18/03/2026: The hamburger was completely smashed, the meat was cold, there was a drop of sauce and that was it. I called and they told me next time, I'd give me a discount 🤦♀️ Anyway, I waited 40 minutes for this and in the end I didn't even eat it

03/07/2026: Puzzled to see the average rating of this place is only 3 stars. Its an unabashed traditional French restaurant. My experience is that it is a very good one! Really top quality ingredients, well prepared and presented, with nice wine. If that isn't what you want, don't go there! There are plenty of other places in Les Halles Paul Bocuse.
24/06/2026: A delightful surprise awaits at the Passionnement Truffes restaurant, located in the legendary Marché de Lyon Paul Bocuse. Dishes are prepared to perfection, following the purest French tradition, and are surprisingly fresh and well-prepared. Highlights include the Volleyball and Mushroom Fricassee with Morel Cream and the Veal Rognons with Port Sauce.

19/07/2026: It's a shame I didn't check the reviews before coming; it would have saved me this bad experience. Personally, I don't recommend it at all!
We ordered a simple Margherita, but the pastry was really strange, almost inedible. Furthermore, the hygiene of the place clearly leaves much to be desired, which doesn't inspire confidence.
15/07/2026: I went there for lunch one day to try it out, and well, it was really bad. I ordered the beef tartare, and it was awful; I've never eaten such a terrible tartare. It came with a strange sauce. The fries were okay, but otherwise, it was a complete mess. The waitress was incredibly rude. I asked for no salad, but the dish arrived loaded with it, and when I asked for it to be removed because I'm allergic, I got a raised eyebrow. I won't be going back! Save your money.

13/05/2026: As a regular at both the restaurant and salad bar, here are my comments:
- Restaurant: I highly recommend it. The dishes are tasty and made with good ingredients, with some options that are a bit different from the usual fare. The service is good and the wait is reasonable! It's great to have a restaurant like this in the neighborhood.
- Salad bar: The ingredients seem fresh and the pre-prepared dishes are quite good and varied. However, my disappointment with the salad bar is growing with each visit, as the portions are getting smaller and smaller. On my last visit, I could barely see the bottom of my container, even though I chose a pasta base and selected four ingredients. I found that rather meager (it's usually quite generous). At the price of the salad, you expect to be satisfied, which is increasingly less the case.

28/04/2026: Regarding the takeaway bistro in Villette, Lyon 3: Several of us colleagues regularly frequent this place at lunchtime to create our own salads. The ingredients are always very fresh and truly delicious, which is what has kept us coming back so often.
However, recently we've noticed a real change in the portion sizes: the base ingredients (carrots, lettuce, bulgur, pasta) seem to have increased, but the toppings that make a salad truly special have significantly decreased.
Considering the price, we're starting to find this a bit disappointing and are disappointed with our salads, which is a shame because we really enjoy the place. We hope this can be adjusted to restore the quality and generous portions we used to enjoy.

06/07/2026: We had a very good meal and the atmosphere on the terraces was pleasant. No car noise.
30/06/2026: Warm goat cheese salad consisting of lettuce, warm goat cheese, tomatoes, and cucumber.
You can tell right away there aren't many ingredients.
When the salad arrives... without cucumber! And with cheap white bread... the disappointment is complete.
I told the waitress but didn't pass it on to the owner.

24/04/2026: The escalator has been out of order for over a year.
I don't know what you're waiting for to fix it!
It's incredibly inconvenient!

16/05/2026: We came here for lunch and we loved it! The server was so nice and explained everything in English! He was a super sweet man. We had the escargot to share, the gratin de ravioles à la Lyonnaise and the saucisson Brioché and everything was delicious and tasty.

The fillings were mediocre; I didn't like the combinations.
I won't be ordering again.
02/07/2026: I would never go back there again. I recommend you avoid it and go to YAAFA, which isn't far away and where the staff are very welcoming.

It was much better with the previous owners.
It might be "good," but without service, it's pointless.

I ordered chicken with peppers.
It was a mush of inedible bits. I left everything and paid the full price, plus the owner was grumpy and claimed that customers liked the dish.
What a taste!
And
I vomited!
It's a disgrace to the restaurant industry.
You should close down before you're asked to.
Avoid at all costs!
22/05/2026: Terrible service. The waitress insulted us. If we had the misfortune of asking for more food from the all-you-can-eat menu, she gave us a dirty look, started talking to her colleagues, and took the menu with her. It's already difficult to make ourselves understood with her, but come on, we didn't say anything, we're not all obligated to speak French... but at least respect the customers, ESPECIALLY IF THEY UNDERSTAND YOUR LANGUAGE!
Anyway, the food isn't bad, but I recommend the Mizakaya restaurant, which is similar but much better. Even if you ask for no wasabi or ginger, it's still on the plate, stuck to everything else, so the flavor is definitely there. And to top it off, the spring rolls were freezing cold inside, barely warmed up.
That's all there is to say about this restaurant except that the experience is greatly ruined by the dark-haired woman who serves us. And the kindness of the grey-haired lady and her impeccable service, she deserves to work in a high-class environment.
