Nous avons craqué pour deux succulentes pâtisseries orientales. Bref, nous avons passé une agréable soirée, à renouveler avec joie...

11/08/2024: The cuisine is absolutely excellent, special mention for the Mouembe chicken and the tilapia. Madame Jeanne is very friendly. She is alone in the kitchen and serving and everything is made to order. So, yes there may be a wait but it's worth it!

27/07/2024: Vraiment une très belle découverte, dans une petite rue de Rennes proche du parlement de Bretagne. L’accueil est au top, la patronne adorable. La cuisine vraiment bonne et une découverte de saveurs incroyables. Les tarifs sont juste nickel pour la qualité. Le seul bémol est que c’est assez étroit mais sinon il faut vraiment essayer ce restaurant.

15/12/2024: I used to Come watch football hère but unfortunaly they hire kids to work at thé bar . Sometimes they are nice sometimes they are just kids . Its not sport bar if they dont put sport on a saturday night

04/12/2024: Pub located on the first floor of the hostel There is a large electronic screen TV in the center, so it is good to enjoy watching soccer games or sports games. The hostel offers a free one-day class at this bar every evening at 8pm. If you book in advance, you can make and drink cocktails and it's free!!

13/09/2024: I used to go there and returned with a large group (8 people), most of whom were foreign tourists. The waiters brought us an extra plate without telling us and added it to the bill (which we ultimately refused to pay, but they insisted). The mistake was obviously theirs, and they took advantage of the fact that we made a large order with a tour group. On leaving, the highlight of the show, the same waitress comes to see us to ask us to pay 3 euros for a mini-plate with broken sauce. I've never seen that in my life. We obviously refused to pay. They are not afraid.

06/10/2024: The yassa was excellent but The mafé seemed to us to lack a little depth (but we didn't know this dish so...we might be wrong) The cocktails are generous and inexpensive. We regretted not being able to taste the stuffed crab or the coconut blancmange (2 desserts out of 3 on the menu not available) We were expecting a slightly more warm and friendly atmosphere which the somewhat lazy, although friendly, service did not allow us to experience.

31/08/2024: Pizzas, lasagna, burgers... Everything is excellent! I'm a regular at the restaurant and it's not for nothing: the dishes are very good, the setting is friendly, the staff is very kind and professional, go there with your eyes closed, you won't regret it!

30/08/2024: The quality of the meals was great! Speed ​​at the top! The only problem is the waitress's final remark (brown ponytail) which clearly turned on my husband! Asking her openly that if she agreed to take her bank card what did she get in exchange! (because we always play a game of who will pay for each other) there were 4 of us and I think she probably shouldn't not knowing it was my husband but it's still very cheeky.

27/09/2024: Good, but not stellar. We asked if one couscous was enough for two people and they told us to take two things. Finally he stayed and we took him away.

08/09/2024: Too bad the vegetables aren't cooked, the chickpeas are separate, just out of the can so not cooked. The meat is not cooked in the broth either. Beautiful decor nonetheless and kind staff. There are only 3 digestives instead of all those offered on the menu. Really a shame!

03/12/2025: At 12:30 PM, the line was quite short. No printed menu was available upon entry; we had to rely on the TV screens and the app to browse the menu. The pulled beef sandwich on the menu was too small for the price. The Yassa chicken and the Chamalaka vegetarian curry were worth the price, but were a bit cold. However, the service was very quick.

25/11/2025: For a quick meal, this place is perfect: plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options, made-to-order food, and relatively affordable. If you find it available, don't miss the dessert: plantains wrapped in shredded coconut to dip in chocolate! So good!
