12/09/2024: It all starts with the difficulty of finding the real entrance, then knowing where to go with our Internet tickets: the displays and indications are almost non-existent and the door to the Ravoux inn is closed!
The gentleman at reception was friendly and also guided her despite the fairly short time between the time we spent with her in the room and the time she collected our purchases.
Difficult to immerse yourself in the place in these conditions...and at this price.
09/09/2024: This visit was really good because of the atmosphere of the place which reflects the simplicity that Van Gogh had so dear to his heart.
It's certainly small but the guide explains lots of things to us about the 70 days that Van Gogh spent in this inn.
Perhaps it would be nice to offer a discount for the restaurant in the period decor on the ground floor.

But a service that needs to be clearly improved and is very uneven...
And you are invited to pay inside...
Vision of apocalypse with trays filled with dirty dishes scattered everywhere...
Obviously on Sunday we are short of staff...

12/08/2024: Je recommande , équipe sympathique, très bon rapport qualité prix . La bavette est superbe . Très bien fréquenté . Le menu est à prix très correct et les plats sont très bon . ( coup de cœur pour le burger )

Kindness and availability to serve us a perfect meal, early and quickly so that we could attend a Cadre Noir gala.
A flawless journey....everything was there...mixture of textures and flavors, perfect cooking, inventiveness, high quality local products, remarkable vegetable processing, perfect food/wine pairings.
I've been cooking a lot for many years, and thank you chef, I had an extraordinary time!
I am waiting to come back in less of a hurry to enjoy your setting which is also exceptional

17/09/2024: It all started so well... The dishes were well presented and good. We left the table satisfied until in the car I had violent stomach aches, nausea, headaches, etc....a real FOOD POISONING. I called the restaurant the next day to warn them (I wanted them to know and do what was necessary to prevent this from happening to others. In my misfortune I was lucky because at our table I was the only one who got sick and I think it was due to my starter: a seafood ravioli)
The waitress I spoke to on the phone showed empathy and promised me that the chef would call me back. A week later I'm still waiting for his call. It would have been good to hear from me, especially since this food poisoning had other consequences on my health. So you will understand that I will never set foot in your home again. For your information, I was with family and there were 4 of us with 2 children. Be honest too. It doesn't do me any good to make this opinion.

18/09/2024: Accueil souriant, chaleureux, service attentionné, prévenant, à l'écoute du client, le tout dans une excellente ambiance décontracté, avec le beau temps repas dans le très agréable jardin. Dans l'assiette une excellente cuisine maison de saison, avec des produits frais et de qualités, cuissons parfaites, cuisine goûteuse, association des gouts est tout simplement sublime et régal divinement les papilles, bravo l' artiste, un très agréable repas gustatif (avis unanime des convives), jamais déçu, je recommande vivement.

We get straight to the point: the quality of the products and a nice dose of hearty indulgence. The chef, emblem of the place, comes to the dining room to meet his customers with great humor and passion. It’s flawless 🙏 thank you both

Restaurant très cosy,
Accueil chaleureux et service sans aucune fausse note!
Nous avons fait 45 minutes de route pour notre plus grand bonheur.
Le plateau était à la hauteur de nos attentes.
Petit zoom sur le saumon fumé par la maison, un chef d’œuvre gustatif.
À très bientôt !

Agreed, it could do with a tidy up but the food is fantastic

27/08/2024: The welcome was friendly as was the service, we ordered a rib of beef for 65 euros... which turned out to be spoiled... even the table neighbors pointed it out to us, the smell was nauseating but apparently that didn't pose a problem...
In terms of decoration, nothing has changed for a long time, not dilapidated but far from modern. A touch of refreshment would be welcome... and a little seriousness in the kitchen too, even if I don't plan to return there again, it would be a minimum.

Good welcome, the server is friendly and dynamic.
I chose a hearty gizzard salad, a very tender steak and a delicious nectarine tart.
The price is reasonable.
I had a good time.

05/07/2024: Je connais bien l'endroit avec un amis nous y allions régulièrement.
L'accueil très moyen alirs qu'on est bons clients.
Depuis près d'1an la qualité moindre et très réduit on dirait in menu enfant.
Le steack et la portion de frites entre 15 et 20 frites une honte, mais surtout le buffet à volonté, on est arrivé à 13h15 et il n'y avait quasiment plus rien ou très peu on a du insister pour avour un peu de charcuterie rt melon.
La patronne nous a dit c'est comme ça il faut arriver à 12h c'est du n'importe quoi le service trop rapide et ça ferme à 14h!!!
On a vu des clients très bien servis après nous le steack plus grand et les frites à volonté pour eur il y a du favoritisme et çà ce n'est pas normal, bref n'y allez pas!
Ce nedt même pas une Cantine amélioré.
On n'ira plus c'est dommage sinon le restaurant et terrasse sont agréables.
En plus le pris est à 17€ une honte, ça vaut pas plys de 10€ et ils répondent sèchement, au Portugal ils se feraient luncher et le restaurant fermerait au bout d'un mois c'est sur.
