12/08/2024: While passing through the region, we had lunch at 11 in this restaurant... On arrival a little surprised by the decor... Old objects, piano... It's very atypical but we loved it. Fatna delighted us. She did the cooking and serving alone, her husband being absent. Excellent starter, delicious and very hearty main course. It was a treat... There were 11 of us but Fatna served us as if there were 20... No choice of menu but it doesn't matter, Fatna will cook you a feast with the products of the day. She is very pleasant, funny and helpful... I highly recommend this little restaurant... Really low price for everything we ate. We will come back with pleasure.

24/09/2024: Excellent pizzeria which has an incredible choice of pizzas. The pizzas are well garnished for a fair price. They can be taken away but if the weather permits you can enjoy them on the banks of the Loire or in the nearby park. Parking is easy in the side lane for those who take them home. If you want an excellent pizza to take away, go see the pizza maker at El Ponte pizza, it's a safe bet.

13/05/2024: A first for me and frankly I will come back when I am in the area. I was won over. The pizzas are well garnished and I have a weakness for homemade tiramisus (speculos) Looking forward to it

18/09/2024: Just a post to relate an important fact and elicit a reaction from management: this day, I am showing up with my 78-year-old mother to spend some time in a place chosen by her and where we go regularly with pleasure. Upon arrival, the waiter whom we do not know: coldly announces that I have no more room. Wait... he comes back and shows us a nearby tablet where there are already people and leaves without explanation. At this late hour and seeing several empty boxes of 4 I understand that he does not want to give us this place. I told my mother, given this lack of consideration, I refuse to eat here in these conditions. The server arrives again with other clients…. I tell him you have nothing else to offer us... he says no. Ok we are leaving…. He responds “go”…. This is how he receives a son and his 78 year old mother….. at 12:45 p.m. being in two places ready these days is a guarantee of quality and reputation. I regret because we like this restaurant and the usually friendly staff but here we came across the wrong one….this kind of person must work in a factory alone and not be in contact with the public…. For management, be careful about the people you hire at the risk of losing customers….

19/08/2024: The meal had started well. The products are homemade. Unfortunately, my lost brioche is burnt and hidden so that it cannot be seen. Mixed. Coffee was offered to us as an apology.

15/09/2024: Very professional service, friendly staff. The only downside (à la carte menu not of the day) I expected more elaborate for the starter and the main course given the price. You should not expect semi-gastronomic in the taste but much like a bistro despite a very nice presentation and atmosphere. We will return there but I think more for a daily menu which is much more affordable.

05/09/2024: Very friendly welcome and very pleasant waiter. On the other hand, the boss who is a cook only comes to see people he knows, the other customers he doesn't care. Everything was very good except the fish which was overcooked. Despite my words, the cook doesn't care. I should have refused this dish but I'm too polite to do that. I still recommend it. This only involves myself.

09/08/2024: A huge pleasant surprise. An impromptu break in this restaurant where we liked everything. The map is simple but effective. Meals on the terrace. Efficient service.

31/07/2024: En rentrant dans le restaurant, nous avons failli faire demi-tour : non seulement il faisait très sombre - à se demander si le personnel ne savait pas encore s'il allait ouvrir ce soir... -, mais une puanteur de tabac nous a pris à la gorge (alors qu'il est indiqué à l'entrée qu'il est interdit de fumer - apparemment, l'interdiction ne vaut pas pour ceux qui sont déjà dedans...). La déco aux couleurs d'enterrement ne favorise pas non plus la joie et le plaisir d'y manger. Les moules n'ayant pas été livrées, tout le monde a pris une entrecôte ou un onglet. L'onglet à l'échalote servi sans sauce m'a laissé perplexe. Les frites étaient un peu trop grasses, mais de qualité supérieure à la moyenne en France.
