22/08/2024: It is the former miners' canteen (closed in 1970) hence its name! The chef has been working here for over 30 years. Suffice to say that the mastery is there, mixing touches of modernism and anchoring in tradition. Great experience!

20/11/2024: Imaginez un lieu au calme, au milieu des champs et à proximité d'un étang. Imaginez un restaurant dont la salle est très agréable avec sa grande hauteur sous plafond et sa décoration champêtre. Imaginez un accueil souriant et accueillant. Imaginez une très bonne cuisine bistronome, à prix modérés. Tout ceci existe dans ce restaurant que nous découvrons et qui mérite très largement sa place dans tous les guides ( Michelin, Fooding, ...). Bravo à toute l'équipe, vous devez faire beaucoup d'heureux !

11/11/2024: Cenamos en este restaurante hace unos años, antes del Covid. Se trataba de una recomendación casual, ya que uno de los favoritos a media hora de distancia había cerrado debido a la jubilación. Todo un poco de prisa, pero estábamos decididos a volver. Me alegro de que lo hiciéramos. En primer lugar, el entorno es encantador. Pasamos la noche en Mortagne - au - Perche y caminamos hacia abajo en el crepúsculo. Esto fue encantador, pero si alguien nos copia debe estar preparado para caminar de vuelta en la oscuridad. Entre mi francés bastante oxidado y escolar y el inglés del personal nos las arreglamos. Magret de Canard puede ser un plato sencillo, pero era perfecto. Inusualmente, no me molestan especialmente los dulces, el plato de pera fue memorable. Este es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en Francia. Ahora debemos planear un viaje de regreso. Encantador entorno, personal servicial y un nivel de cocina muy alto.

15/12/2024: Came to Center Parcs for the weekend, one of the only restaurants open on Sunday evening. A real treat, a very good atmosphere, an excellent cook, Gwenaël and an excellent waiter. This restaurant is definitely worth the detour. Around €50 per person if menu at 40 euros and a cocktail. We ended our stay in style. Thank you very much and congratulations!

23/09/2024: My son and I were stranded in this unpretentious bar. a bit of sunshine blown away by a cold wind which already announced autumn... and a terrace, a glass of cider, a delicious board and a smiling waitress, pretty, friendly, full of humor, a very pleasant moment.

20/09/2024: What a disappointment! This place has lost all its soul. While passing through Saint Céneri, I hoped to find the person in charge from last year who had spoken to us with passion about her commune. We were very well received in this place. And it is with great pleasure that we wanted to spend the first week of September again. We had a cold welcome, we really had the impression of disturbing the lady who served us.
