08/07/2026: We used to come every year… unfortunately, this year the quality isn't there anymore… the stuffed tomato and zucchini were undercooked, the warm and welcoming atmosphere is gone, and the quality, for a restaurant of this caliber, is no longer justified. We're very disappointed.

25/07/2026: An impromptu stop during a stroll turned into a wonderful discovery. This restaurant is a true gem. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable. A huge thank you to the young waitress, remarkably professional, always smiling, attentive, and caring. As for the menu, it offers an excellent selection of dishes, all prepared with care. The plates are as beautiful as they are delicious, featuring quality ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. An address we recommend without hesitation and where we will gladly return.

23/05/2026: We went to L'Atelier du Goût last night and received a very warm welcome. We sat on the terrace, which was lovely, calm, and friendly. We simply chatted with the people at the next table, even though we didn't know them, which was very nice 😁 And the hamburger I chose was amazing! Very generous and delicious 😋🤤 We'll be back very soon.

26/04/2026: We had a great time at L’atelier du goût in Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier. We ate burgers and hot dogs, which were well-presented and generously portioned. The steaks were very good, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. We had a lovely time and I highly recommend it.

28/06/2026: Small room, no air conditioning, unbearably hot, breakfast for 8 euros with not much choice, a croissant that was probably frozen, which arrived hot and crumbled, carpet everywhere even in the rooms, there's nothing better for germs.

30/01/2026: A real gem! I had lunch at this restaurant today and honestly… the best value for money I've ever had. The €18 set menu (starter/main/dessert) was perfect. For a team of only three, the service was incredibly fast, super well-organized, and always with a smile. You can feel the warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. As for the food, nothing to complain about: top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared. The leg of lamb literally melted in your mouth, a real treat, and the tiramisu for dessert was simply divine. The chef is clearly top-notch, incredibly skilled, and it shows in the food. Special mention to the team: • The server is lovely, smiling, and incredibly welcoming, • The guy behind the bar is as kind as can be, • and the kitchen is run by someone truly talented. The dining room is spacious and attractive, the tables are well-set, and you really feel comfortable there. Another big plus: parking right next to the restaurant, so parking is easy and stress-free. In short, a restaurant where everything comes together: quality, price, atmosphere, and service. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

09/04/2026: High-quality cuisine featuring excellent seasonal produce, in a unique setting: a traditional farmhouse with a wood-burning stove. If you're lucky enough to dine in the garden, you'll be serenaded by birdsong. A truly enchanting experience. It's worth noting that the only person who greets you is also the chef and server. The meal is beautifully presented and delicious. Reservations are essential, as there are only a few tables.

12/06/2026: We arrived by sidecar for one night. Secure parking is available for motorcycles/bicycles. The staff is fantastic and incredibly friendly. The restaurant offers a good selection of food. Definitely a spot not to be missed during a stay in the Morvan region.

20/05/2026: A pleasant and relaxing stay. Peaceful and comfortable. Professional and attentive staff. Highly recommended hotel.

17/05/2026: A really nice hotel with a lovely view of the river and the town bridge. The outside could do with a bit of tlc as the property occupies quite a prominent position, but it's a small point. I can't comment on the bar or the food as we didn't use or have either.

05/07/2026: A very warm welcome; although they didn't serve dinner, we were still treated to homemade snacks...toasted sandwiches, salad, etc. Excellent, I highly recommend it.

28/05/2026: Not a flattened French café with fluorescent lights, but a cozy café with a wide variety of drinks and lunch in the afternoon; it used to be located by the water, hence the name.

12/07/2026: Closed. Don't mention it on Google: probably too complicated. Don't mention it on the answering machine either. Driving 100 kilometers for nothing will make me renew my bill every month until next year.

02/07/2026: After being tempted by all the positive reviews, we ended up with fries that weren't homemade and bread that was either day-old or very early that morning. Not to mention the rather bland apple tart (or crumble?). And to top it all off, the cook wasn't wearing a hairnet in the kitchen... I'll be avoiding this place from now on. BUT, regarding the value for money, I have no complaints. Nor do I have any about the lady who ran the inn; she was very welcoming and kind.

06/08/2026: Excellent value for money. If you order a salad, they're delicious. The double salad is very generous. A single salad is already a decent meal. The whipped cream and chocolate are homemade. Very welcoming staff.
