18/12/2025: Fatna welcomes us like family! The couscous we had last time was delicious, and tonight, the Pot au Feu was incredible—the meat was so tender, the best I've ever had! A little gem of a place in Lormes that you shouldn't miss!

24/02/2026: After a beautiful, long drive through the Morvan, we arrived at Jean Michel's in the evening. He's a kind, cheerful man who knows a lot about the area. After welcoming us, he showed us our room, and we enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant around the corner. That evening, we returned to the hotel refreshed and asked if we could have another drink. He first told us it was already too late and that the restaurant was actually closed. After a brief chat, he told us to sit down and served us the best wine, along with a delicious charcuterie plate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and at the end, we were given a tour of all the rooms and spaces. Hospitality at its finest!

22/12/2025: How can I put it? An exceptional place, even though it's currently under renovation. As for the owner's welcome, we loved it! Very kind, interesting, and attentive. And the breakfast was simply delicious. We will definitely be back. Charente-Maritime

03/03/2026: Frankly disappointed. No appetizers were offered beforehand. We're in France and appreciate good food. The starter wasn't too bad until we tasted the mozzarella, which was clearly spoiled (watery and sharp), so it was awful. I hope I don't get sick. The meat was good and cooked perfectly, except that with the linguine on the side, you need a large spoon to eat it, which isn't the case here. The sauce was too runny and tasteless. We expressed our dissatisfaction after paying. We won't be back and certainly don't recommend it.

11/10/2025: A little disappointed by the menu, which was ultimately very poor and on which two of the interesting items were ultimately not available, replaced by another dish at an additional cost... Atmosphere without much charm... we were hoping for better

21/09/2025: The atmosphere and decor are in their original state, but let's move on... As for the wines, the wines are served without tasting... at least in principle, Burgundy after all! For starters, the salmon opera resembles what you might find at Flunch. Okay, I'm pushing it a bit, but it's disappointing... a tiny piece of salmon placed on a cheese mousse... meh... The egg moeurette sauce (typical Burgundy!) lacked strength, according to my friends too. The pikeperch fillet, overcooked and therefore dry for everyone, was also disappointing... the sides were basic, white rice not even seasoned. Blueberry tart... if you're expecting what you can find in the Alps... forget it! It's a shame because there were so many positive reviews, so maybe we just got the wrong one... but the food was very "old school" in the end. We pointed these little things out to the waitress when clearing away, and there was no small gesture or digestif offered despite the bill being over €400. The politeness was also very limited; we felt like we were bothering someone by asking for a bill.

20/11/2025: While passing through for All Saints' Day, we discovered this very pleasant establishment. I recommend the baked egg with raclette and the excellent fish and chips; the ravioli were also very good.

18/11/2025: Upon our arrival, the owner was very kind. However, the same cannot be said of the waitress; she didn't smile at all and forgot the bread. We felt like she was just too busy with her job. We won't be returning because of her!
