30/10/2025: Great concept, generous portions, and delicious! A second review with a photo this time—still just as good! The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the food is cooked to perfection! I recommend it 200%!

13/07/2026: What can I say? The manager's disrespect and condescension were beyond belief. To explain my experience, I'd already been there once before, in 2023 (it was the same manager). We bought around €200 worth of cigarettes and lottery tickets. Having some health issues, I needed to use the restroom. The manager told me, in a nasty and condescending tone, that I hadn't consumed anything and therefore didn't have the right to go. Today, July 13, 2026, I went back to Bagnoles, stopped at the tobacconist, and again spent around €200 on cigarettes and lottery tickets. Someone in our group felt unwell and went to the restroom. And the whole thing started again. I hope this manager is treated the way he treats other customers. Being the manager of an establishment doesn't give anyone the right to be condescending, disrespectful, and gratuitously mean. And believe me, I weighed my words carefully because my anger is beyond words.

13/07/2026: Don't go there if you have children. The owner is unfriendly, didn't even greet us. He became aggressive because our stroller was parked incorrectly. We deliberately parked in a secluded spot where no one else was, but apparently that still bothered him. Please put up a "No Children Allowed" sign at the entrance; it would make things easier for everyone.

01/03/2026: The hotel is very well located, with parking, a decent room for the price, and a comfortable mattress. It was very quiet. Breakfast was simple. The welcome was very warm. Dinner at the hotel restaurant in the evening was also very pleasant, with delicious dishes.

09/08/2026: We sat down on the terrace for a drink... we wanted to extend it with a meal... but there wasn't time, one of our two tables was taken: "Some customers want a table and you've finished your drink..."

08/08/2026: Nice terrace in the center of Vimoutiers. It's a shame that the lemon slice, barely 2 mm in diameter (I'm being generous), was brought with a smile, saying, "That'll be 50 cents more, sir." I'm not usually one to complain, but that was ridiculous! 😆🍋

03/06/2026: A really awful hotel, run by unfriendly and agressive people. I was forced to stay here as the better hotels were booked out. The tiny bathroom was flithy. The bed did not have fitted sheets, so i ended up sleeping on a dirty mattress. The older woman at reception could not have been more unpleasant. Read the other reviews - they all say the bathrooms are discgusting and the staff awfuil - just read the rude aggressive replies to some ofthe reviews. Avoid at all costs.

11/05/2026: Hello. We highly recommend Les Camélias. It's a great place to visit Bagnols-de-l'Orne, near the casino lake, and for cycling and hiking. We had a very relaxing stay. The food is truly worth the trip; it's delicious. The young apprentices are in excellent training, in this welcoming setting, and with a wonderful hostess. Annie Guéville

18/05/2026: A warm welcome, comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast.

10/04/2026: Beautiful location, lovely well-maintained garden, super friendly welcome. Extra cushions available upon request. Small table and chairs available by the garden room. Our small dog was certainly welcome too.

07/06/2026: A frosty welcome. They refused the restaurant card without explanation. They'll be nice only when they're busy taking cash, otherwise, forget it.

28/07/2026: Very average due to frequent errors in drive-thru orders. Inside, speed takes precedence over quality. It's not uncommon to find sandwiches jumbled up in the boxes. I hope this will be addressed. Update 14/01/24 More and more errors. Either you don't know your sandwiches, or some people can't read the orders on their screens. However, there's never been an error on the bill. Update 07/06/24 A new management team seems to be taking over, trying to resolve the old problems. Time will tell.

28/07/2026: Nothing to report, clean, efficient

12/07/2026: Very disappointed by the croissants, which arrived completely flat and crumbly despite standard shipping. When I got to the display case, I had no desire to buy the pain au chocolat, which appeared to have either not risen at all or were very small. The croissants had absolutely no flavor, even worse than those from Marie Blachère. It's not good to lower the quality by using low-grade ingredients while maintaining high prices. Is there a change of ownership? Anyway, I had to apologize to my colleagues by offering them the pastries. Never again.

26/04/2026: A message to management Aren't you ashamed to sell such MEDIOCRE sandwiches to your customers (especially blue-collar workers)? There's a huge amount of salad, and that's it—very dry and with very little filling, like chicken, for example. I have a question for you! When you buy a sandwich, do you think it's normal to have to go to the Carrefour Market near you to get mayonnaise because your sandwich is so poorly made?! I buy several a week and I've never complained, but enough is enough. At the price we pay, the salad pack is quickly worth it. I'll try again if there are no changes. Bye! It's a shame because everything else is perfect—the bread and cake are great. Over to you!

17/07/2026: Great pizzeria! A must-visit on every one of our stays in Mortagne.

30/06/2026: Shameful! We waited an hour for just one pizza and two plates of pasta, even though they told us it would only take 20 minutes. Everyone else was waiting. If you can't serve on time, you need to hire more staff. Yes, it costs more, but it's really unacceptable to make your customers wait like that.

27/07/2026: Order placed on Friday for click and collect… Unfortunately, I didn't check, and when I got home, the desserts were missing. On the plus side, I called the manager, and she offered me some solutions.

20/07/2026: The McDonald's was disgusting, cleaning is a thing, it's sickening when you walk in, half-cold fries and a hamburger, the atmosphere wasn't great, we were like zombies, barely even said goodbye. And the burgers were badly made, everything was scattered everywhere. And we didn't even get a napkin!

06/08/2026: We've been three times: the first two times were rather unpleasant, though with some good points, but the last time was terrible. We called to reserve (because we had a long drive), and when we arrived, the table wasn't really available anymore; we ended up on the terrace in overcast weather, with wind and a few drops of rain (3 adults, 4 children). The worst part, by far, was the waiter's attitude. He was an unpleasant and condescending man. Given the number of positive reviews, perhaps the waiters' attitude is determined by their appearance, their age, the presence of children, or some other mysterious reason. There was palpable and poorly managed pressure throughout the entire service, not to mention the staff's comments, who were afraid our children would fall down the stairs, and so on. Avoid this place.
