09/03/2026: Not recommended!! There's a lot of neglect, from the cleanliness of the dining room, full of cobwebs and dust on the furniture. The €14.50 menu... you can't call it cooking... it's just pre-made food. We regretted stopping there.

30/01/2026: I wanted to get a hot chocolate, I didn't really have any expectations. I was still surprised by the taste because it had no taste at all; it was just hot water. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience at this establishment. What's alarming is seeing so many comments saying the same thing, without anything changing: they're talking about moldy food, food that's been dropped on the floor and then sold. What about hygiene measures? The reason I decided to leave this review today is mainly because of the manager's attitude, which I found disrespectful to her colleagues. Fortunately, they managed to make my visit more pleasant nonetheless. For a chain like Columbus, it's becoming urgent to take measures to prevent this kind of behavior from happening again. It's serious. My response: Thank you very much for your kind and sarcastic reply. This proves your lack of professionalism once again. Regarding your comment about the manager's behavior, I didn't come here to be a mediator for your delicious hot chocolate (or do you dilute the cocoa powder with water? ;) ). It's your responsibility as manager to handle that, not mine. But anyway, I'm not going to explain your job to you :) Thank you again for your excellent response! It's, I believe, the most positive experience I've had with your establishment.

08/02/2026: As someone who regularly visits good restaurants, I can confidently say that this one is among my top three in Châtellerault. But it's by far number one in terms of value for money. A very attractive wine list and a three-course menu at €37.90 mean that a meal for two (including aperitifs and a bottle of wine) comes in at around €100, while other restaurants offering similar fares are about 30 to 40% more expensive. Traditional yet refined cuisine—in short, an excellent bistronomic gem!

18/02/2026: We made a reservation online for a family meal… and upon arrival, we were unceremoniously shown the door (I received a confirmation message, but they had no reservation). The welcome was icy, and the staff was unpleasant. The lack of professionalism is blatant; it's evident even in the decor, which is as shallow as their customer service.

16/02/2026: I do not recommend this place. The welcome was cold, and the chef was unpleasant and haughty. Not being in the habit of complaining, but seeing that we are unfortunately not alone, we are sharing our unfortunate experience. We booked online four days in advance, received a confirmation text message on the day of the reservation, then an email with the Valentine's Day menu. On the day of the reservation, we received another confirmation text message at 3 pm, but upon our arrival at 8 pm, after a two-hour drive, the owner, very cold and unpleasant, refused us entry, claiming that she "did not have a reservation in our name because the chef had not validated it." This chef then contacted us by phone two days later to tell us that we had inconvenienced their service and that it was our fault we had been turned away because we should have replied to his email and ignored the confirmation text messages!

16/03/2026: Sometimes you wonder if anyone even manages the kitchens at this park. Paying almost €200 to eat this "pseudo-food"—to put it mildly—is tasteless, unpresentable, and shows a complete lack of respect for the customer. The staff, jaded and fully aware of what they're serving, are just trying to put on a brave face. It's an experience we strongly advise against. You wonder why more and more people are making their own sandwiches? Well, you quickly understand why.

17/02/2026: This is a great restaurant. We arrived around noon and were seated immediately without any wait. The service was smooth and quick, with minimal waiting. It's a five out of five for value for money. The food is excellent and not very expensive. The staff is friendly and welcoming. A very good restaurant, 5/5.

30/01/2026: L’Imprévu restaurant offers a simple yet well-thought-out, balanced, and delicious menu. The dishes are made with high-quality ingredients. The value for money is truly excellent, which is worth highlighting. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere is friendly; you feel right at home. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will gladly return.

31/01/2026: Three fewer dishes on the menu, the meal served cold, the fish almost raw, even though there were only four of us at the table. The dishes were served at different times: one person finished their meal while another was still waiting. The kitchen staff publicly reprimanded the waitress (in the open kitchen), which was disrespectful to both the employee and the other customers. We definitely won't be going back!

30/12/2025: Hello! The service, food, and friendliness were simply incredible, everything was perfect! We had a wonderful 60th birthday celebration for my mother! La Coupole By la ferme, I say yes and highly recommend it! Thank you again from the whole family! We'll be back to play the piano too, hehe! A special thank you to Cléa and her mother, our hostesses for the day.

15/10/2025: Not being from Châtellerault, I highly recommend this bar/restaurant! The bartender and waitress are incredibly kind, like I've rarely seen before. The welcome is warm and allowed me to really enjoy my work break. If you're passing by, stop by for a truly exceptional mental break. Thank you again for everything.
