30/01/2026: A real gem! I had lunch at this restaurant today and honestly… the best value for money I've ever had. The €18 set menu (starter/main/dessert) was perfect. For a team of only three, the service was incredibly fast, super well-organized, and always with a smile. You can feel the warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. As for the food, nothing to complain about: top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared. The leg of lamb literally melted in your mouth, a real treat, and the tiramisu for dessert was simply divine. The chef is clearly top-notch, incredibly skilled, and it shows in the food. Special mention to the team: • The server is lovely, smiling, and incredibly welcoming, • The guy behind the bar is as kind as can be, • and the kitchen is run by someone truly talented. The dining room is spacious and attractive, the tables are well-set, and you really feel comfortable there. Another big plus: parking right next to the restaurant, so parking is easy and stress-free. In short, a restaurant where everything comes together: quality, price, atmosphere, and service. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

23/01/2026: On rugby days, we come to this restaurant and we're never disappointed. The quality of the service and the food is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and the menu is very reasonably priced. The owners are also very friendly. For several seasons now, the quality and service have been consistently high.

02/12/2025: So, it's complicated, and that's putting it mildly, because their pizzas are very good, but that's about it. If you ask them to cut your pizza, there's a fifty-fifty chance they won't, and getting delivery is complicated too; they'll practically ask you to come to them, and if you say no, they'll deliver anyway. Plus, the delivery driver isn't even aware of the prices at the pizzeria they work for. 🤨

01/02/2026: A wonderful experience this Sunday, both the food and the service were excellent. The wines were good. We were a lovely group of 14. The service was quick and seamless. The setting is very pleasant with its view of the Loire. It must be even better during the warmer months! Thank you to the chef and his entire team. Everyone loved it!

22/12/2025: A stop on the N7 between Normandy and the Drôme. The rooms are perfect (walk-in shower with small, non-slip tiles). Delicious dinner combining tradition and creativity in a room overlooking the Loire. I highly recommend it.

15/02/2026: A great little place for the town of Château-Chinon. We had the Plat du jour, which was simple but quite tasty, especially for the price. The furniture needs replacing, though—damaged chairs, etc. But otherwise, it's fine!

30/11/2025: Tried it at the end of November 2025 with my family for our birthdays. What a wonderful discovery! Attentive service, lovely decor, comfortable seating and tables, background music, generous and comforting cuisine, with the chef even checking on us to make sure everything was alright (you just don't see that anymore!). Excellent food! Wines at very reasonable prices. In short, we'll be back with great pleasure ❤ Thank you for this lovely time!

The chef is always happy to explain everything and makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is understated yet welcoming. The quality wines are beautifully presented. High-quality local produce is used. A must-try.

21/02/2026: The welcome was fantastic in a discreet and quiet room at the back. The food was magnificent; we ate our fill and got our money's worth (we had the tagine, which I highly recommend)! The very welcoming staff even gave some tagine to our dog. The chef was able to adapt the dish for someone with dietary restrictions due to allergies, making for an excellent overall experience.
