17/01/2026: Back to the future without the DeLorean... Welcome to an all-you-can-eat buffet from the 2000s. Back when it was impressive to see a restaurant offering unlimited food for a fixed price. Unfortunately, I think the buffet has remained the same all these years... very, very little choice!!! And VERY, VERY INCONVENIENTLY replenished. We arrived at 12:50 PM and the appetizers were already quite limited. Three shrimp fighting each other in a far too large dish, a few overcooked fried snacks, and only one type of spring roll... For an Asian restaurant, that's ridiculous... On the other hand, there was bread, pasta salad, pâté, pickles... enough to enjoy at Oktoberfest, but when you're looking for Asian food, it's more complicated. Let's skip the appetizers and focus on the wok... 1:25 PM, no more choices... the meat trays are empty, the crudités are offering a few survivors, the three shrimp that were fighting each other have two surviving cousins... So I make do with what I have, a wok with 3 pieces of squid, the two shrimp that were waiting for me, and a piece of white fish... It'll do in my misery... I get to the cooking station and say hello to the chef who looks at me, takes my plate, and turns around to cut some octopus for the evening service... I wait patiently and when they ask for my sauce, I choose the house sauce, but there isn't any, and the coconut sauce is out too... so I choose hot sauce... Hot sauce in name only, given that all the ingredients are cooked in 1 liter of water for every spoonful of sauce. The upside is you won't end up dehydrated, but as for the flavors, forget it... And what can I say about the dessert table? It's like something you'd find at a village fair trying to cut costs. Even the petit fours seem to apologize for the meager offerings. Personally, I'd avoid it unless you're looking for a challenge or training for a survival game.

11/12/2024: A very unpleasant old lady. No empathy for people who ask for the slightest thing despite their Buddhist spirituality which according to Karma generally requires good behavior and empathy. Business numbers are more important than spirituality, a shame.

16/09/2025: We had dinner here, we ordered dimsum, samoussa, chicken dishes and desserts. It was good and quiet. I was surprised that even though there are many delivery guys coming and picking up orders, inside the restaurant it was only us sitting and dining there.

27/08/2025: I ordered the bobun, and it was delicious and well-served. It's a quiet place with friendly service.

14/12/2024: We went there on a Friday winter evening for fondue and we were delighted. Tasty and spicy broth, nice assortment of land and sea products, and attentive, polite, pleasant staff. One of them showed us how to do cooking times and utensils. I recommend!

02/01/2026: We couldn't even get a meal. I called to make a reservation, and the answering machine message said they don't take reservations. So we arrived quite early without a reservation and were refused entry on arrival because we were told we needed a reservation. The dining room was empty, apparently waiting for reservations. A clear communication problem and a very frustrating experience. A shame.

03/07/2025: We had a great time, the Lebanese cuisine was a great discovery. The starters were well presented, and the value for money was reasonable! We found the place friendly and we will be happy to come back!

15/06/2025: We have been customers for years and we have clearly seen the quality of the snacks deteriorating... this evening was the apotheosis, the boss arguing with his employee and the quality of the taouk sandwich, falafels which are at least J+5, let's hope we are not sick... there is nothing more to say for us, it's goodbye, too bad, before it was very good, maybe the boss should ask himself the right questions....

25/11/2025: I can confirm that children often speak the truth: "Mom, there aren't enough stars to rate this restaurant!" It's true. I've been a regular at this restaurant for several years now, and I'm still absolutely delighted. It's become a ritual to come and spend quality time there with my children. The staff always welcome us with a warm smile, prepare our table with special care to suit our preferences, create fresh and delicious dishes, then help the children serve themselves at the buffet and laugh with them. Thank you to the staff of this restaurant for being so generous and attentive. A little bit of sweetness in this dreary world. I highly recommend a wonderful experience at Asian World in Lisieux, and bon appétit! 🙏🏼

06/01/2026: A superb evening for New Year's Eve! When you're not doing anything, it's fantastic to have restaurants offering New Year's Eve dinners and one that accepts dogs—the only Chinese restaurant in the area, as they don't in Challans or Sallertaine. The only downside was the staff, who were a bit grumpy during service. However, the food was delicious with plenty of choice—enough to satisfy any appetite. I'll be back soon because I loved it. I recommend it despite the negative reviews.

02/11/2025: Terrible experience - Pad thai: tagliatelle with meat and broth. Never seen anything like it. - Stir-fried noodles: probably instant noodles. - Bobun was more like an ugly bun... Either we were unlucky, or the people who wrote this review have never eaten Asian food before.

05/10/2025: We ran away, so we went to Saigon Express for dinner. For starters, my girlfriend ordered the steamed assortment (8 pieces), unfortunately 2 of them (with shrimp) smelled spoiled. Then, I ordered a "beef kimchi soup" but I received a soup with instant noodles (for 18€ anyway 😵‍💫) and too salty... I told the waiter at the end, having only eaten the noodles because the beef had a strange taste and I didn't find the kimchi (= lacto-fermented vegetables often spicy) to be very tasty, and he jokingly replied that it's the noodles that are called kimchi... If anyone else knows these kimchi noodles, I'd be curious to know. I rarely comment to criticize negatively, but we were really disappointed.

14/01/2026: Traditional Asian Buffet The decor feels outdated compared to other, more modern buffets. You'll find the classics: sushi, seafood, fried dishes, and steamed items. There's also a wok station with several basic preparations. The food was decent, but the abundance of frozen items, like the seafood, fried dishes, and desserts, made it rather average. It's not a place where you'll experience culinary bliss, but it's acceptable, and the price reflects the quality. The cocktails weren't great; they weren't even shaken, just poured from scratch.
