The welcome was excellent, and the hot and cold buffet was superb.
Everything was delicious and well-prepared. In short, congratulations to the entire team!

31/12/2025: I've been waiting in their bakeries for over 10 minutes while one of the employees serves everyone AFTER me. The service needs improvement. Plus, they don't even have sandwiches. So I went to Kuntz where we always get good service.

19/01/2026: A very pleasant establishment with a lovely atmosphere. The menu is extensive. Homemade...okay, it says so right there. The fondue, etc., was very good, but the steak frites...not really. The portion was too small, and the hamburger patty was homemade...I doubt it. The starters were good, the desserts were okay. The prices are reasonable, and it's just a stone's throw from the castle.
17/01/2026: The chicken thigh had a strange taste! The inside was red, like it wasn't cooked enough. That might explain the strange taste, I think! Otherwise, the rest looked very good! However, the bartender refused to give me the receipt!

30/11/2025: During my previous visits, I noticed a dead mouse on the bar counter (photo attached). I also saw mice moving around the establishment, particularly near the area where the platters are prepared. I'm simply sharing these observations because they raised concerns about hygiene.

10/06/2025: A true disaster in terms of the welcome at this brasserie, whose taste I could never have known.
I went three times, half an hour apart, to have a drink on the terrace.
Three times I waited 15 minutes without seeing a server to take my order.

08/09/2024: Went for Dinner and had a great time. The waitresses were lovely and spoke good english, so even as non-French-speaker we felt very welcome. We had the Filet and the Bœuf bourguignon and it was really delicious. Also the service was super fast. Nice people, good food - what else do you want?
Side note: we don’t really understand, why this restaurant has some bad reviews on Google, we had nothing to criticize. Also a reservation beforehand is very helpful.

22/06/2025: This is my second time here and I've always been very well received. The staff is lovely and attentive. The food is also very good and the price/quality ratio is good; there are dishes for all budgets. I highly recommend it.

27/12/2025: Very disappointed. In December 2024, I ordered an Ispahan cake. Upon arrival, the order was sold out, and we received the Ispahan Yule log. In December 2025, I ordered another Ispahan cake (serves 6-8) by phone. Upon arrival, the order hadn't been taken! 🥵 Luckily, we arrived early, and there was one left. We might avoid a third order!
07/09/2025: Very friendly. Large selection of macarons. Made according to the original recipe. I'd definitely go back.

We regularly go to this inevitable institution in this beautiful and incredible city that is Versailles, and are partially disappointed. On the one hand the waiters are remarkably beautiful and the drinks give the impression of going straight to heaven, but that doesn't take away the unpleasant appearance of some of the staff!

28/09/2024: We were in the self service part, we have had coffee crossant and sandwich here many times. It is a great place to sit and have a break whilst visiting the palice, but it is expensive for what it is. Sandwiches are poor with not a lot of choice. Staff behind the counter are a bit slow in serving, but the young lady who was greeting customers was very good.
13/09/2024: This café is not luxurious at all.
However, it is the perfect café if you are tired from walking all the way to petit Trianon.
Recommended are the macarons and pain au chocolat. All the Angelina cakes are available.
Late in the afternoon you can see many vacant seats.
The same cafe at Grand Palace is always very crowded.
