Good general rule
However, I asked for a tiramisu for dessert and I don't know what I was served but it was anything but a tiramisu.
So disappointed, so much so that I didn't have coffee 😞

Simple but good dishes and a selection of wines 🍷 to match.
Friendly and empathetic server. I recommend !
13/03/2024: The establishment is nestled in the very center of Azay where we find quality local dishes. The products (cheeses/charcuterie) on the boards are excellent and fresh.
But what we appreciate above all is the quality of the advice and recommendations of the waiter/oenologist who knows the origin of his menu very well.
It is a pleasure to discuss grape varieties with him and goes so far as to tell us little anecdotes from certain areas.
We highly recommend.

06/04/2024: A remarkable renovation of a beautiful historic building from the 18th-19th century: rare! Commons in freestone, well-sized bedroom perfectly furnished with built-in wardrobe, bathroom with Italian shower, separate WC, espresso machine, etc. Well done !

03/04/2024: We ate very well and the waiters were friendly, but I was disappointed with the bill at the end. We have ordered, among many other things, a menu and instead of charging us the menu price they have charged us separately. For one euro more I'm not going anywhere, but it's been ugly.
12/03/2024: Very nice little restaurant. Very warm welcome, A lovely setting on a quiet little square, car-free. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day in February and were able to enjoy the sunny terrace with a view of the 11th century Saint-Symphorien church.
Excellent meal, regional products, home cooking and very reasonable prices. A great discovery!

The aesthetics of the dishes match their flavors. Sophisticated offerings that are always legible on the palate, so you don't get lost when tasting. A superb diversity of textures. 30/03/2024: The food was very expensive and bad. They served us a carbonara pasta that did not have the ingredients shown on the menu. The schnitzel was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Despite the complaints, we still paid for all the dishes
The total bill came to 80 euros for 4 poorly prepared plates of food and 4 drinks.
Experience to forget.
