22/09/2024: Had a great lunch here, sitting outside in the pretty square. The Maître d' speaks perfect English (with a strong US accent!) and was able to explain the finer points of the menu. Closes for the winter months but definitely looking forward to returning next year.

19/09/2024: We booked this hotel over the phone. We arrived late in the afternoon and had dinner. Very kindly welcomed by the landlady who took us to our spacious, clean and well-equipped room (newly renovated!). We went down for dinner. The menu offered included 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts to choose from. After some advice from the waiter, very pleasant and friendly, knowing his dishes well, we placed our order. And what a surprise it was a dinner full of flavors, an explosion in the mouth which exalted the right mix of spices and a Limousin meat cooked to perfection accompanied by small vegetables which went well with this beautiful piece of meat!!. All the praised products were fresh and cooked by the Chef 🧑‍🍳 Edith, the boss!!. It was such a beautiful and good place that we had lunch there on Sunday afternoon. We highly recommend Douce Demeure in Mortemart, the only village classified as "the most beautiful village in France in Haute Vienne!!. See you soon for another "gastronomic" stopover!!."

12/12/2024: I was happy to have lunch there, but the lady who received me had decided otherwise. I think my biker outfit doesn't suit him anymore!! She made thousands of excuses, finally lies, for me not to have lunch there by offering me a snack several km from her restaurant. Biker friends to avoid! So I settled on a great little restaurant in Chateauponsac!! You Madam who received me, I don't blame you, but above all don't take people for idiots!! The final excuse: “I didn’t receive my deliveries” ah ah ah ah!! Adishatz

30/05/2024: Former bar from the 70s discreetly up to date, the welcome and service are impeccable. The cuisine is simple and tasty, served very quickly, we enjoyed the andouillette and the delicious homemade desserts. Good choice of wine by the glass. All for a very advantageous price, I recommend this stopover in a village full of charm. One suggestion: improve the toilets which are ok and clean, but could be greatly improved.

23/11/2024: Les pizzas sont délicieuses ; nous en prenons très régulièrement. En revanche, la relation commerciale est à revoir ! Pas de cadeau ! si vous avez oublié votre carte de fidélité, tant pis pour vous ! Pas de geste commercial suite à un cafouillage dans la commande (de la responsabilité du resto), on me demande 1€ de plus ! Un sou est un sou !!! A t-on vraiment envie de continuer à leur donner notre argent ???

05/09/2024: Wonderful pizzeria and friendly staff As for the pizza, I took a Classica and given an Italian and a big pizza lover, it is far from a successful pizza in fact the dough is not overcooked, little tomato sauce on the pizza, the cheese/mozza we see it but we don't taste it (so there's a little bit) and the olives there were 3 and not even pitted!! Frankly, for 12€ I find it very expensive, especially since there are too few ingredients!! Thank you very much for your friendly welcome 😊

14/09/2024: Toujours un excellent moment chez Philippe Redon. Une cuisine sublime, un service de grande qualité, on se sent bien dès l’entrée et ensuite….on se laisse aller, de surprise en surprise. Excellents conseils pour le vin également, franchement, c’est un pur moment de plaisir. Nous y reviendrons, comme nous l’avons déjà fait, dès que possible. Bravo !

12/08/2024: Établissement idéalement situé et entouré d'une terrasse très verdoyante. équipe plus ou moins souriante, quant à l'assiette malheureusement un poisson trop cuit et un esquimau en guise de dessert formidable !! mais je n'y retournerai pas

27/08/2024: Endroit superbe, un personnel super agréable et sont très généreux sur les quantités. On a pu récupérer l excédent dans un tote bag. Super cadre je recommande vraiment !

22/08/2024: Le cadre et les prix sont corrects mais je ne vous parlerai pas du temps d'attente interminable pour des moules frites (dont les frites ne sont pas maison), la serveuse qui est aussi peut être la patronne, est désagréable au possible. La serveuse ne vous regarde pas en parlant, propose le choix des dessert et s'en va dans la foulée: bonjour l'ambiance! Aucune des 2 personnes qui sert ne nous demande si ça se passe bien et une fois arrivé à la caisse, la note nous est limite jetée au nez sans que personne ne nous adresse la parole!!! Ma tante et moi avions commandé 2 parts de moules frites et un seul et gros saladier ne nous a été présenté ! Je décommande +++ et jamais je n'y remettrai les pieds. Même ma fille de 9 ans a remarqué l'attitude de la pseudo serveuse. Je n'invente donc rien...

29/12/2023: Superbe, juste une chose, pensez à réserver car ce restaurant et victime de son succès !!! Ambiance, service top, menu du jour plus que correct vu le tarif. Je recommande.

20/12/2023: Un service aux petits soins, une cuisine excellente que demander de plus... Je reviendrai très vite !!
