18/06/2026: Thank you so much, I really enjoyed the meal, and it's quite special when throughout the meal you want to leave a review without having finished eating because I enjoyed it so much. I absolutely do not regret eating here, and I only have one regret: having to go back because I couldn't eat all 4 choices at once. I really would have liked to eat everything!

Between the photos in the reviews and our plate, it was like night and day!! No comparison.
The salad wasn't even dressed with the main course??? Not even another vegetable. Unheard of!

Huge disappointment.
The almond and fig tart wasn't fresh (not from that day).
The wine was overpriced.

As for the waitress, if you're so unpleasant because of your job, consider changing careers. There are many reviews highlighting your lack of professionalism; perhaps it's time for management to take action.

29/05/2026: I love coming here for lunch... and I'd never left a review before... What I'm making up for is that here, there are never any unpleasant surprises (except for arriving to find it full if you haven't taken the precaution of booking). The food is simple but always delicious, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff are warm and attentive. Several times, I've tried other restaurants... and left thinking, "I should have gone to Les Halles!"

Simple and effective with quality ingredients, quick service, a short menu with good products, excellent Limousin beef, a light beurre blanc sauce like in the old days, and homemade fries. The restaurant is located 5 minutes from the highway next to a small church, very charming and quiet. In short, the perfect lunch, the kind you rarely find anymore, at a very affordable price. Thank you!
21/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, with its red and white checkered tablecloths that immediately set the tone.
We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes served. The meat, coated in sauce, was tender, and the fries were the perfect accompaniment. It was a generous and delicious meal.
The red wine served in stemmed glasses complemented the meal perfectly. A great place in Vicq-sur-Breuilh for those who appreciate hearty cuisine. I will definitely return.

14/07/2026: There is a need for organization because we ordered 3 times and all 3 times it was chaos in the kitchen, we waited a minimum of 15 minutes even though we were told a specific time each time when we ordered.

11/07/2026: I came to eat at this restaurant with my daughter. The welcome was very warm, the waitress was smiling, EXCEPT that I ordered two salads, a Périgord salad and an Italian salad… they arrived beautifully presented, but ALL the ingredients were at room temperature, so they were warm and without dressing. We're supposed to eat a cold salad, not a hot one (the burrata, the salad, the foie gras…). I pointed this out to the waitress, who replied that it was hot in their kitchen… but refrigerators exist to store ingredients… Despite this, when it came time to pay the bill, there was no gesture of goodwill, not even a complimentary glass of white wine. I certainly won't be going back.
11/07/2026: Never disappointed, every time I go, it's always very good. The caramelized apple crepe with vanilla scoops is a delight.

09/06/2026: We were lucky enough to stay at the Auberge St Martin for our wedding, and we booked all eight rooms to accommodate our family and friends. Honestly, we'll cherish the wonderful memories of this occasion!
A huge congratulations to Christophe and his entire team for the successful reopening of the establishment. The welcome was truly warm, everything was well-organized, and all our loved ones had a short but very pleasant night.
We also had the opportunity to have lunch there twice, and it was always excellent: delicious food, attentive service, and a very friendly atmosphere.
We especially loved the personalized touches in the bride and groom's room; they really touched us and made the moment even more special.
Thank you again to the whole team; we will definitely be back!
