22/08/2024: Had the most wonderful stay at Avril’s. If you’re looking to explore the Somme this is the best place to stay. They have the most amazing collection in the museum and the welcome is like being home from home. Wish we had stayed for longer, we will definitely be back and hope to not leave it another 30 years! Could not recommend enough!!!
19/08/2024: Visited as we saw online that there was an WW1 excavated trench on site.
It was amazing and really interesting. We had lunch and drinks. A great menu in english. We are vegetarian and had struggled to find food on the trip. We ate well here. Beautiful surroundings with chickens and birds. Would recommend.

La ficelle picarde est très bonne, faite maison avec de très bons produits.
En plat principal, filet de bœuf avec des frites maison.
L’accueil est vraiment au top.
Merci pour cette excellente soirée.
Un très bon restaurant traditionnel.

La viande est extra et le cassoulet, la spécialité, copieux et délicieux
C'est le plus vieux restaurateur d'Amiens !

18/08/2024: Très bon restaurant, menu à prix cohérent 27 euros.
Rien à voir avec le restau horrible et pas commercial pour deux sous de l îlot trésor juste à côté . Les frites sont horribles.
La ficelle picarde on cherche encore le jambon dedans alors que la mouette c’était l’entrée la ficelle et bien généreuse.

bienveillant et très sympathique ! Les plats sont généreux y compris le plat du menu enfant
Produits régionaux comme la ficelle picarde et les frites étaient bien faites maison ce jour.

27/04/2024: Viandes arrivées froides ,le cuistot a juste tiédi après retour en cuisine et a mélangé les assiettes,la viande est revenue tiède et l accompagnement froid.... juste le serveur très gêné de l incompétence et de la mauvaise fois du cuisinier. Ambiance entre associés qui joue sur la qualité,a fuir.....
