13/04/2026: Great experience! We made a mistake with our order (cheese sauce when we have an allergy) and the staff were incredibly understanding: they kindly remade the taco without any fuss, even though it was our mistake. Plus, it was delicious! 👍 I highly recommend it!
13/11/2025: Absolutely shameful. My son, who is diabetic, just wanted a little something sweet, and the snack bar employee refused, claiming he wasn't the owner. Seriously?! Do you need to be the owner to have a little compassion? No respect, no humanity. We're talking about a sick child, not a whim! I hope people read this review before spending a single penny there. Avoid this snack bar at all costs; zero conscience, zero compassion.

22/07/2026: Honestly, it's not outrageously expensive, but the food isn't up to par. The duck with pineapple had an overly vinegary sauce, resulting in a stomach ache for two days. I mentioned it to the waiter, but nothing was done: no discount, no apology. Nothing.

12/06/2026: Looking for a place to work in Lyon, I came to this establishment for an afternoon of remote work and was greeted with a smile. The setting is super cute, the music is good, and the owner and staff are really pleasant. A special mention for the Viennese coffee—simple but incredibly effective.
I recommend it!

Very disappointed with their service.

01/08/2026: I've been multiple times; the wait is sometimes too long, the service is mediocre, but the food is delicious. The gourmet coffee is worth it to try a little bit of everything! When you don't have to wait forever, it's worth it. If it were a 3.5-star restaurant, I'd give it a 3.5-star rating because of the wait, but again, the food is delicious.

Everything is beautiful: the owners, the service, the food, the atmosphere, and it's only 2 minutes from the train station. Bravo to La Pause Gourmande! Zyad lives up to its name. 16/07/2026: Unacceptable! We waited from 11:50 to 12:20 in front of the counter, but there was no one there. The security guards also started looking for employees. We were far from the only ones, and we all left! Unacceptable and incompetent.

09/07/2026: I made a reservation online, called several times without an answer, only to find out the restaurant is closed, even though it's listed as open on Google Maps. It's like playing Russian roulette. There's no information about the closure anywhere.
28/04/2026: A small but very pleasant restaurant, with a truffle fondue that's perhaps one of the best in Lyon. It's child-friendly and the service is very attentive.
