08/09/2024: It's a restaurant that I discovered yesterday, but my godson knew. The staff were very pleasant, they put absolutely no pressure on us to order while my niece who was bringing her mother for a birthday surprise took 45 minutes to arrive. I had a trio of Welsh goat's cheese, cheddar and maroilles. And for dessert the gourmet coffee which consisted of a slice of hot brioche, a scoop of lemon ice cream, on the other hand the fruit flan was much less appealing to me. I should have taken photos to publish them for you but I didn't think of it, it's a shame I'm not yet sufficiently used to it.

This place doesn’t just serve Italian food—it serves Sicilian soul on a plate. One bite and you’re practically on a sun-drenched piazza in Palermo, dodging Vespas and wondering how you ever lived without caponata. Eat in or take it to go—either way, it’s like your taste buds just got upgraded to business class. The dishes are so authentic, you half expect someone’s nonna to come out of the kitchen and scold you for not finishing your plate. And the ingredients? Fresher than your cousin’s new haircut before a wedding. Every tomato, every olive, every drizzle of olive oil is basically a love letter from the Mediterranean.

14/08/2024: Excellent welcome, welcoming and clean place The cuisine is homemade, the sauces, fries etc. I also had a flank steak with homemade garlic sauce. And a homemade maroilles sauce on the side as well This is the first time I've eaten my entire plate! Really excellent

I am in Antibes and I took advantage of my visit to the family to come and have lunch with my friend, his wife and my other half. I asked my friend if he knew a good restaurant in Valenciennes and he took me to YOU. I have fond memories of it and can't wait to come back and enjoy your dishes. I don't know if you are the same owners, but I don't forget that you offered me the digestives (Pear) and that made me happy, it's so rare now. I also learned that you had suffered a fire. I hope everything is back to normal for you. I tell you and hope to see you soon.

28/08/2024: It is a beautiful establishment with professional and pleasant staff. But, as for the cuisine, a little disappointed. Lack of flavor for certain dishes.

04/10/2024: Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le restaurateur est très proche du client et à son écoute. Le repas était très bon. Les clients se sentent à l'aise. Merci pour les explications concernant le menu à scanner. Le repas s'est déroulé dans une ambiance reposante. A découvrir pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas.

21/09/2024: Changement d'équipe, de carte, et de concept... On n'est plus dans la gastronomie mais plutôt dans le petit bistrot qui essaie de bien faire les choses. Carte orientée viande. Ce que nous avons mangé était bon et correctement préparé mais une seule personne pour gérer un restaurant ( cuisine et salle ) est-ce bien raisonnable ? le temps d'attente à la prise de commande s'est avéré très ( trop ) long. Bouteille de champagne servie sans le faire goûter et déposée sur la table... sans seau à glace... Idem pour le vin rouge servi sans faire déguster... Entrée escargots un peu trop chiche.... Burger à la viande bien cuite mais avec un cheddar non fondu ( un pti coup sous la salamandre aurait réglé cela ) Un seul dessert disponible... Choix de vins ultra réduit... Beaucoup de manquements et chef dépassé que nous espérons voir se corriger très vite... sinon ...

21/08/2024: Je ne mets pas souvent 5/5 mais je n'ai rien à redire... Restaurant pas à la portée de toutes les bourses mais une régalade du début à la fin. Ambiance tamisée agréable, personnel au top, patron très sympathique, entrées, plats, desserts excellents pour une moyenne de 70€ par personne, nous avons passé un très bon moment. A refaire.
