17/04/2026: I'm a big fan of Asian cuisine, and I have to say this was a very pleasant surprise. I had pho bo as a starter: simpler than a traditional pho (for example, no meatballs or tendons), but the broth was delicious. In short, I loved it! Then I had beef in spicy sauce, and again, excellent, with perfectly cooked rice. This restaurant serves very good food—simple, efficient, and excellent value for money. Definitely worth discovering!

13/03/2026: I recently discovered Dumplings and Co in Lille and it was a very pleasant experience. The pork and chive dumplings were particularly tasty, perfectly cooked, and generously filled. I also appreciated the modern decor with its subtle Asian touches. A big thank you to Julie, the waitress, for her warm welcome and helpful advice about the menu. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is quick. A great place to enjoy dim sum in the city center. 🍜🥟

11/04/2026: I came for dinner last night and the service was disastrous from start to finish: the waiter was disorganized, unfriendly, and incapable of properly handling an order. We waited over 40 minutes before receiving part of our food… because half the order had been forgotten. When we pointed this out, we were asked to write everything down on a piece of paper. Even then, we still had to wait another 30 minutes or so. Another major problem: a caramel chicken dish we ordered arrived with an extremely strong smell of vinegar, making it inedible. When we mentioned this, the waiter gave us a rude response, simply telling us to leave the plate on the table, without any real concern for the issue. It was frankly embarrassing and unpleasant. Finally, the overall quality of the food was very disappointing compared to what I had experienced at this restaurant before. As for me, I was sick during the night and the following morning. Overall, a very bad experience, both in terms of service and food quality. I will not be returning.

14/03/2026: My wife was abroad for the day so I decided to have a super outside for a change. I went to this Indochine restaurant. I asked for a place for one. I was surprised that I could see that the woman it was not happy as all the tables were laid out at least for two. So she point me to a hidden table in the way to the toilet despite the fact almost the whole restaurant was empty at 19:30. So I respectfully declined and she said, there is not a place for me. I said “no problem” and I went away. I went to The mitre, a restaurant close by, where I had a tasty rib eye steak. I am not planning to come back to the Indonesian restaurant anytime soon. Always I give 2 options to a restaurant. The first time I was there I got a glued rice that it was more like a brick other than food.

21/02/2026: My son, my husband, and I were very excited to have dinner at this restaurant on Saturday evening after mass. The dining room was three-quarters empty, and the manager, a charming woman, told us that all the tables were reserved. We weren't even offered the option of coming back later. "We're fully booked this Saturday until closing time," she told us. So we suggested takeout, to which the woman replied that the cook was working alone and our request couldn't be accommodated. Having our doubts, we left the restaurant and decided to try making a reservation by phone. Miraculously, we were offered a table over the phone at 9 pm, an hour and ten minutes after our visit, which had previously been impossible. So, I would have liked to rate the food, the service, and the atmosphere; however, the color of our skin is apparently a barrier for the Indochine restaurant. Unfortunately, I cannot impose myself somewhere where we are not welcome, what a shame... all we could suggest is having a sign in front of the entrance saying "We do not serve dinner to black people" it would have saved us a lot of frustration on this Saturday, February 21, 2026, when pushing open the door of your restaurant.

02/11/2025: Terrible experience - Pad thai: tagliatelle with meat and broth. Never seen anything like it. - Stir-fried noodles: probably instant noodles. - Bobun was more like an ugly bun... Either we were unlucky, or the people who wrote this review have never eaten Asian food before.

09/04/2026: Typical, picturesque setting. Charming welcome. Special mention for the appetizer platter and the beautifully presented and refreshing dessert: coconut ice cream, granita on top, and mango slices underneath... An "obscene" delight! :-) Unfortunately, the chicken pad thai lacked spices and/or a touch of chili. I tried the two Thai beers on the menu: a pleasant surprise. Light and tropical, just the way I like them. I'll be back (in good company).

24/04/2026: This must be the only Chinese restaurant in Marseille where you actually get Chinese food and not a mix of everything from Asia. They also have the best eggplant in Marseille. Always make a reservation because otherwise you'll never get a table. Be aware of the loud customers, but at least you feel comfortable doing the same. The young waitress was so nice.

05/05/2026: The food wasn't fresh at all. Everything was microwaved. There was a huge fly crawling around the restaurant. The place smelled strange, and the cutlery was either greasy or dusty. It was truly disgusting. I couldn't even take three bites of my beef loc lac rice; not only was the rice tasteless, but the meat was like gum—tasteless and not fresh. It smelled like it had been reheated a thousand times. One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to.
