26/08/2026: Incredible birthday dinner at the Raja's Palace! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We came for my girlfriend's birthday and had a wonderful evening. The food was absolutely amazing, authentic, and full of flavor. The service was very kind and attentive; they even made her birthday feel special. I highly recommend it! We will definitely be back.

09/08/2026: The food was of good quality despite the rather small portions. Service remains the number one area for improvement; communication with the staff was very difficult.

08/09/2026: Fast service. Reasonable prices. A lot of options. The burger was interesting - chicken with guacamole and tomato tartare. Not exceptional but a good effort nonetheless. Central location. A lot of places outside and inside. Go for it :)

07/04/2026: Very average; don't have any important appointments right after eating the Boursin pizza, and allow yourself two hours of rest afterwards.

30/08/2026: 🔥 Beware of #bistrotrégent in Tours city center! A waitress assaulted an elderly woman after serving her poorly. She ordered an aperitif after her main course (???), which the customer simply pointed out without refusing her food (which is what I would have done). Then, this waitress went around to the other tables, turning the tables on other customers and escalating the situation, creating a tense atmosphere for everyone. She publicly humiliated the woman when she tried to return her aperitif, which was mostly water because it had been incorrectly measured and served in an unsuitable glass, like mine. Finally, she huffed, puffed, and yelled, saying "fucking hell," and said, "You're going to pay now..." In short, I, a customer, witnessed this violence on August 26th. The woman, around 70 years old, was trembling so badly she couldn't even enter her PIN! 🔥 #shame #violence #violenceagainstwomen

30/07/2026: Located in the Ibis Tours Centre Gare hotel. Indoor and outdoor seating. Best chips, salad & sauce. The salmon and duck are delicious. Bistro Regent always delivers. Highly recommended.

19/07/2026: A great time in this festive and welcoming place. Just so you know, to get a table outside on a Saturday night, you need a reservation. Inside is nice too, but at 10 pm the music is too loud to hear a conversation, which is a shame, especially since no one was dancing yet. In short: Great place. Great welcome, even if the service was a little slow. Interesting menu, nice dishes, attentive servers. So don't hesitate.

15/07/2026: We made a reservation 48 hours in advance by phone for six people to watch the football semi-final, specifically requesting a seat on the screen. We mentioned we would be eating tapas there. Upon arrival, we were told, "No worries, you'll have good seats, no problem," but we were relegated to a remote corner where we couldn't even see the screen. Where I come from, that's a complete joke! We had to leave, it's shameful not to respect our customers. We had to travel there because it's far from the city center, parking was difficult, it was a waste of time, and they barely offered an apology... it makes you want to come back.

11/07/2026: We were too tired to cook after a long day and this was the only place within walking distance of our Airbnb, but in the end it was genuinely delicious! We were both very pleased with the pizzas we got and hungrily wolfed them down. Soft, tasty dough, fresh ingredients, really good cheese. The people running it were very friendly and switched to English once they overheard us speaking it. What a great find in an otherwise quiet residential area.

13/09/2026: A rather disappointing experience. I had fond memories of my previous visits to this restaurant, but this time I was very let down. I took the trouble to book a week in advance, but that didn't stop us from being seated at a table right up against the wall next to the restrooms, near a screen that repeatedly projected dazzling images. The service was extremely slow. By the time the main course arrived, the cold drinks had warmed up... We had to call the waitresses over several times, but they completely ignored us. The value for money is poor; it's quite expensive for dishes that are decent but nothing special. The music, which had no connection to the setting or the food, was a bit too loud, and the dirty ochre wall under the plastic vegetation didn't exactly transport me to another world. To top it all off, the bill showed four spring rolls for €0, which I took as a mistake, but the waitress told me they were appetizers. When I pointed out to her that we hadn't received them, she just seemed surprised but didn't apologize.

04/09/2026: Very disappointed with this delivery. The teriyaki chicken was very dry, and the small coleslaw was tasteless and also very dry.

17/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal, everything was delicious! The setting is really lovely and pleasant, with very reasonable prices. The people who run this place are delightful, welcoming, and warm. A great find, we'll definitely be back!

16/08/2026: The place was empty; there were about six people sitting there. We weren't allowed to sit down and were told they were full. We had the impression it was because of our German accent. A real shame.

29/08/2026: Excellent value for money!! You get what you pay for, very generous portions!! A very good 250g flank steak with homemade sauces and fries, and the profiteroles are gargantuan!!
