02/08/2026: Recently changed ownership. Pleasant and quick service, a very generous and flavorful vegetarian salad. We were able to have coffee on the terrace after lunch inside the brasserie.

17/07/2026: I know this brasserie well, having returned several times. I've never been disappointed! It's a cozy place where you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The dishes are generous, well-balanced, and delicious. The service and attention to customer care are consistently excellent. A simple and pleasant break, just the way we like it, with that little extra something that makes you want to come back.

12/07/2026: We came one evening in July when it was one of the few restaurants open in town, trusting in the restaurant's decent average rating. The dishes were tasteless, with a distinct frozen-thaw flavor. I ordered a roasted Camembert salad; everything was swimming in a flavorless sauce, the Camembert itself was tasteless, the breading was soggy, and there were a few pieces of sour apple. It's a shame for a restaurant that boasts a Gault & Millau guide. We left feeling disgusted. Far too expensive for such poor quality.

29/07/2026: Quick service, ideal when you're short on time for lunch. Limited selection but high quality and tasty dishes. Good value for money. Only downside: a bit noisy inside when it's busy.

10/05/2026: The service was completely arbitrary; the waitress barely spoke to us and seated people who arrived after us. All this just to tell us "not for another 30 minutes"—who eats in 30 minutes? The restaurant probably wasn't even full. This was discriminatory treatment and contempt based on our appearance (I was wearing appropriate sportswear for a competition taking place in the restaurant's city).

24/05/2026: The surprise: chance and hunger led us to this roadside restaurant! What a wonderful surprise! Despite the late hour and without a reservation, the chef agreed to welcome us and cook for us! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, cooked with so much love. My husband even recommended a second dessert! The wife was in the kitchen, the husband in the dining room: a truly delightful character. You chat with him like an old friend! And if you love coffee, we made an unexpected discovery: the opportunity to taste one of the most expensive coffees in the world at an unbelievable price compared to other establishments!!! Shhh, I won't tell you any more; just ask the husband, he'll tell you all about the "BLUE MOUNTAIN"... Thank you so much for this timeless experience, and be sure to book before you come! 07/05/2026: A country restaurant just the way we like them. A set menu (main course and dessert) for €15, featuring only local ingredients, beautifully presented dishes. An excellent artisanal andouillette sausage, superb farm-fresh fromage blanc! A very good, unpretentious restaurant, simple, with fresh, local produce.

09/08/2026: There is a cat living in this restaurant and there is a lot of furniture with cat hair on it. Otherwise, it is not very clean. It wasn't busy, and yet we waited a very long time for food and drinks.

06/08/2026: What a disappointment. We had to wait a very long time, 1.5 hours, for our food while it was very quiet. Drinks arrived late. But even worse: the restaurant is not clean. There is a cat roaming around and you find cat hairs on the chairs. We sat on the rooftop terrace. The chairs are rickety and the white parasols were green with dirt. I love cats, but this is really unacceptable. What a shame!

13/02/2026: I work all over Normandy, and whenever my route takes me through Alençon (or even if I make a detour 🙈), this is my go-to spot for a meal. The owners are very friendly and always offer great advice. Generous salads, fresh ingredients—in short, everything is perfect. I look forward to eating there again as soon as possible!

08/05/2026: The food is very good; recently I had a ribeye steak, warm Camembert, linguine with shrimp, etc. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it's a pleasant place.

02/05/2026: If I could have given zero stars, I would have. When you can't manage an establishment administratively, you can't expect the food to be up to scratch! You urgently need to review the visibility of your opening hours; absolutely nothing is accurate. We're wasting our time!
