18/06/2026: My order wasn't fulfilled. I ordered Crispy Chicken. The manager informed me they were out of turkey bacon and offered me pastrami instead, which was fine with me. However, the person who prepared my order didn't include the pastrami. Furthermore, I ordered a meal deal with Mac & Cheese. I was asked three times if I wanted Mac & Cheese, but in the end, I received coleslaw. Paying €19 for an order that wasn't what I ordered, and on top of that, receiving less than promised, is unacceptable. I won't be back.

13/06/2026: Not even half the menu was available, and the drink information was only provided once the bagels were being prepared. The bagel portions were small. Great, they only had water and iced tea left. I've rarely been so disappointed by this place, especially for paying over €15 for the meal deal. I won't be going back.

19/05/2026: I wanted to change up the sauce on my wrap and they didn't let me do that because "one sauce is more expensive" that's a great way to make me not come back again. Otherwise it's cool.

30/11/2025: We organized a family birthday celebration with about twenty people. We received a wonderful welcome. The food and wines were exquisite and of excellent quality. I highly recommend it.

27/11/2025: The wait and service were far from commensurate with the price. It took an hour between arrival and being served. The dishes were tasty but not filling.

28/04/2026: A small but very pleasant restaurant, with a truffle fondue that's perhaps one of the best in Lyon. It's child-friendly and the service is very attentive.

23/04/2026: Two reservations cancelled, one at the last minute due to a supposed lack of cook and one for an undisclosed reason. This is starting to become a problem.

17/07/2026: A very pleasant surprise, excellent value for money on the lunch menus, very tasty dishes.

11/07/2026: The waiter told us they didn't have any beef (which is on three-quarters of the menu). So we ordered chicken and received a dish served in an IKEA cereal bowl with a ridiculously small portion: about three heaped tablespoons. And the price, €16, is simply far too expensive for the amount. I definitely don't recommend it if you want value for your money.

31/01/2026: I absolutely hated the fries. My hamburger came with boiled potatoes that had been deep-fried in oil that tasted like old, used, and expired oil. I think my comment about the potatoes didn't sit well with the owner, because she didn't even offer to replace them and insisted her frying oil was fine in front of other customers ordering the same thing. In any case, I found the taste awful and the potatoes inedible.

14/01/2026: The only thing it resembles with a Corsican restaurant is that they don't accept credit cards. The decor is unusual but pleasant, and there's a good atmosphere. The owner is friendly, however, the food is a complete disaster. The burger is a disaster; everything is mass-produced, with an industrial bun and a cheap frozen patty. The microwaved sautéed potatoes are soggy. Even the salad dressing doesn't seem homemade. The other dishes are the same: frozen vegetables and a supermarket-style soufflé. The desserts redeem things somewhat, but again, nothing Corsican. Don't trust the 5-star reviews from the owner's friends or family; as another reviewer says, leave this place to the regulars and stay away!

13/04/2026: Magnificent space, I recommend it a thousand times over, even ten thousand times if not more. Everything is beautiful: the owners, the service, the food, the atmosphere, and it's only 2 minutes from the train station. Bravo to La Pause Gourmande! Zyad lives up to its name. 27/05/2026: A very well-stocked cigar shop with excellent service and genuine customer interaction. I highly recommend it for buying cigars.

07/05/2026: Absolutely avoid this place, the owner is awful. I went in to buy a pack of cigarettes, and there wasn't even a greeting. I went outside to sit on the terrace, and before I could even say I was having a cigarette while waiting for a friend, the owner told me I wasn't supposed to be smoking on a public bench! I was shocked by his aggression; he practically looked at me like he was about to hit me. It's a shame because, as a shopkeeper next door, I'm going to be spreading the word.

30/04/2026: Sandwiches with ingredients that were clearly frozen. A drink that tasted more like dishwater than coffee. And to top it all off, unpleasant service and managers who couldn't care less about their customers' well-being. I didn't have a good time and I wouldn't wish that on future customers; at that price, I'd be better off going elsewhere.

30/04/2026: I saw loads of cockroaches when I went to the toilet, avoid them at all costs!!!

25/02/2026: She is always baking when I get in the cafe. The atmoshpere feel like home because of the deliciıus smell of cookies and sandwiches. Very calming place.

23/01/2026: We walked a huge distance and came back disappointed. None of the products mentioned in the reviews were available.

03/05/2026: Garibaldi Street has been renovated, including the removal of the underpasses. Finally, the urban highway has been removed for the benefit of residents. Only the end of the street remains to be completed.

24/04/2026: The escalator has been out of order for over a year. I don't know what you're waiting for to fix it! It's incredibly inconvenient!

02/08/2026: The blonde waitress on August 1st was very annoyed. She was asked, "I'd like some coffee." She replied irritably and with a delay. And when she was asked to grind it again because she'd forgotten, she rolled her eyes. Advice to this young woman: "Customers come to you; it's an easy job. Find a job where you're the one seeking out customers, and you'll see the difference. I promise you'll change your behavior."

04/07/2026: Delicious coffee, but the saleswoman ruined everything with her disdainful and incredibly unpleasant behavior! Keep your inappropriate comments to yourself!

28/05/2026: A mediocre lunch. It had been a very long time since I'd left almost all of my main course and dessert on my plate… I didn't enjoy it. While the food was definitely not up to par, the service was friendly.

07/05/2026: We came from Barcelona to eat some good couscous and very good tapas. Excellent atmosphere and excellent service. Greetings, we'll be back.
