21/06/2026: An absolutely magical experience at the Shalimar restaurant in Valencia. The staff were exceptionally kind, the atmosphere was warm and refined, I felt truly pampered. The service was incredibly fast. Everything exceeded my expectations, I highly recommend it!

There's a really good selection on the menu, including vegetarian options. I recommend the mango lassi, which is smooth and flavorful, as well as the shrimp rice. Very good!

25/06/2026: Excellent lunch find! I opted for the express lunch menu at €14.50, which included fragrant basmati rice, raita, lentil dahl, and curry, along with naan and a mango lassi. For dessert, there was a coconut semolina cake. Everything was absolutely delicious! The dishes were very flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and prepared with care. The naan was freshly baked and still piping hot when it was served! The portions were particularly generous; I even had trouble finishing it all. The service was also impeccable, quick, and efficient. A special mention goes to the lady who greeted me, who was incredibly kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place for enjoying authentic, generous, and flavorful Indian cuisine. I will gladly return!

The dishes met my expectations, but I felt there was something missing that would set this place apart from other Indian restaurants. Everything was decent, but without much of a wow factor. I have stopped trusting other Indian restaurants for quality issues, while this being Nepali, the quality is good and the packaging is sustainable. You won’t feel bloated after eating here, and you won’t have issues like common gravy for all the dishes. Overall loved the food and packaging.
