15/02/2026: I've been to Nova several times and always enjoyed my meals until February 14, 2026, for Valentine's Day, when, in my opinion, it fell far short of the establishment's usual standards. The special menu, advertised at 85 euros, was very tempting but far from the reality of the food. Apart from the two (very small) scallops, which were well-seasoned and cooked, and the rich veal jus, nothing else had any real flavor. The veal was overcooked, and the rest of the dish was bland. The dessert was insignificant. I was truly disappointed. Furthermore, I posted my complaints on Facebook, and both of my comments were deleted, which I find unacceptable.

15/10/2025: Very good during the week, no wait. Good meat dishes. The desserts are good and worth discovering. Some local products are sold inside, myrtle liqueur, hazelnuts, clementines, etc.

12/10/2025: A lovely discovery in the streets of this beautiful village... the welcome is charming and the dishes very tasty. Everything is tempting... the zucchini lasagna with brocciu is excellent: very fragrant; melting, it's fresh and homemade. The brocciu ice cream is enriched with a drizzle of excellent olive oil and basil... we want more. A success... without forgetting the homemade myrtle liqueur... a very good time

03/03/2026: One of the few restaurants open at the end of February. Glad to see that touristy doesn't mean tourist trap 😜 The view of the port and the mountains in the background is absolutely breathtaking! The service was rather slow, but we were on vacation, and I prefer that to pre-prepared meals that arrive in 3 minutes. Once served: We were in heaven! The spinach and ricotta tortellini was generous and perfectly cooked (I'm jealous that my partner chose it). The Savoyard hamburger was excellent, with a sturdy bakery bun and super tender and delicious paprika fries (not crispy at all, but it worked well). Even the coffee was good, which is so rare that I like to mention it ☕ The establishment is clean, including the restrooms. A very good place 👍

27/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Comptoir. Clearly, the best beef tartare in all of Calvi. Perfect meat, just the right seasoning, nothing to complain about. And then the dessert… the egg custard was in a league of its own, it was so good. Perfect texture, incredible taste, we're still remembering it. The welcome was fantastic, the service top-notch, professional and attentive. And a special mention to Arlette: in addition to her beauty, she has a genuine, natural, and warm personality. It makes all the difference. A sunny terrace, a pleasant atmosphere, and an exceptional view of the Port of Calvi. Sunshine, a magnificent setting, it doesn't get any better.

20/10/2025: This restaurant, A Casaiola, is truly lovely. We went there on the recommendation of our lovely hosts and were definitely not disappointed! Excellent meal, perfect service. The price is very good because the meals were all quality, having eaten there several times. The atmosphere is zen, and you're facing the sea, and it's so beautiful. If you want to disconnect and eat very well, I recommend it. A treat for the taste buds and such a beautiful view.

18/10/2025: Top service! I've been here before and it's no surprise, it's always a treat! Their seafood salad is very generous and very good, their pizzas melt in your mouth with a thin and light crust, very complete pizza with lots of flavor and toppings. And to finish, as they say, the best for last, their homemade Nutella tiramisu is incredible! I highly recommend it, with my eyes closed!

10/10/2025: Great ambiance and delicious food – if you absolutely want to sit inside, you should make a reservation in advance. We sat on the lovely terrace and loved it! Be sure to bring cash, but there's an ATM nearby.

26/10/2025: A wonderful discovery during our stay in Corte. Excellent and plentiful cuisine and very reasonable prices. The kindness of the staff and the quality of the service are a plus. I recommend it!

22/10/2025: A wonderful experience on October 22, 2025. Even off-season, the quality is there. Don't hesitate to visit this beautiful restaurant, with its heated indoor terrace and very welcoming staff. Tested today: Wild boar stew with gnocchi and trout stuffed with brocciu. The first dish was as generous as you could wish for, everything you'd expect from a plate of game in a sauce. The quality/price ratio is at its peak. The second course, the trout, demonstrated the chef's talents, with masterful cooking and varied, well-matched combinations. Mix and match to obtain many balanced flavors. The brocciu pairs very well with the fish. Bravo, and thank you!

05/01/2026: We ordered a Cassoulet and a Sauerkraut but they were out of stock... so Warm Goat Cheese Salad for Madame and Calzone for me, all washed down with a Pietra beer of course, no room for dessert as it was delicious and hearty, we will come back with great pleasure!
