06/08/2026: Sorry we can't give it a 5/5, we must have gone on an off day! Several issues marred our visit. The service was mediocre (the waiter seemed a bit lost, maybe he was new?). They forgot the bread and didn't ask what we wanted to drink. As for the food, the eggs meurette were cold and one portion was missing mushrooms. The egg buffet had hard-boiled eggs but no mayonnaise, and my fries must have been made with baby potatoes. That said, we had a decent meal and the price was good. As locals, we'll give it another try.

06/08/2026: We stopped for lunch during a road trip in our VW T2B campervan along the Route Bleue. Excellent place: quality service and a superb €17.80 set menu. I recommend the calf's head with gribiche sauce. A must-try if you're interested in the Trente Glorieuses (the thirty glorious years of post-war economic boom) and the good old days of traffic jams on the N7 (you have to take it whether you're going to Rome or Sète, whether there are two, three, four, five, six, or seven of you). As soon as we get the chance, we'll stop there again!

16/07/2026: I stayed for a short while, just long enough to have a mint-flavored water... It was nice. Only one small drawback: €3.20 for the mint syrup (with tap water)... you'd think you were in Paris! All the best!

23/08/2026: Unprofessional service. This restaurant offers excellent cuisine, probably the best in Nevers. However, we were particularly surprised and disappointed by the behavior of the service staff. We arrived at 7:30 pm for dinner with friends. The waiter initially rushed us to choose our dishes quickly. Despite this somewhat unsettling atmosphere, we enjoyed an excellent dinner. Late in the evening, around 11:20 pm, the owner decided to encourage us to get up from the table by clattering dishes in the next room and, more importantly, by switching the lights on and off repeatedly, rather than simply saying a few words to us, which we would have perfectly understood. This is the first time we have witnessed such rude and inappropriate behavior in a restaurant of this caliber. In just a few minutes, this attitude clearly ruined our evening. We all agreed not to return to this establishment and not to recommend it to our friends in Nevers.

28/07/2026: It's always a pleasure to come here! We're never disappointed and always find something we love. The manager is incredibly kind and always knows how to cater to our needs. He also strikes the perfect balance between discretion and attentiveness; we can enjoy a private moment together, knowing he's always there and available. Whether it's the wine or the food, we're always delighted. Whenever I come to Nevers, I'm always happy to return to this little bar. If I could, I'd give it a 20/20! 😄

09/07/2026: A very warm welcome. We spent one night at the Gîte de la Table d'Elo, with room service for dinner and breakfast also provided. The room was very spacious. The meal and breakfast were both very good. I highly recommend it.

23/08/2026: This Saturday evening, August 22nd, my wife and I decided to discover this little restaurant, so typical of France, that we love... truly authentic! The cuisine is simple, excellent, varied, and generous, run by the owner, her son in the kitchen, and her husband behind the bar! The service is friendly; you quickly feel like you're dining among regulars! From one table to another, smiles and a few words are exchanged! If you're looking for a place without fuss, good food, and a warm welcome, come here with a reservation, as word is getting around! We'll definitely be back! TonTon Gwada!

21/08/2026: A wonderful discovery during our stop at the motorhome service area on our holiday route: delicious and expertly prepared cuisine. The dishes are generous and flavorful—a real treat. For the €22 evening menu, you get a starter (all-you-can-eat buffet!), a main course, cheese (a very nice platter), and dessert (homemade), as is everything else. In short, if you're passing through Moux, a stop is a must, and if you're nearby, don't hesitate to make a detour.

07/09/2026: By far the best kebab in Nevers. The fact that it's homemade is a real plus. The bread and the flatbreads are excellent. The meat is top quality, not greasy. From the first bite, our taste buds were awakened. It comes with homemade white sauce. The desserts are delicious, and the La Laitière ice cream is fantastic.

14/06/2026: We'll be back!!! A girls' trip to the Morvan region, seeking peace and beauty, led us to Camille and Simon's inn. Their hospitality (as well as that of Camille's mother and the young waitress 🙂) are among the most cherished memories we'll take home. Thank you for your kindness and smiles, and congratulations on the delicious meals we enjoyed at dinner. I'm giving the room 4 stars because it could perhaps use a little decorative touch. For now... but I'm sure Camille, the new owner, will add that extra bit of warmth it's missing. Congratulations to you all, and we wish you great success, which is already well underway.

13/06/2026: The inn is well located in a very quiet village in the Morvan region. The staff are welcoming. I had a pleasant stay.
