13/10/2023: Hello everyone, part of Hohneck on foot and after 1h30 of walking we arrived at the Kastelberg inn. It is a magnificent place with breathtaking and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the valley. The inn is beautiful inside and it reflects the area well. The marquee meal was excellent, we had a starter and main course dessert 😋 we had a great time. The service is top notch 👍 and they are very friendly and very professional. Thank you for this good time that we spent at your place. And after returning to Hohneck, on the way back we saw chamois.... Have a good ride everyone ☀️🌞

04/03/2024: It was perfect. Home. Value for money. Delicious food and the best blueberry pie we have ever eaten. Frankly, we can only recommend it and want to come back and eat the pig. We came back to eat the stuffed pig and look for the delicious products. It was still good. Banana kiwi jam is delicious.

03/03/2024: A great family dinner. The table was ready with a high chair for our 20 month old daughter, and they offered a dish for our 4 year old son that was not on the menu. We had a great dinner and had a great time.

05/04/2024: Very good time spent in this hotel: the welcome was very warm and the receptionist (Amal) was attentive and very available and professional. The room was very clean and the breakfast was plentiful, varied and very good value for money. We highly recommend this address.

02/04/2024: Loyal customers of La Vignette for over 25 years, we learned that the hotel had been taken over in March, following the well-deserved retirement of the owners. We still decided to stay there, hoping to receive the same welcome and the same quality of service and food. Disappointment with the evening meal, served at the Munsch hotel, 500 m from the Vignette. We later learned that this hotel had also been bought by the same foreign group, “Resivac”. Vanished, Mr. Humbrecht's good homemade dishes... Make way for frozen vegetables, ready-made sauces, and industrial desserts for quick and inexpensive assembly... If you expect to taste regional dishes, you risk to be disappointed...All the tables are served in a row, without being asked if the menu suits us, there is no longer any personalized service. The former Vignette team has apparently been let go, even though they were an integral part of the hotel, and took great care of all guests. At breakfast, it's downright free fall. Impossible to sit at the same table, we have to separate (even though there are only 5 of us!) No drinks served at the table, it's a struggle. There is always something missing at the buffet, and customers wait to be able to fill their cup with hot water (barely lukewarm, in fact, as the thermos is filled directly from the tap!). It is very complicated to cook eggs because the water level is too low in the gastro. The receptionist (who also manages breakfast) runs around, but her efforts are in vain. Barely cooked industrial pastries, industrial baguette, industrial cake, etc. Here the factories are in operation, while a few meters away, an artisanal bakery offers excellent bread and delicious croissants. Some customers don't mind bringing their own breakfast, and we did the same the next day and the day after that. At this point we have a much better understanding of payment on arrival. Regular customers would surely have refused to pay the full price of their stay, as the quality/price ratio is now poor. It is with regret that we said goodbye to this hotel where we spent a wonderful Easter weekend with family.
