20/09/2026: Outrageous! Ordering a "saffron risotto" only to discover on the plate that it was actually pasta, with no mention of it on the menu: for someone with a gluten intolerance, that's no small matter! The dish was replaced by a lovely waiter… but the duck leg arrived cold, even though my partner had already finished his meal. The result: a doggy bag and a ruined lunch! Simply writing "pasta risotto" on the menu would have avoided all this. For a restaurant as well-known as Mr. Georges', this is unacceptable.

20/07/2026: I recommend this restaurant: 😊 Around 1:45 PM, we walked in and were welcomed by the owners for two tagines. Our table was quickly set with pretty dishes, unlimited couscous, and the tagine dishes. My friend enjoyed the flavor of his lamb, while I opted for veal for the first time. Personally, I'm a big fan of spices, and I always find it a little lacking. A touch of salt, and everything came together perfectly—very good. There was fairly loud oriental music playing in the background, and the waitress was very friendly. I really enjoyed it.

16/07/2026: A journey awaits you on Rue des Couteliers in Toulouse. For the duration of a meal, Le Marocain transports you to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. The decor is superb, and the dining room possesses a truly unique character. From the moment you enter, you feel at ease in this intimate and soothing space, a particularly pleasant sensation in the heart of the city. The rugs covering the floor enhance this feeling of tranquility. The tables are tastefully set, and every detail seems to have been carefully considered. The air conditioning is also a welcome feature during periods of intense heat. The walls are adorned with finely carved wooden panels, sometimes embellished with mirrors that delicately diffuse the light. Copper teapots, wrought-iron chandeliers, and soft lighting create an elegant setting, without ever becoming excessive. The welcome is warm, sincere, and profoundly human. Here, you feel received with a genuine warmth as much as with a smile. The manager discreetly circulates from table to table, offering a kind word to each guest, while the service is attentive, kind, and naturally considerate. This generosity adds another dimension to the meal. Upon arrival, the aromas of spices immediately whet the appetite. The menu offers salads, several couscous dishes, and various tagines. I chose the M'Rouzia tagine: lamb marinated in Atlas spices, accompanied by honey and saffron-infused almonds. A dish that combines strength and delicacy. The spices are perfectly balanced, the lamb is meltingly tender thanks to slow simmering, and the honey enhances the whole dish without overpowering the other flavors. The fine, generously portioned semolina perfectly complements the dish. To finish, the gourmet tea is a delightful conclusion: mint tea accompanied by an assortment of Moroccan pastries. The waiter pours the tea in front of you with impressive precision and traditional gestures that are part of the show. The tea is fragrant and deliciously sweet, and the pastries, varied and tempting, are offered in reasonable portions: just enough to finish the meal without feeling heavy. Le Marocain is a place that leaves a lasting impression, as much for the quality of its cuisine as for its ambiance. The traditional music extends the escape and invites you to forget, for the duration of your meal, the hustle and bustle of Toulouse. An excellent restaurant where you can appreciate not only generous cuisine but also a warm welcome and service. A place we gladly recommend.

03/09/2026: We dined on the terrace on a beautiful summer evening. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff friendly, the wine delicious, and the food excellent. The flavors and seasonings were perfectly balanced. We highly recommend this restaurant!

06/09/2026: I go there regularly. They have very good pizzas, relatively generous and varied, and what's more, at a reasonable price compared to the current market. I'm addicted to the "Di Nando" pizza. The chef is a lovely person. Note that on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, there are great deals on medium pizzas (€10.50 for a medium pizza, even the most expensive ones), which means you can treat yourself even if you're not necessarily rich. Even though I have a big appetite (I exercise 4 to 5 times a week), I've never gone hungry. They also offer lasagna, which is very good, although not as generous as the pizzas. For dessert, they have two (or three, I can't quite remember) varieties of tiramisu at €4.50 each. Again, it's good value for money. Generally, a pizza and a tiramisu are more than enough to satisfy even a big guy like me. There aren't really any downsides, except for the lack of seating, but the small size of the restaurant gives it a friendly atmosphere (the owner loves to chat), and besides, people usually go there to order takeout. In short, all this to say that I highly recommend this pizzeria.

01/07/2026: Family-run restaurant. I've been going there for years. Excellent food, lots of flavor. Everything is excellent. The owner is welcoming, the waitresses are very pleasant, as is the cook. Go without hesitation, you'll be back. In fact, I'm going back tomorrow for the second time this week.

05/09/2026: Definitely the simplest welcome, but also the best. The owner is friendly, his kitchen is clean, and he's efficient (so the wait doesn't become unbearable, even when it's busy). As for the meal, it had been a long time since I'd had a GOOD kebab. The meat is good, the bread is cooked just right without being too hard, the kebab isn't dry, the vegetables are fresh, the portions are generous, and the fries aren't homemade, but they're good and crispy, unlike two-thirds of the fast-food restaurants in France. You can go into this place with your eyes closed (well, open them once you're inside to choose your meal and enjoy!).

06/07/2026: Service is excellent. Often, restaurants like Bibent have staff who are but civil. Dare I say the staff we interacted with were nice with maybe a tinge of warmth. Of the cassoulet we've tried during our two weeks in Occitanie, this was the best in terms of flavor. Perhaps the duck fat to meat ratio was higher than others we've eaten, but overall this has been our favorite. We were finally able to try a Fronton wine, and I am so happy to report that this restaurant knows how to store wine. It was served at the perfect (appropriate) temperature, and was very enjoyable. One small niggle is that not all the teas are Mariage Frères as listed on the menu. At least some are Damman Frères. Sort of false advertising if you have discriminating tea tastes! All in all, the restaurant is one we would happily return to for a nice meal. Recommended.

20/08/2026: I was counting calories, and an app found this restaurant after analyzing a photo of my meal. This mussel pizza was delicious and packed with protein for my day. The service here is quick and efficient.
