24/03/2026: We've been going there for almost 15 years. Never disappointed. The chef always greets us with a smile. The staff are friendly.

23/03/2026: I haven't had a chance to try the food yet, but I've eaten most of the grocery items, certainly the best sushi in Dole, a great selection of unsweetened iced tea, and very delicious mochi.

10/12/2025: A wonderful family birthday meal for 13 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 3). A warm welcome and beautifully presented plates filled with delicious, high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared.

18/03/2026: The music was at a comfortable volume, making for a pleasant experience. The plate was generous and the food delicious. I've rarely felt so comfortable in a restaurant. We weren't too close to the other customers.

01/04/2026: Impeccable welcome, service, and cuisine. Magnificent setting in a cellar on the banks of the Canal des Tanneurs. However, one star less because the ventilation system was either absent or faulty. Our clothes were permeated with cooking smells. Only one toilet, unisex, which was disappointing.

18/01/2026: In Dole, I found most of the restaurants mediocre. Truly, congratulations! A top-notch menu, everything was excellent, especially the ravioli, even though choosing was difficult. Well done! You don't have much competition in Dole for the quality/price ratio.

06/12/2025: I came for my son's funeral, and the Hôtel de la Cloche recommended the restaurant. It was very pleasant, with excellent food and service. It reminded me of when I was the manager of Chalet Mont Roland. Thank you.

17/03/2026: An interesting discovery, chance works in mysterious ways, we stumbled upon it and have no regrets, everything is perfect, highly recommended, especially the frogs.

11/03/2026: We came to eat as a group of six. The restaurant was good, but overpriced for what was offered. The dining room was small, making it very noisy. There was no children's menu, which was a drawback. The risotto was tasteless and rather bland. It was clear that the food wasn't homemade. It was 20 degrees Celsius outside, and there was no outdoor seating, while the restaurant next door had one. The door was open, so it wasn't warm inside. When we arrived, a couple had three dogs in the restaurant that were constantly barking. €270 for six people, including one child. For five appetizers, five main courses, one scoop of ice cream, and three coffees, I find that extremely expensive.

09/01/2026: A lovely place, elegant cuisine made with quality ingredients. The setting is superb and the service is pleasant. A restaurant like this is one we wish we could find more often, and well worth a visit.

10/03/2026: Restaurant La Romanée offers simple yet refined cuisine in the old town of Dole. You can see and taste the freshness of the ingredients. We loved the food, the service, and the decor. Don't hesitate to ask for advice or questions. Absolutely no complaints; the owners are lovely, don't change a thing. I highly recommend it for families, friends, or even on your own. Above all, remember to make a reservation; it's a restaurant.

06/03/2026: Beautiful setting for dinner. It's a shame they turned away two people at 9:20 pm on a Friday night, knowing they close at 11 pm and that they had admitted two people just minutes before. We were still warmly welcomed, though. Apparently, the chef had already turned everything off in the kitchen. The dining room was quite full.

10/03/2026: Lunch at the restaurant today. Pleasant staff, delicious food, excellent value for money, and a visit from the chef at the end of the meal. Congratulations to the chef and all the staff! Highly recommended.

06/03/2026: Found a lovely hotel on Michelin with excellent cuisine. The rooms at the back of the house are nice. Our bathroom, though renovated, was probably closed in winter and smelled. We had to air it out thoroughly. The bistro restaurant is a splendid location, from the ambiance to the menu and the service. Everything is good and well-prepared.
