04/03/2026: I came to eat tonight with a friend. First of all, my order wasn't what I ordered, and on top of that, the fries were rock hard... I don't think they were fresh. Then I had a Coke that literally smelled like sweet almonds, and the taste... well, let's not even go there. Very disappointed.

03/03/2026: We stopped there as a family just for a drink. I love this place, and the children do too. The owners are very kind, and so is their dog 😊. There's nothing to complain about, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. An idyllic setting at any time of year… The children loved being able to borrow straw hats; it's easy to access but not right next to the slope, so you can relax.

02/03/2026: Another unforgettable evening at Babotch. Thank you to Gary and the whole team; reopening the kitchen at midnight to make us a ravioli gratin just like at home was simply magical—a vibrant atmosphere in a timeless setting.

29/02/2024: Nous avons pris le plat du jour Bien servi, excellent. La viande bien cuite et pour un prix très raisonnable 19€ pour un faux filet aux poivre vert gratin dauphinois salade. Le vin 35€ de bonne qualité. Accueil impeccable. Le sourire de Anne et de Alban nous on ravit. Terrasse plein soleil N’hésitez pas à vous y rendre

15/02/2026: I highly recommend this bakery. The cookies are delicious, the strawberry tarts are very good, and the chocolate cake is yummy and perfect! The sandwich deal is unbeatable value for money for a day out. However, on two occasions we asked for the daily special sandwich and it wasn't available... I think they prioritize individual purchases over the set menu because it was already sold out very early in the morning. Everything is very good, and the staff is very friendly. The only thing we didn't like—and I'm not trying to criticize, but rather hoping for improvement if others share our opinion—was the round loaf. I can't remember exactly which one, but we asked for it to be sliced. The bread wasn't very good. It was really full of air compared to the rest; it stood out. As for the pain au chocolat, or "chocolatine" as some call it, I personally thought it was good, but two hours after buying it in the morning, the top crumbled a lot, almost completely. It was dry, and the next day it was even drier. So, those are the two issues: the bread and the pain au chocolat. Otherwise, everything else was perfect; the pastries look extraordinarily good! This bakery is always packed, and we understand why 😉

01/03/2026: Very disappointing experience – Nonexistent value for money We spent two nights at this establishment and our experience was very disappointing. The positives: - Location: Just 200m from the village center, it's extremely convenient for getting around on foot. - Parking: An easily accessible outdoor parking lot. - Exterior: The hotel looks good from the outside, with attractive lighting and renovated outdoor spaces that give a good first impression. The negatives (the shock inside): Unfortunately, as soon as you step inside the room, the decor changes. - Outdated and unclean: The rooms are in a terrible state. The carpet is at least 20 years old and completely faded. The furniture is damaged, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired (the coffee table was literally covered in grime). - Bathroom: Unacceptable. The bathroom fixtures are of very poor quality, and the whole place is a sorry sight. - Safety: The staircase leading to the mezzanine was so steep as to be dangerous, even for an adult, and even more so for children. Breakfast: A disaster. The bare minimum, with pre-packaged, industrial products. It's clear there's no kitchen to prepare anything fresh. Conclusion: The value for money is nonexistent. The prices charged are completely below Megève hotel standards. This establishment is more like a hostel or a low-end two-star hotel than a boutique hotel. Very disappointing.

28/01/2026: Bad reviews are just not true. I met the manager during my visit and had a diner at the restaurant. Both the manager and staff are incredibly polite, attendant and friendly. Yes of course you pay the Megeve prices, you are in Megeve but that's to be expected. The food was incredible and the entire experience was beyond expectations. Thank you. Ignore the bad reviews, these people are just snobs who want to ruin good businesses. I am leaving a one star review because I know you clicked on lowest like me and will see this review this way. But it's actually 5 stars. Now I believe in you to give those 5 stars after your experience. Thomas, thank you for being our waiter last night, you're a wonderful kid with a bright future, enjoy that bottle buddy.

24/01/2026: A very good gourmet restaurant. We had a Savoyard fondue which was delicious. No taste of alcohol and very creamy. The best I've ever had. The staff is very attentive to the customers. The price is very reasonable considering the setting and the city.

25/02/2026: For over 10 years we've looked forward to returning to this excellent crêperie… but it's been a huge disappointment since the new owners took over… the buckwheat crêpes were all burnt and it's nothing like the quality we were used to ☹️ the waiter didn't even try to apologize when we told him what we thought… 🤦‍♂️

17/02/2026: I'm not familiar with the hotel side of things, but I've been to their restaurant and bar several times, both during the day and in the evening. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Megève, and the menu is very appealing. The decor is lovely and cozy. 🤎 The staff is incredibly attentive, and the spa service is fantastic. Their massages are magical. A great place to stay in Megève.

07/02/2026: Food is definitely above average for the standard in the French alps. The service has been a bit messy, mainly because of the many people to serve and few waiters. And the place is very beautiful! The restaurant is recommended!

01/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise at Coucou Café. We arrived as a group of four adults and three children without a reservation, and despite this, the staff took the time to find us a table on the terrace. Honestly, that was really appreciated. The setting is magnificent, right next to the airport's departures area. Watching the planes take off during your meal is a nice change of pace and appeals to both children and adults. The food was very good, homemade, and reasonably priced for Megève. Even the nuggets on the children's menu are homemade, which is worth mentioning. The staff were friendly, smiling, and accommodating. We'll definitely be back.

16/01/2026: SHAMEFUL!! A raspberry and blueberry tart for 4 people for 27 euros, with no pastry cream between the fruit and the crust. The blueberries were definitely frozen, as they were waterlogged. This is Megève, after all...

11/03/2026: Very disappointed by Beef Lodge. When you present yourself as a temple of meat in Megève, you should at least have a grasp of cooking techniques. We asked for rare: we were served well-done. We asked again for rare: we received blue. At this price point, it's not just a minor inaccuracy, it's a problem. As for the picanha that "browns on the plate," an explanation given with great confidence, this doesn't excuse either the texture or the poor cooking. The overall impression: a lot of posturing, less precision on the plate. At these prices, one expects more than a theoretical lecture on oxidation.

23/02/2026: This place fancies itself a gourmet restaurant, barely fit for truckers. Large, unrefined portions and an exorbitant bill. I was charged €10 more for a Beaufort tart than the menu price. Everything is poor quality, even the clientele. We miss Les Drêts, a restaurant with home-style cooking frequented by regulars, connoisseurs, and those with good taste. Avoid at all costs.
