12/02/2026: First time for us, as we'd heard about it, so we booked a set menu rather than ordering à la carte. We definitely plan to return with our friends because absolutely everything was perfect, incredibly refined, with surprising and perfectly balanced flavors. The ingredients are truly showcased without the preparation overpowering the rest of the meal. The service is warm, efficient, and never stuffy. Thank you so much to your cooks! Ajo!! 😊

17/02/2026: A lovely pizzeria in the heart of Saint-Émilion, nestled among the medieval streets. On the menu: Southwestern salad, whole duck breasts, baked eggs, chocolate mousse, and red berry panna cotta. All the dishes and desserts were excellent. I highly recommend it. Good value for money.

11/02/2026: Excellent meal, great welcome and atmosphere. 4 stars for the food because there's always room for improvement, lol. No complaints whatsoever: generous portions, lovely presentation, homemade with quality ingredients. I was even given a little box to take home the leftover pizza I couldn't finish. As for the "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee), it was a real treat with a choice of several drinks, including cappuccino. I highly recommend it. We will definitely return when we're back in your region. We'll be giving the address to friends and family. P.S.: The grotto is an enchanting escape.

The staff is very friendly (which is becoming rare these days). The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor is tasteful. Everything is there for a wonderful time. 08/02/2026: We had a fantastic meal; the lunch menu is €20 for a starter, main course, and dessert, which is really reasonable! There was a lot of choice, and everything looked delicious. I recommend booking for lunch, as it's a popular spot and fills up very quickly.

Everything is homemade with passion, from the pasta to the desserts, and you can taste the love for the craft in every dish. The welcome is so warm, like being invited to a friend's house, and every visit is a real treat. Without a doubt, my favorite Italian restaurant in Bordeaux! 😚

(The wait between courses was too long due to one of the two servers "abandoning" the service. We only realized what was happening and why there was such a long delay a little too late.)

22/02/2026: Review February 2026: A year without being able to visit: it's sadly closed on Sundays, but fortunately, on Saturday lunchtimes you can enjoy the evening menu. I was able to rediscover the excellent Table de Caychac, with Yann still at the helm. I thoroughly enjoyed the slow-cooked veal rump with a delicate ratte du Touquet potato mousseline... which paired beautifully with parsley-seasoned oyster mushrooms and waffle fries, all topped with a delicate black garlic sauce. On the palate: a magnificent marriage of flavors. Once again, my taste buds are delighted. Thank you, Yann, and... see you soon! 💫 Review March 2025: We always return with pleasure to this excellent Table de Caychac, which never fails to surprise our senses. Starter: Camembert, walnut, and honey shortbread tart: as delicious as it was surprising. Main course: Roasted duck breast stuffed with foie gras, served with port and foie gras sauce, butternut squash mousseline, and baby vegetables: a flavor combination that completely reinvents the traditional pairing of duck breast and foie gras. Dessert: Grand Marnier frozen soufflé, wonderfully smooth and creamy. One minor drawback: the service was slower than usual. Was this the price of success because the restaurant was full? Or was the waiter less efficient (and less refined than previous ones)? But a huge thank you to Yann, the Chef, for this wonderful experience. 2024 Review: Truly captivated by this cuisine which, built on a foundation of masterful classic techniques, combines a successful marriage of flavors. From starter to dessert, a complete sensory experience. Who would have thought to combine chocolate and olives? A truly delightful gastronomic moment. Thank you.

Lume is a unique place, timeless, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city and everyday life… We were regulars when we lived in Bordeaux, and we love coming back to eat there whenever we spend the weekend! It's a restaurant where the cuisine and service are perfectly in sync, creating a seamless experience that borders on perfection! We always eat there wonderfully; the portions are just right, balanced, and the dishes tell a real story. It's refined and intelligent cuisine. The service is gentle and warm. Everything is there for an extraordinary evening. Since we both work in the restaurant industry and love Michelin-starred restaurants, Lume remains undeniably one of our favorites! The wine list is precise, extensive, and reflects the soul of this restaurant and its owners. We let Alice guide us and are never disappointed! His food and wine pairings are also perfectly balanced! As for the tasting menu, it's definitely worth the trip! It reflects a genuine love for quality ingredients, for quality dishes, and for doing things well… and pays tribute to the Italian and regional producers he works with. If you think you like Italian cuisine, Riccardo's cooking will make you appreciate it even more! It's a true discovery of his native region. From the amuse-bouches to the dessert, including the savory courses, everything is delicious and authentic. We will definitely be back!
