23/07/2026: A good place to eat. Beware of the desserts; they were a real disappointment, and I'm not even mentioning the fact that a small gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated after such a letdown... But the main courses are good and generous.

13/07/2026: We had a lovely time. Excellent meal, service a little too polite at first... then fantastic, as it was taken over by the young guy with the bun! We'll be back.

19/05/2026: Beautiful natural setting, very welcoming staff, the activities are great, with a special mention for the escape game. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to expand the snack bar a bit, both in terms of quality and variety.

24/07/2026: This restaurant offers average-quality dishes that are expensive considering the quality of the ingredients and the cooking. The setting, however, remains pleasant.

13/07/2026: Dinner for a friend's retirement party. - Pleasant welcome on the terrace, non-alcoholic cocktails available upon request. - Beautiful panoramic view from the air-conditioned dining room, which was just the right temperature. - Dishes that were a little out of the ordinary, well-presented, and in reasonable portions (and I have a good appetite). - Very good wines. - Good, efficient service, always with a smile, even though there were about thirty of us. I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely plan to return!

20/06/2026: Nice restaurant in an old building. The pizza is good and the salad too. Very friendly and good service. We were there on a Wednesday, and it must have been sad for the owners that we were the only guests.

14/07/2026: I've been waiting an hour for my order to be delivered, and I've been calling ever since, but the number doesn't work, especially since they're closing soon. And according to the app, my order hasn't even gone into the oven. At this point, they're clearly taking their customers for a ride. If there's any kind of problem (delay, or high demand), the least they could do is inform customers through the app or by phone. I was hoping to eat my pizza while watching the France match, but that's out of the question. Honestly, I don't even plan on ordering again...

14/07/2026: I'm fed up with being taken for a ride. This is the second time we've ordered online, but I won't be doing it again. The first time, we were an hour late and received absolutely NO apology or compensation from your so-called restaurant. While we were waiting in line, we could see the pizzas sitting on the shelf... Honestly, the wait wasn't that long; they just didn't feel like working anymore! I'll never set foot in your establishment again. I have better things to do than waste my time. In short, shameful. Appalling service.

29/03/2026: Very warm welcome. Evening organized by a friend.

11/06/2026: Chateau set in a lovely location. We were welcomed at reception and shown to our room. It had a large bed, quaint features and a bathroom with separate toilet. Air-conditioning was great and although it seemed plush we had a few gripes...... When removing the decorative cushions from the bed they were all badly stained and dirty. We had reserved the room for 2 adults however there was only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel in the bathroom. The shower was totally inadequate as due to the low ceiling it could only go 3ft from the bottom of the bath and impossible to stand under. Breakfast, although pricey, was lovely with plenty of choice.

22/03/2026: A peaceful spot by the water. A truly delightful gourmet meal, even including dishes I wouldn't normally eat. The decor is exquisite. The rooms and bedding are worthy of the hotel's star rating. I highly recommend it. Just 10 minutes from Futuroscope.

08/06/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, with elegant presentation and excellent flavors. However, a few things could be improved. The decor could perhaps use a refresh to create a warmer atmosphere. I also found the cheese rather bland, and the dessert was served very lukewarm, which made it less enjoyable. Finally, the staff is professional and friendly, although a smile would add an extra touch of warmth. Overall, a good experience, with a few tweaks that could make all the difference.

23/05/2026: The welcome was normal, nothing to report, but the service was mediocre. They practically jumped on us, not even giving us time to look at the appetizer menu. They brought us rock-hard croutons to spread with tuna rillettes? Hello, dentures! We asked the waitress why the bread was so hard, and she replied, "It's all I have," before giving us slices of bread. She came back to take our order without waiting for us to finish our appetizers. Unhappy and not very friendly, she returned later. The menu wasn't worth the price, the young waiters were too attentive at the table, in short, a bad experience at this express restaurant, "Le Lion d'Or," which wasn't very welcoming. A sad end, or perhaps just plain hungry? 😂🤣

22/10/2025: A really cool pub. Unique decor, but super relaxed. The few beers I would have tried would have been great! Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends.

15/10/2025: Not being from Châtellerault, I highly recommend this bar/restaurant! The bartender and the waitress were incredibly kind, the kind of hospitality I've rarely experienced. The warm welcome allowed me to truly enjoy my work break. If you're passing by, stop in for a truly exceptional mental break. Thanks again for everything.

10/08/2026: We chose this restaurant because it was open on Mondays and was opposite the abbey. Big mistake! We arrived at 12:15 pm and the owner was already overwhelmed. We had to wait 25 minutes before getting the menu and being able to order. We then had to wait another 30 minutes for our starter, which was quite simple: just melon and ham. And we had to wait another 20 minutes for our main course of cold cuts and beef carpaccio. The fries were undercooked. It may be cheap, but it's not good and the service is far too slow.

04/08/2026: We had a delicious lunch here today! Even though we didn't have a reservation and it was quite busy, we were fortunately still able to get a table. We were warmly welcomed and the owner was incredibly friendly. We had a pleasant chat with him, which made the experience even better. We enjoyed a delicious three-course menu for a very reasonable price. It's nice that there are also delicious vegetarian options. The rosé completed the lunch perfectly. A restaurant with excellent value for money, a warm atmosphere, and hospitable service. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

A small suggestion: Would it be possible to try some new vegetables for your quiches (pumpkin, parsnip, cauliflower, eggplant, artichoke, fennel, endive, turnip, asparagus, olive, etc.)?
