10/08/2024: Hello, I came to have lunch with you in 2022, because I haven't lived in the North for a long time. I am in Antibes and I took advantage of my visit to the family to come and have lunch with my friend, his wife and my other half. I asked my friend if he knew a good restaurant in Valenciennes and he took me to YOU. I have fond memories of it and can't wait to come back and enjoy your dishes. I don't know if you are the same owners, but I don't forget that you offered me the digestives (Pear) and that made me happy, it's so rare now. I also learned that you had suffered a fire. I hope everything is back to normal for you. I tell you and hope to see you soon.

09/09/2024: I ate mussels and fries, I would have preferred to have my maroilles sauce on top of the mussels or on the side. But it was good and the staff were friendly, plus the price was very reasonable. I recommend!

08/09/2024: It's a restaurant that I discovered yesterday, but my godson knew. The staff were very pleasant, they put absolutely no pressure on us to order while my niece who was bringing her mother for a birthday surprise took 45 minutes to arrive. I had a trio of Welsh goat's cheese, cheddar and maroilles. And for dessert the gourmet coffee which consisted of a slice of hot brioche, a scoop of lemon ice cream, on the other hand the fruit flan was much less appealing to me. I should have taken photos to publish them for you but I didn't think of it, it's a shame I'm not yet sufficiently used to it.

17/07/2024: Nice workers but the food was average for my taste. Also they did not have the goat cheese for my first aperative choice, so i had to choose another one, which was surprisingly good, egg with melted cheese. However the aubergine plate was not that good, even though it was a huge plate. I could have enjoyed it better if the bread was a little more fresh. Also the fries were not that good.

14/07/2024: Super cosy atmosphere with a wide selection of coffees, drinks, cakes and lunches. Great for comfort food and for ladies looking for a tea room!

01/09/2024: The pizza was delicious, spicy as I like it. The staff is very pleasant, professional and the atmosphere was very friendly. I recommend without problem!

21/08/2024: Je ne mets pas souvent 5/5 mais je n'ai rien à redire... Restaurant pas à la portée de toutes les bourses mais une régalade du début à la fin. Ambiance tamisée agréable, personnel au top, patron très sympathique, entrées, plats, desserts excellents pour une moyenne de 70€ par personne, nous avons passé un très bon moment. A refaire.

04/10/2024: Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le restaurateur est très proche du client et à son écoute. Le repas était très bon. Les clients se sentent à l'aise. Merci pour les explications concernant le menu à scanner. Le repas s'est déroulé dans une ambiance reposante. A découvrir pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas.

21/09/2024: Changement d'équipe, de carte, et de concept... On n'est plus dans la gastronomie mais plutôt dans le petit bistrot qui essaie de bien faire les choses. Carte orientée viande. Ce que nous avons mangé était bon et correctement préparé mais une seule personne pour gérer un restaurant ( cuisine et salle ) est-ce bien raisonnable ? le temps d'attente à la prise de commande s'est avéré très ( trop ) long. Bouteille de champagne servie sans le faire goûter et déposée sur la table... sans seau à glace... Idem pour le vin rouge servi sans faire déguster... Entrée escargots un peu trop chiche.... Burger à la viande bien cuite mais avec un cheddar non fondu ( un pti coup sous la salamandre aurait réglé cela ) Un seul dessert disponible... Choix de vins ultra réduit... Beaucoup de manquements et chef dépassé que nous espérons voir se corriger très vite... sinon ...

13/09/2024: Very private restaurant in a quiet place with the possibility of parking right in front. I was struck by the hospitality of the house. All very tasty and spicy. When you order couscous I recommend that you always choose a little because it will arrive in large quantities. The lady at the restaurant was very kind in fact, putting everything that was left over from dinner (meat, bread, salad and soup) in a box for me to take away which I ate the next day and reheated it and it was just as good. like the night before I ate in the restaurant. I will definitely be back!! Compliments!

10/09/2024: It is a place full of charm and very well decorated, the staff is smiling and warm. The R room that we booked is very pretty despite the bathroom being a little small and with problems with the taps... but this is completely normal given the historic location. The mattress is a little uncomfortable but above all there is a big problem with soundproofing, however the place is magical and for 4 days it suited us. The catering is of high quality and the dishes are presented in beautiful crockery and the place is always just as magical too. Very happy with our stay.

22/08/2024: The service is very attentive and the food is really good, duck breast with these little vegetables and a puree, followed by a waffle for dessert with whipped chocolate compote... a treat The terrace is magnificent, you feel in a hidden cocoon Really nice place I will go back

11/09/2024: Je me demande si il y avait un cuisinier en cuisine, j'ai mangé une escalope aux aubergines, elles n'étaient pas du tout cuites et sans goût, je l'ai signalé à la serveuse puis à la caisse ce qui n'a pas semblé choquer personne. Je mange dans ce restaurant depuis des années mais je ne pense plus y retourner !
