17/07/2026: No greeting, the staff were laughing amongst themselves instead of taking orders. We waited 15 minutes for two waffles, and the young man kept saying he was leaving for vacation in 10 minutes and that he could already picture himself swimming. It's unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend this place. The young woman working behind the counter looked very tired of the situation. I was also disappointed with the toppings.

08/07/2026: The Tatin-style waffle is delicious, it's prepared right there in front of you, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Thank you! I highly recommend it.

21/04/2026: Okay, but a few missteps. I went with a client, without a reservation. We easily found a seat in the large upstairs room, although the limited space made business conversations a bit difficult – to be expected in this type of establishment. The staff was friendly, but one detail spoiled the experience: our dishes were switched when we ordered. They realized it, took the dishes back under the pretext of an "order error"... only to serve them again two minutes later, still a false claim, without explanation or apology. A shame, because we would have readily accepted the mistake as it was. In total: €90 for two tartares (one of which was 300g), sparkling water, and two gourmet coffees. The prices are in line with the market, but it's still surprising!

20/05/2026: I had dinner last week at this unassuming little restaurant, right across from the Lumières Fourmi cinema. The Italian products in the window by the entrance looked incredibly tempting! The pizzas were delicious, the wine selection was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The waitress was a bit abrupt, but actually very friendly :) Thank you so much, it was a lovely time!

09/03/2026: We visited Pizzeria la Caselina a few days ago and were very pleased. This small restaurant is intimate and allows its customers to gather in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The food is expertly prepared by the team. There's a good variety on the menu, making it difficult to choose. The aroma of freshly cooked food wafts into the dining room, setting the mood for the delicious meal that awaits you.

02/05/2026: Bakery in Les Halles. The bread was delicious and reasonably priced. I also bought some "oreillets," very similar to those made in Spain.

21/06/2026: Happy New Year filled with joy and good cheer!! The Seb special is amazing. The team's great atmosphere, the restaurant is clean and hygiene is respected, which is rare for a kebab shop. Thank you to the whole team for your cheerful service, and I come often and will continue to do so. I highly recommend this little restaurant.

13/05/2026: I am from Philadelphia, and I believe my life has been significantly shortened by my love of steak sandwiches in my youth, so I know of what I speak. I am of two minds on this restaurant: This was not a Philly cheesesteak - it resembled one, mostly - the ingredients at the most abstract form are the same. However, it is not the same. But, dear reader, do not take this as a negative - I am going to say something that will have me banished from Pudge's, Pat's, and Geno's: this is better. To someone who has never eaten a cheesesteak before, this will surpass what is served in Philadelphia if the two sandwiches are put on a table side by side and one has no other reference or history, and it will be obvious that the ingredients (meat, cheese, bread - a simple trio) are notably better in the sandwich from Philly Soul. To someone who grew up on these sandwiches, I would probably still gravitate towards the Amoroso roll and possibly even the highly controversial "cheese steak hoagie" that I can get from Pudge's, even with the better quality and taste of the sandwich in Lyon. They are not the same sandwich, but if you're looking for a great, fast, somewhat unhealthy lunch in Lyon this would be a top choice.

17/07/2026: I enjoy the food at this restaurant and that's why I keep coming back. However, the service leaves much to be desired. The employee who usually serves seems constantly grumpy, gives the impression that he's there against his will, and this makes the experience unpleasant. As a regular customer, I feel much more comfortable ordering takeout than eating in, precisely because of the way we are treated. I sincerely hope this aspect will be improved, because the quality of the food deserves service to match.

16/06/2026: We went for my birthday and had the best time! The lobster tail was cooked to perfection, not bouncy at all. Highly recommend the scallops too!

08/06/2026: My first experience at Les Halles. I know very little about oysters, but the shucker guided me and showed me some real gems. Fresh and well-prepared. A wonderful memory that I'm taking back to Quebec. Thank you.

13/04/2026: Great experience! We made a mistake with our order (cheese sauce when we have an allergy) and the staff were incredibly understanding: they kindly remade the taco without any fuss, even though it was our mistake. Plus, it was delicious! 👍 I highly recommend it!

13/11/2025: Absolutely shameful. My son, who is diabetic, just wanted a little something sweet, and the snack bar employee refused, claiming he wasn't the owner. Seriously?! Do you need to be the owner to have a little compassion? No respect, no humanity. We're talking about a sick child, not a whim! I hope people read this review before spending a single penny there. Avoid this snack bar at all costs; zero conscience, zero compassion.

16/05/2026: The service is friendly, and the seafood is excellent. However, I was disappointed with the salmon linguine; it was so oily and lacked flavor (apart from the salmon itself, which was very good).

07/07/2026: Hygiene: 4.5/5 Service: Not very friendly, but quick afterward when using a computer, which is a shame... Atmosphere: Very noisy. The ramen is good. If it's your first time, get a simple one; avoid the ones with soy sauce broth. Otherwise, if you want to try something new, there are several options.

31/07/2026: Expired green kebab meat with a strange smell, worst tacos of my life, I threw everything away to avoid getting sick...

28/07/2026: The tacos are delicious, the only problem is the long wait at lunchtime, around 30 minutes to an hour, but otherwise very good tacos.

30/11/2025: We organized a family birthday celebration with about twenty people. We received a wonderful welcome. The food and wines were exquisite and of excellent quality. I highly recommend it.

27/11/2025: The wait and service were far from commensurate with the price. It took an hour between arrival and being served. The dishes were tasty but not filling.
