08/07/2026: A wonderful hotel. Received with great courtesy. Room spotless and beautifully furnished. Bed the most comfortable in France. Bathroom modern and bright. Elegant restaurant, with a fine menu served in style by smiling staff. Breakfast varied and excellent. Our Italian dog was petted by enthusiastic staff, and definitely wants to return. So do we

26/05/2026: This hotel is a full of charm and character the fireplace in the restaurant is amazing. The bar area is warm and inviting, with a great choice of beers, and the restaurant is absolutely outstanding. The food was exceptional fresh, full of flavour and clearly made with high-quality locally sourced ingredients, which really made a difference. Olliver is an exceptional host and genuinely makes the whole experience memorable. Friendly, welcoming and incredibly engaging. After dinner, he even joined us with a bottle of wine, which created such a relaxed and personal atmosphere and really summed up the hospitality of the hotel. His excellent English also makes everything effortless. Great value for money is superb, we will defiantly be staying there again next year choice without hesitation.

30/08/2026: The pizzas from the vending machine are very good, just with very little kebab meat on the kebab pizza.

21/08/2026: Excellent value for money. We had lunch today for just over €37, including two set menus and two drinks. Very friendly welcome and service.

28/09/2026: A really great crêperie! We thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails, savory buckwheat crêpes, and sweet crêpes. Thank you! The prices are very reasonable and the service is warm and welcoming. It's a real pleasure to eat here!

25/09/2026: Good value for money. I'm only getting used to Crepes. These were Lovely Crepes with plenty of filling. We ordered Main, dessert and a drink for two 33 euros. Waitress and service was reasonably quick and efficient. Highly recommend if you are visiting/ staying in Flers.

20/09/2026: We stumbled upon Café de la Paix by chance during a stay in the Perche region. And it was a very pleasant surprise. At Café de la Paix, there's no fuss! Instead, you feel right at home. A warm welcome and hearty, comforting homemade dishes. A special mention for their house-smoked salmon!

08/08/2026: A very nice restaurant in the heart of the village of St. Cénéri. Pleasant terrace, excellent welcome and service. Delicious homemade food, beautifully presented dishes, and very reasonable prices. A place to remember.

18/03/2026: A very pleasant romantic stay, perfect location, no need for a car, private parking, the room was a little more expensive because of the lake view but magnificent 😍 Impeccable cleanliness, a fairly large spa, very welcoming staff, delicious food at the restaurant, generous breakfast, and a very good, high-quality casino show. In short, we will gladly return!

15/03/2026: Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable room. The only downside was the hotel restaurant: very low-quality food, mediocre meat, ridiculous burger, far too expensive for a Saturday night with such poor-quality ingredients.

12/08/2026: Excellent! When everyone else refused us a table for two, the waiters at this restaurant immediately offered us a seat on the terrace or inside! The meal was delicious, the service was quick, and the staff very friendly. The salad was generous, and the dessert... The crepe batter was divine, and the chocolate was plentiful!

31/05/2026: The welcome was perfect, the setting very pleasant, and the food... absolutely delicious! I had a surf and turf salad and shellfish ravioli—yum, delicious! My husband had smoked salmon salad and salmon lasagna, which he said were very good too. We highly recommend this restaurant.

24/08/2026: An unpleasant experience from the moment I arrived, through the service and even the tasting. My disappointment was so profound that I will never return. There are far more pleasant and less amateurish places in Alençon!

11/08/2026: Every time we pass through Alençon, we stop for a pastry and a juice. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed. The Alençon shortbread cookies were rock hard and definitely not fresh; it's the first time that's ever happened to us. As for the restrooms, oh dear! They're usually acceptable, but this time they were truly filthy, which is a real shame for such a lovely tea room.
