05/11/2025: This Touraine-style beuchelle was an excellent discovery, as was this charming little restaurant just steps from the castle. The very friendly owner is attentive and helpful. Homemade cuisine, menu updated regularly. Looking forward to returning.

14/02/2026: A magnificent setting in the heart of the countryside, the decor, the tableware, the comfort at the table or in the lounge—everything is designed to make you delighted to be there.
And what can I say about the meal? It's a marvel for the taste buds, with meticulous attention to presentation. The cuisine is exceptional. The wine pairings are perfectly matched.
The staff and the manager are incredibly attentive. I offer you a big Bravo for all these reasons... I highly recommend this restaurant; it's well worth the detour.
07/02/2026: Our children treated us to a meal; the portions were small, enough for the starters and desserts but just enough for the main course. The food was excellent, but the extra charge for the wine and cheese plate was a bit excessive. We had a very pleasant evening, the staff were friendly and professional, and the setting was magnificent.

We had a very good time.

The service is very pleasant, the staff are smiling and attentive.
There's a wide selection of teas and hot drinks, and the pastries are excellent.
The children loved the soft chocolate. A big thank you for this relaxing moment spent with family between Christmas and New Year's. ❤️ I highly recommend it!

30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.
13/11/2025: Comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. The castle is a 5-minute walk away.
Spacious and comfortable room.
Highly recommended!

It's a shame we would have liked to try the chocolates, but we were told to pay for our order and leave immediately, even though the bakery was empty during opening hours 🤷🏼♀️ Such a business remains a mystery to me: two visits, two cold, not to say glacial, receptions... Good luck for the future

27/10/2025: We had lunch on a Monday. We arrived quite early around 12:15. The welcome was good and there were few people there, but it was cold because the door was open. I allowed myself to close it. We were served quickly. The pizzas were delicious and the dough was also probably one of the chef's specialties. The restaurant filled up quickly, the atmosphere is noisy and family-friendly. The waitress was alone serving and taking the money, which kept customers waiting. So I recommend arriving early if you are in a hurry.

20/09/2024: Lovely relaxed restaurant. Short but varied menu. Everything we had was delicious. Extremely good value compared to other meals out on this trip, very pleasant staff.

15/10/2024: My partner took this hotel with breakfast for a short romantic weekend with a visit to some of the magnificent castles of the Loire. We arrived on Friday evening, nothing to complain about the very cheerful and helpful welcome. The boss or one of the employees tells my partner that we have a free aperitif at the bar a little further away (I find that really nice), in short in the meantime we go to our room, very small unlike the photos, tiny bathroom, single glazing, a convector (toaster for purists) as heating and a hand basin as a sink. Anyway, we decide to take a shower to freshen up after the long drive. For the water to be hot it was necessary to run it for no less than 5 minutes, during this time we noticed that the water was flowing poorly so I removed the drain cover and removed the filter red so that the latter flows better, but when removing it we found lots of hair clinging to it from the former residents or even from those still before and maybe even further than that. Anyway, we finish our shower and when we get out we realize that the shower doors are not waterproof, the bathroom was flooded...
After so much disappointment, we went to have our free and well-deserved aperitif, the bar owner was not aware, we still had our drink but the bad experience continued.
The next morning we go downstairs, all excited at the idea of breaking our bellies with the famous hotel breakfasts... We arrive in the room and there is nothing, no one, literally nothing and no one, so just two poor people pots with cereals there for a long time to have tasted one... After a few minutes of staying in the hotel lobby we came across a poster saying that breakfast is taken at the bar opposite, our face lights up again and we cross the street, enter and introduce ourselves, obviously the lady not aware of our coming and therefore annoyed but always smiling and very friendly, we still had lunch but far from breaking, and obviously the same thing is repeated on Sunday morning for breakfast,
the lady was not aware of our coming. That's what concerns our short stay in this hotel, we didn't feel cold it's true, but simple glazing and convectors in a hotel in 2024 I didn't think that was possible, the water must flow for a long time for heating, multiplied by the number of rooms the energy footprint is heavy...
