25/06/2026: A delightful stop this morning at Café Le Temps d’une Pause, located in the heart of Mulhouse, just steps from Place de la Réunion and only a ten-minute walk from the train station. As for the food, the café offers a full menu of hot drinks accompanied by small pastries to enjoy on-site. Lunch is also available, as well as brunch on weekends (reservations required). I had the opportunity to try a caffeinated drink with caramel and popcorn: a real treat to start the day. To accompany it, I opted for freshly squeezed orange juice, a homemade brownie, and a cookie, all equally delicious. The price-quality ratio is good. As for the atmosphere, the terrace is particularly pleasant. Located on a side street parallel to a busier thoroughfare, it allows you to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the city center while remaining away from the crowds and noise. Inside, several tables are available, as well as two very comfortable sofa areas that invite you to settle in and fully enjoy the moment. The service is friendly, smiling, and attentive. 04/07/2026: Huge portions for a reasonable price. The taste of the food is crazy. Don’t expect Arabic food in general, the place it’s specialised on couscous only but it’s totally worth it.

04/07/2026: The food was nothing special and overpriced. I ordered chicken, my partner lamb, and both meats were brought to the same plate, even though I don't eat lamb (meaning the chicken leg was sitting on top of the lamb). Furthermore, we weren't treated very kindly (I'm German, my partner is Syrian). Neither of us speaks French, and my partner tried to speak Arabic, which wasn't understood either. It was also obvious that the staff were gossiping about us with two other guests who were friends of the owner. My partner understood a few words of French, though. We didn't feel welcome at all! There are three tables inside and one outside.

12/07/2026: As a long-time loyal customer, I've noticed a clear decline in quality. The menu may be more visually appealing, but this doesn't mask the obvious drop in the standard of the food. This is all the more disappointing given that the establishment had previously distinguished itself. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously, without resorting to excuses, and that it will lead to improvements. Visited on 12/07/26

15/06/2026: Wonderful! I recommend the salmon California rolls! Delicious! Personally, I had a boat roll and it was so good!

28/07/2026: A super cozy restaurant in Spanish style. We had an excellent meal, the paella was fantastic, and the service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back.

28/07/2026: Good food. One minor complaint: the virgin Mojito was clearly lacking in sugar.

14/06/2026: Friendly terrace and staff very close to the cathedral; the sauerkraut was good, the sirloin steak less so (too thick and tough despite being cooked well). Reasonable prices (€52 for two courses and two Cokes).

11/06/2026: My girlfriend and I came on Thursday evening, June 11th, and everything was perfect, from the excellent food to the very warm service (a special shout-out to the Asian waiter who served us from beginning to end). We highly recommend this restaurant.

30/04/2026: Quick and very friendly service. Good food. A bit noisy with the tram.

30/04/2026: One star because we can't give less... We sat on the (empty) terrace for 25 minutes and no one came to take our order. So we went to Kraft Point right across the street, where we were served in 4 minutes despite the crowds (plus they had a great selection of beers). I recommend it!

07/12/2025: We always have wonderful experiences dining here. Today was a delightful discovery: a family brunch at this restaurant, which we'd previously only frequented for meals on market days. As always, the quality, quantity, and warm welcome were all excellent.
