08/12/2025: We had a pleasant time at the Hôtel du Tribunal restaurant. The establishment offers a friendly atmosphere and the service is adequate, if not exceptional—a professional and polite welcome. 🍽️ The Dishes Tasted I composed my meal as follows: • Starter: Beef Cheek Ravioli • Verdict: The dish was decent. I found the preparation a little greasy, but the flavor of the beef cheek was definitely there. • Main Course: Game Specialty • Verdict: The dish was good, although I left with a slight regret. I should have chosen the scallops, which looked very appetizing. • Dessert: Walnut Creation • Verdict: A very good final note! The dessert was very good and well executed, a delightful discovery. 💰 Value for Money Overall, the quality of the dishes is excellent. However, I do have a slight reservation regarding the price. In my opinion, the quality/price ratio is perhaps a little high considering the overall experience. ✅ Conclusion A good meal overall. If you're passing through Mortagne-au-Perche, this is a place that offers quality dishes.

06/04/2026: "A real gem! 😊 We had the pleasure of dining at this magnificent 19th-century coaching inn, and everything was perfect. The welcome was warm and attentive, the ambiance of the dining room with its lit fireplace was magical. The cuisine was simply delicious; the dishes were creative and flavorful. And to top it all off, the local Calvados was a delight, a true tribute to Norman tradition! Excellent value for money! We highly recommend it!"

15/04/2026: After several stays at this hotel, I'm taking the time to leave a review. The location is good, on a direct route to the city center with immediate access to the highway. Regarding the reception and the staff in general, everything is impeccable. The person who greets us (both morning and evening) is always attentive, helpful, and kind to guests, demonstrating impeccable professionalism. We could stay in other places, but just because of you, we always book this hotel. The presence of the restaurant is a plus. The menu is simple and varied, and the service and cuisine are perfectly executed at a reasonable price. One small drawback: the soundproofing could be improved. Several times, I had the impression that someone was about to enter my room when it was just the neighbor opening their door. Also, the bathroom fans transmit noise from the neighboring rooms. But overall, a very good stay, rested and ready for work! I recommend this hotel 100%

09/04/2026: The restaurant is a real gem. The food is homemade, and I particularly enjoyed the red mullet fillets with homemade sauce. The quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable. And the service is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

28/03/2026: It smells lovely when you walk in. We were disappointed with the pizzas. The crust was very thin but didn't resemble pizza dough. We're used to authentic Neapolitan pizzas, so this was a letdown. They were, however, generously topped, though we weren't entirely sure about the freshness of the ingredients. The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas, but many of the combinations are rather unusual and not particularly appealing. And only one has a crème fraîche base (with bacon). The service was adequate, and the restrooms were clean.

The gentleman and lady were kind, and I recommend you come back because the villages are beautiful and the restaurants are lovely.

03/03/2026: We booked a table for 7:30 pm last night, specifying on the phone that we needed to leave by 8:30 pm, and were told no problem. Once we arrived, there was a long wait, and the owner was extremely unpleasant. She was not at all friendly and very curt. She pointed out that we had arrived at 7:35 pm in a tone that was truly unacceptable. On the other hand, the food was good, and the cooks managed the time it took to get the dishes out efficiently. But unfortunately, we won't be going back, and we don't recommend this establishment. If the owner is tired of working, she should just quit. Avoid at all costs.
