25/04/2026: Our order was incomplete, we pointed it out, but the young man didn't understand. We had to show him the receipt. The radio was loud in the restaurant. The restaurant doors could use some grease.
It's okay, I guess, considering the prices elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the friendliness of the hostesses doesn't make up for the poor quality of the pastries.
06/03/2026: I came this afternoon for a snack, but the place was dirty and the tables hadn't been cleaned. The employees were just waiting for customers instead of doing even the bare minimum of cleaning! It really doesn't make you want to stop and eat there!

09/04/2026: We came just for a drink on the terrace. We asked for a fruit beer. The waiter told us they had Leffe Ruby.
When the beer was served, I pointed out to the waiter that the glass wasn't a Leffe Ruby (see photo if I manage to post it, for those in the know...). He told me to ask the owner when I paid.
When I mentioned it at the checkout, the owner told me she had the recipe to make it herself in several flavors (I didn't know such nonsense could be invented). She confirmed this and charged us 4 euros for the so-called Leffe Ruby, which was actually a very basic beer with just a tiny bit of syrup.
Furthermore, a dog had urinated on the floor in the restaurant. It really doesn't leave a good impression.
31/03/2026: Great restaurant, I go there as a tradesman on my lunch break and the welcome is great, as well as the prices are reasonable, which is becoming rare in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne... I recommend it without hesitation!

17/03/2026: Excellent local cuisine made with fresh ingredients; we enjoyed the roasted Camembert and the burger, both delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient.
12/02/2026: I've rarely seen such a meager breakfast buffet. The bread was stale, the coffee was rationed, and there was no one to even refill a bottle of water.
The rooms are very outdated; only the mattress is decent. It's not good value for money.

01/02/2026: A family dinner where we were cold, and the waiter was unprofessional (no offer of an aperitif to start, barely had time to look at the menus before he was already at our table taking our orders, he dumped the plates haphazardly on the table, neglecting to serve the women before me, we witnessed an argument between him and one of his colleagues in the kitchen...). In short, not very professional. There was no hot chocolate with the dessert as indicated on the menu. It had been a few years since I had eaten at this establishment and we were very disappointed.

11/04/2026: An unforgettable and incredibly relaxing experience!
I came to recharge and enjoy the tranquility of the Villeray estate, and I was completely won over.
The entire staff was incredibly attentive, and the room was spacious and well-heated.
The spa lived up to expectations: excellent massage services and a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
Not to mention the restaurant: very warm service and delicious, homemade dishes.
The grounds are well-maintained, expansive, and lush.
Please note that the spa is located next to the château: if you are staying at the Moulin, you will need a car to get to the spa (it's only a 2-minute drive). Otherwise, the staff is very accommodating and can even drive you there if walking isn't an option.
09/04/2026: The setting is peaceful and charming, but the building is dilapidated. It's practically run-down, with a bridge under maintenance and wobbly. The owner's welcome was cold, bordering on contemptuous. After we voiced our concerns, we noticed a change in tone, but it still reeked of insincerity. The prices are exorbitant; we spent €600 in total, which was far, far below the standard and quality one would normally expect for that price. Furthermore, the menu prices are misleading, as half the dishes have supplements (some as high as €18). As for breakfast (€24 each), four mini pastries and a piece of bread were a pitiful offering! In short, we were ripped off! Avoid this place at all costs!

The downside...Superb shower...but beware for couples...no more hot water after 4 minutes.
(Couples...quick to cuddle 😁).
I've never seen anything like it in a hotel...
[I'm at a second home...stayed in a hotel suite during renovations and a water outage].
Wait until the next day...probably heated on the night rate...🤨, impossible for 4 people to shower.🤨
No food service on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday.
These are the days when hotels and restaurants are busiest...go figure 🤨.
I'm giving it 1 star...the reception on the phone!!! I've never seen remarks like that when asking for information...I stay in hotels often...I've never seen anything like it!!! We're bothering her 🤣
