it up. I will not come back soon or again. I used to be a big fan of it.

The dining room is lively, the service is warm and welcoming, and the dishes are generous and perfectly cooked. The quality of the ingredients is undeniable, and their preparation is exquisite. The wines are also excellent! Enjoy your meal.

31/05/2026: The service was a little slow, but that was mentioned upon arrival. Understandable on Mother's Day. The food was lovely, and the servers were very pleasant and smiling. A delightful and delicious family celebration in the garden. Pure bliss.

30/05/2026: The pastries are as beautiful as they are delicious! The owners are very responsive, kind, and highly professional… We had ordered a tiered cake for a Sunday, oops, our mistake, it was for Saturday. Luckily for us, being farmers, the owner got everyone involved to save the day by preparing it for us in just 3 hours. Thank you so much!

01/05/2026: A very good experience at La Rivière restaurant. The welcome is warm, the service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is truly convivial. The dishes are delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality of the food, and the setting is lovely for spending quality time with friends or family. I highly recommend La Rivière; it's a great place to eat well and enjoy a pleasant moment. PS: If you're looking for a DJ, try Saudades; it's the same owner ;)

31/05/2026: A very disappointing all-you-can-eat brunch despite a pleasant setting. We arrived at 1 p.m. and many dishes were already sold out and were not replenished. The selection was therefore very limited for a brunch advertised as "all-you-can-eat." Regarding the service, we had to wait over an hour for our drinks and even a simple carafe of water, which was particularly regrettable. The staff, however, remained friendly, smiling, and welcoming, and the place is charming, convivial, and very pleasant. It's all the more disappointing because, at €110 for two people, we expected a much higher quality experience. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience that we will not repeat.

10/04/2026: The Easter chocolate molds were good, but honestly, far too expensive. The mold is made with a very thin layer of chocolate, really very, very thin, and it cost over 50 euros.

02/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening "in the heart of the forest." The place lives up to its name, and you feel privileged from the very first steps before reaching the restaurant. The welcome and service are attentive and refined, just like the dishes that showcase beautiful seasonal produce. The wine selection is based on long-standing, trusted relationships, and it shows! The value for money is excellent; everything from the ambiance to the cuisine and the service is flawless. We will gladly return soon to enjoy the terrace!
