25/05/2026: We were first drawn in by the warm welcome from the manager, Jocelyne, and her entire staff. Then we were won over by the meal. The food is fresh and full of flavor. We ordered the Caribbean menu, the seafood platter, and mussels and fries. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. The prices are also very reasonable. As other reviews mention, don't judge a book by its cover! And once again, an incredible welcome that makes us want to come back! Thank you for this wonderful time spent at your establishment ☺️

The flavorful and delicious dishes left a lingering bitter aftertaste. And what can I say about the waitresses… smiling, charming, and with such generous smiles! 27/05/2026: The waitress or owner was very nice but overwhelmed on Tuesday, May 26th. The Caesar salad wasn't a Caesar salad at all: large green lettuce leaves, a single head of romaine, and barely cooked bacon. A piña colada at €12 was a bit of an overcharge. Very expensive for the quality. €72 for two people for two Caesar salads, two two-scoop ice cream sundaes, a glass of white wine, and a piña colada. It's a shame because the person serving us was doing her best alone with so many people.

24/04/2026: Very warm welcome. Reservations recommended. Very reasonable prices and excellent food. A place to remember in Les Sables. Very convenient, right opposite the ferry terminal.

15/02/2026: It's a shame the seafood sauerkraut wasn't up to par. There was no sirloin steak as advertised on the menu. And no homemade fries as indicated. The wait was far too long. Very disappointed.

14/02/2026: We came today as a party of four without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and they had a nice menu with several choices of fish and meat dishes, including a daily special. We ordered a rib of beef, steak tartare, and pink duck breast strips at 12:45 PM. An hour later, we still hadn't been served. I asked the waitress why it was taking so long, and she gave us a rather unfriendly response: "The oven isn't expandable" or "The restaurant is full," which is unjustifiable given the long wait. An hour and a half later, our dishes arrived, all good and hot, except for the duck breast strips, which were served medium-rare but inedible, with cold mashed potatoes and a sauce that wasn't the one that was supposed to go in the dish. I asked for them to be replaced, but unfortunately, they were out of duck breast strips in the kitchen, so I had no meal. We left disappointed with our meals. I would recommend this restaurant for a group with plenty of time and a lot of patience.

23/01/2025: Very warm welcome, the servers are charming and smiling. Well decorated and intimate restaurant. We shared a fondue for 2 served with cold meats and salad. Everything was delicious. A little more salad to clear your conscience 😅 We recommend this address

18/05/2026: We booked by phone for dinner on a Saturday night: the owner was very direct and not very friendly. The dinner was good overall, but I think our starters weren't homemade (I don't know about the desserts since we didn't have any). The portions were adequate. However, don't order the decaf! I saw that it was just powder and hot water. And I didn't see a coffee machine in operation.

06/04/2026: Stopped for a coffee, the waiter with the moustache was very friendly, the beach cafe is right by the sea, great, otherwise nothing to report.

21/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to come to the Joa casino in Les Sables d'Olonne; good atmosphere, friendly staff, nothing is left to chance and there's a variety of machines, although to my great regret there are too many 1-cent electronic machines with imposed bets.

15/05/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful discovery at Le P’tit Louis restaurant in Port Olona. We had dinner there one evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The scallop tartare as a starter was excellent, very fresh, and bursting with flavor. The scallop and prawn duo was also delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A truly excellent restaurant that we highly recommend.
