01/06/2026: I was very disappointed by my experience at Villa Mermoz. I went there yesterday and was surprised by the complete lack of rules regarding customer attire and behavior. Seeing people keep their hats on at their tables in an establishment of this caliber is already regrettable, but what was most disturbing was the general lack of respect in the dining room: phones used with the volume at full blast, without any intervention from the staff. The atmosphere was severely degraded, and the meal lost all its enjoyment. It's a shame, because the setting could be much more pleasant with a minimum of courtesy and more attention paid to this matter by management.

He gave us a warm welcome, advised us with great professionalism, and helped us throughout our visit. Thanks to him, we had an excellent experience, and I will gladly return. 23/05/2026: Sadly! And unbelievably… especially for these beautiful warm days they do not serve Aperol or Hugo spritz! I’ve never been after many years in France ever been to a nicer restaurant that simply chooses not to offer Aperol! Bummer! Crazy part?! Beware the Mojito is €20 and entirely not worth it … so Definitely out to get tourists! No joke I had to come back to edit that they ran out of their fixed menu chicken choice and the only alternative was lamb. Psyche🙄

29/04/2026: I've been coming here for over 20 years with my children and it's always a pleasure. Firstly, because you're never as warmly welcomed as in this restaurant, and secondly, because the food is excellent and it's a sure bet in Aix!

26/04/2026: A disaster. Frankly, it was awful, overcooked, and very expensive for what it was (24 euros for a plate of four mezze, including three falafels as hard as wood). The wine by the glass was frankly terrible. A very bad experience, I won't be repeating it.

25/05/2026: A very well-located restaurant. The welcome was very warm, but the service was very (too) slow. The dishes are of good quality (the portions are a bit small for the price), and the setting is truly sublime inside, right next to a charming bookstore attached to the restaurant.

11/06/2026: We had a delicious meal; we went for the pizzas and a lovely homemade dessert. Friendly service and good value for money. Unfortunately, we stumbled upon this restaurant on the last day of our holiday, otherwise we would have gone multiple times 😉 run by Italians, highly recommended!

20/04/2026: A truly enchanting experience! Stepping through Ida's door is like finding the comfort of home. The welcome is incredibly warm and the food is simply delicious, authentic, and generous. You feel right at home, the food is wonderful... You can't wait to go back. I'm especially looking forward to trying the spaghetti and meatballs.
