19/08/2026: Excellent restaurant; we stopped there on our way to Limoges. The service was efficient, quick, and friendly, and the food was very good. We had a wonderful meal. The portions were quite generous, and I was a little disappointed not to have room for dessert, which looked amazing!

10/06/2026: I came to the area for work and stumbled upon this hotel-restaurant by chance, and frankly, I'm thrilled! The food is excellent, the rooms are fantastic and spotless, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back next year. Thank you for making my stay so easy and pleasant!
10/06/2026: My family and I are occasional customers of this establishment. As with every visit, we are always very satisfied with the quality of the service, the food, and the warm welcome. The staff is always very friendly, and the ingredients are of high quality, all at a very affordable price.

21/09/2026: Slow service just for two pots (mussels marinière). Between arrival and departure (one pot, one dessert, and one coffee per person): total time > one hour.
The restaurant wasn't full.
But there were only two people serving and taking payments, and they were lovely (friendly welcome). A somewhat mixed experience, which I won't repeat.

24/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! Authentic cuisine, affordable prices, impeccable service, and a warm welcome with a smile—it was truly delightful.
Homemade pastries, and the chocolate custard tart was absolutely delicious. A fantastic experience, especially on the lovely little leafy terrace.
29/08/2026: A wonderful discovery on our way back from vacation! We stopped at L’Assiette Gourmande for two pizzas, and they were absolutely delicious and generously sized. 🍕😋
But beyond the food, we particularly appreciated the warm welcome and kindness of the owner, with whom we enjoyed chatting. A truly friendly and welcoming person makes all the difference!
We left with very fond memories of our visit. An address we highly recommend! 😊

24/05/2026: A great place to stay overnight while traveling, accessible only by car, located on the outskirts of town, delicious breakfasts and dinners, clean rooms, daily service, outdoor pool, beautiful view, quiet, peaceful location away from the city center. I recommend it.

10/10/2026: Positive points: For €14.90 per person, the traditional French cuisine was truly good and plentiful. There was a large buffet of appetizers, a hot dish with homemade fries, a cheese and dessert buffet, and ice cream was included. The bread was good quality, and even the sparkling water was unlimited.
Negative point: only one. The delightfully passive-aggressive, and condescending welcome from the management upon our arrival. Having over 15 years of experience in retail, if I had been alone, I would have left. Even when a customer makes a mistake, the business owner should remain courteous.
But I will remember a delicious and truly affordable meal. And the staff is efficient 🙂 So I was right to insist 😉

There's a lot of neglect, from the cleanliness of the dining room, full of cobwebs and dust on the furniture. The €14.50 menu... you can't call it cooking... it's just pre-made food. We regretted stopping there.
