29/08/2026: My daughter wasn’t sure when we arrived as we were the first in the restaurant, but as the food arrived and the restaurant filled up it was a great experience. The chef made my daughter a special pizza that wasn’t on the menu that she loved and all the other meals were great quality. I would highly recommend this place for an evening meal with family.

13/08/2026: I find the store quite pleasant. The staff aren't overly friendly, but what supermarket chain has super-friendly staff? For me, a pleasant store is one where you can find your way around quickly and easily find the products you're looking for. So, Super U Alençon is pleasant, in my opinion. I just have one question: why put a "buy two, get one free" pack (see photos) at the end of the aisle when it's significantly more expensive than buying it individually? Thank you for your answer.

07/08/2026: We were looking for a restaurant offering dishes that were out of the ordinary, and that's exactly what we found! Beautifully presented plates, good quality ingredients, and a pleasant terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed it. My favorites were the strawberry soup and the basil sorbet. I highly recommend it!

08/07/2026: On a motorcycle trip with 12 people, we had booked a restaurant for 12:45 PM. We were offered the option to choose our menus in advance to facilitate service. We all ordered our meals on Friday for a Sunday reservation. We were seated at 12:50 PM, the aperitifs were served at 1:20 PM, and the main courses an hour later. We left the restaurant at 3:40 PM. We had planned to explore the city after the meal, but that wasn't possible. The service was extremely slow. There were four servers, but only one seemed truly engaged. The food was good…thankfully.

21/07/2026: Passing through this beautiful region, we enjoyed a delicious meal of very fresh and generous seafood, with pleasant service. The only slightly annoying drawback was that the young waiter kept petting a dog during service. Overall, a very enjoyable time.

23/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at Café de L’Équerre during our getaway to Normandy. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff friendly, and the lunch was delicious and well-served. We highly recommend this place for a romantic break.

11/08/2026: No, you're thirsty, you want a quiet place. Well, don't go there. You signal to the owner, he looks at you, smiles broadly, and leaves. After 20 minutes, no one comes to check on you. The only solution is to leave. Very unpleasant.

11/08/2026: Passing through L'Aigle on market day, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Unfortunately, despite two waiters glancing at our table several times and even waving their hands, we were completely ignored.

13/07/2026: Don't go there if you have children. The owner is unfriendly, didn't even greet us. He became aggressive because our stroller was parked incorrectly. We deliberately parked in a secluded spot where no one else was, but apparently that still bothered him. Please put up a "No Children Allowed" sign at the entrance; it would make things easier for everyone.

13/07/2026: What can I say? The manager's disrespect and condescension were beyond belief. To explain my experience, I'd already been there once before, in 2023 (it was the same manager). We bought around €200 worth of cigarettes and lottery tickets. Having some health issues, I needed to use the restroom. The manager told me, in a nasty and condescending tone, that I hadn't consumed anything and therefore didn't have the right to go. Today, July 13, 2026, I went back to Bagnoles, stopped at the tobacconist, and again spent around €200 on cigarettes and lottery tickets. Someone in our group felt unwell and went to the restroom. And the whole thing started again. I hope this manager is treated the way he treats other customers. Being the manager of an establishment doesn't give anyone the right to be condescending, disrespectful, and gratuitously mean. And believe me, I weighed my words carefully because my anger is beyond words.
