22/10/2023: We are slowly getting to know the French Jura and happened upon this small hotel in Foncine-le-Haut. There, we opted to spend the night in the roullotte, a kind of trailer, which gave us the autonomy of a small apartment. Jessica and Julien are very friendly and helpful. Julien was in charge of the kitchen in the evenings, and we and our friends picked through pretty much everything on the menu over a couple of evenings. It was all very good, well-prepared, generous portions. They offer local products where they can. Jessica was on duty in the mornings and breakfast was well worth getting up for! We enjoyed our stay, there’s lots to see in and around the town, and good hiking. I definitely recommend a stay.

18/10/2023: Nous avons passé une très belle soirée et nuit L acceuil est vraiment sympathique ,humain,vrai. On s'est senti réellement accueilli. Le repas était délicieux du début à la fin. J ai craqué pour le moelleux au chocolat. J aurais dû demander la recette.... Le petit déjeuner :excellent J ai apprécié que tous les détails soient pensés : les vins sont bio la musique est chouette les yaourt maison du matin sont maison et délicieux, etc Ça fait plaisir. Merci. Vraiment: on a passé un bon moment. Ah... les chambres sont belles.

02/11/2023: Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Just a small downside on the price of breakfasts. Not very well stocked for the price.

22/10/2023: Honestly, nothing to say. Booking 2 nights for a romantic weekend, the boss carried out the request I had made to him in terms of room decoration. The restaurant is great, we ate very well there. Good and delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, welcoming.... Very generous breakfast. I recommend 200%

22/02/2026: The hotel was very clean and very quiet, the room was pleasant, the only downside was the breakfast. The pre-packaged, industrially produced sliced ​​bread wasn't great; homemade bread from local bakers is much better. The same goes for the industrially produced jam, even though there are shops that make their own products. The industrially produced fruit juice wasn't very good either. We expected better for breakfast.

20/12/2025: We came for drinks several times with a young friend who uses a wheelchair, and the welcome was so warm that the three of us decided to come for a meal. The food was absolutely excellent, and the service exemplary. Special mention goes to the manager who greeted us with great care, both for drinks and during our meal. We will definitely be back!

12/10/2023: Nous avons été très déçu de ce restaurant. Portions minuscules, qui ont manqué en quantité et en goût, prix repas avec une verre de vin 30 euros par personne... Seule point positif était le serveur qui a su bien conseiller pour les vins et sembler faire beaucoup plus que juste serveur.

10/10/2023: Restaurant à découvrir, accueil sympathique, une carte diversifiée sachant satisfaire tous les goûts. Très belle decoration en prévision d'halloween !

08/11/2025: Lunch at the inn. Our second time! A warm and professional welcome, a very bright dining room with large bay windows. Dishes: beautifully presented and, above all, delicious, with a rich and varied wine list. Special mention for the veal rump with zucchini and the simply perfect desserts (including the fig medley). And what a pleasure it was to chat with the hostess about the region's vineyards! Not a single flaw: we'll be back!
