10/09/2024: Excellent ! The dishes are incredibly tasty. A little expensive, in quantity it is less plentiful than an average restaurant but the quality is there and the prices are largely justified.
Go there with your eyes closed.
22/08/2024: Bonne expérience, aussi bien la cuisine qui est raffinée et assez copieuse. Le service excellent avec des serveurs enthousiastes, souriants à l'écoute et pertinents dans leurs conseils. Bon rapport qualité prix également.

31/08/2024: I'm a regular at nightclubs, but my experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing. The security guards demonstrated absolutely unacceptable behavior, with misleading innuendoes and blatant abuse of their decision-making power regarding the entry of customers (once they have paid). This type of reception is simply unacceptable.

Since when is fatigue a legitimate reason to prevent someone from entering an establishment, especially if that fatigue does not compromise your ability to enjoy your evening responsibly?

03/09/2024: At the top! Nothing to complain about, from the welcome to the dessert except for the panacotta... taken out of the fridge a little late, it lacked that creaminess we were looking for. Can be asked when ordering the dish if the customer would like a panacotta taken out of the fridge before for a temperature
optimal. Only downside after 5 visits to this restaurant! But we will return with great pleasure. The staff is active, responsive and pleasant.

07/08/2024: Passing through Marseillan for the holidays at more than 1 p.m. we didn't know where to eat.
After having made the maps of the restaurants in the port which are clearly tourist traps in our eyes, by searching on Google we came across this restaurant!
Well it’s a real gem!!!
A great welcome, exceptional cuisine!

18/09/2024: Schön am Emile Zola Platz mit großer Terrasse gelegen , bietet die Karte allerlei mit Käse ( aber nicht nur ). Sowohl der Césars salad als auch die Penne - beide mit 4 Sorten Käse -schmeckten exzellent, dazu ein guter offener Givry: Ein schöner Abend, der durch eine sehr nette Bedienung abgerundet wurde. Preiswert.

13/08/2024: Coming from Paris, via Clermont, we had reserved a table. Despite our message to warn of our delay, our table was allocated to other customers.
A message would have been left for us but it is not on this point that the bottom really hurts.
Indeed, the haughty tone of the person who received us was simply unbearable. Success in the kitchen should not at least prohibit courtesy in the dining room!

28/09/2024: Very nice! Delicious Indian-inspired drink and aperitif board! The prices are a little expensive but it's République and inflation that is reflected in the bill. Special mention for the kind and very efficient waiter with brown curls and a checked shirt who was on hand all evening!

09/09/2024: Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Great value for money. Would highly recommend. Some really interesting variations on known dishes - loved the sauce on the confit👍 the spiced bread with the foie gras was delicious.
29/08/2024: This lovely eatery managed to fit us in after we had been diverted through the region due to a car crash on one of the larger roads. A chef from a pizzeria in a neighbouring village could not fit us in for lunch but kindly called the owner of L'Escalier. The owner was friendly and the waiting staff incredibly friendly. They spoke to us in a mixture of French and English. They offered a bespoke sharing tapas style starter for the children and then divided a lovely beef main course between them. We ordered the beef too and my wife the tuna steak. The food was delicious, the service fast and friendly. A lovely pit stop! Thank you so much. x

01/10/2024: A warm welcome, with a pleasant waiter who gives very good advice and who listens to his customers. Quite refined cuisine with beautiful dressings. The dishes are plentiful, very good value for money and very good respect for the products. We came in the evening for dinner so the terrace was quiet with soft music playing in the background to accompany the meal, a wonderful evening that we will remember with the little limoncello at the end of the evening.
