28/07/2026: We were referred from Campanile Alençon. It is within walking distance of the hotel. From the outside, the building doesn't look particularly inviting, but it is a spacious, pleasant, and tidy establishment. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly by several staff members. The service was also very pleasant and efficient. We received our drinks and meal quickly. We paid about 50 euros for a virgin Moscow Mule, Rigatoni Burrata, a pizza, and a cocktail. Everything was freshly prepared, very tasty, and the portions were more than sufficient.

25/07/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, delicious food. Excellent local and organic ingredients. A smaller menu during the week (but not on weekends), which is often a sign of quality! Special mention for exceptionally adapting some dishes for someone with a lactose allergy – thank you again!

14/05/2026: Searched the town for a lunch venue, but most were serving 3 course set meals (on a public holiday). Had a very nice galette in here (choice of 8). Quick and friendly service.

08/05/2026: A superb place with a simple yet excellent menu. The atmosphere is fantastic and reminds me of roadside diners. We enjoyed a very good calf's head (a Thursday specialty). The service is top-notch and the price is extremely reasonable these days. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful time.

14/06/2026: We'll be returning to this place very soon for another weekend getaway because we loved everything about it. The hotel, the food, the location, and of course, the staff. A bonus is that pets are allowed. Parking is easy, and the Montligeon Basilica is a masterpiece nearby. I highly recommend it.

The new owner is incredibly attentive to her customers, quite the opposite of the new boss, who's a real magician (behind the bar when it's empty, and then poof, he disappears as soon as it's full 🧞‍♂️🧙🏻‍♂️). He was more interested in chatting with his friends than addressing his customers' problems (at least during my visit). Perhaps I was just unlucky, judging by the other reviews. Thank goodness the owner is there... If we come back, it will only be thanks to her. Thank you, Ms. Strike! 😊
