26/08/2026: I very rarely leave reviews, but this time I feel compelled to. I ordered vegetable gyoza, which were barely passable (and served with a salty soy sauce base), and a "beef and coriander soup" that was inedible. The texture was slimy (MSG mixed with water?) with tiny bits of meat, white strands (eggs? tripe?), and so-called coriander. Absolutely tasteless—beyond bland—and the texture was revolting. I couldn't eat it. When I emptied the soup through a sieve, once the "liquid" had passed through (with difficulty, it was so thick), there was still about a tablespoon of "ingredients" left at the bottom. If I had eaten there, I would have mentioned it directly to the otherwise very welcoming waiter, but unfortunately, I took my meal home. I hope my bad experience was just a one-off.

13/08/2026: If you're feeling nostalgic for your last trip to Japan and are looking for the authentic taste of katsu or soba, this restaurant will satisfy you with its katsu don and/or goma soba! The owners are very friendly and kind, the portions are generous, and the flavors are truly authentic Japanese. The lunch menu makes the price even more attractive!

25/08/2026: Delicious Chinese restaurant! Everything is fresh and homemade, and very flavorful. Special mention for the frog legs! €114 for 6 adults and half the food was left over! Very generous portions! Remember to bring exact change, no credit cards.

23/08/2026: Very good restaurant, fresh ingredients and generous portions, good value for money in the area. It's a shame that when you order an aperitif, the crisps are no longer offered free of charge or even available as a separate plate for an extra fee. I don't order them anymore because I can't drink alcohol without eating something.

05/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! The meal was delicious, with flavorful and perfectly prepared dishes. We also received a very warm welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and calm, ideal for a pleasant experience. And a special mention to the fish company 🐟😉 We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. We highly recommend this place!

26/07/2026: Re-editing my 2018 review: in 2026, I stand by everything, except that the prices are now reasonable. Go for it without hesitation, but be aware that it's not open very often. 2018 Review: Good quality Chinese restaurant with fresh, well-prepared ingredients (the Ricanto could use a bit more flavor). Warm welcome. The lunch menu is a bit pricey at €11.80.

21/08/2026: All you can eat buffet that is open for lunch and dinner. It is a great experience. It is very unique because it has a wok station where you give raw meat and seafood to someone and they will cook it for you (with any sauce from the list).

19/07/2026: A truly great place! I enjoy a wonderful meal every night, trying out the different dishes that La Pagoda offers, and they're always so flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant where the welcome is friendly and, above all, the food is delicious—the spring rolls and samosas are a real treat! I'll let you discover the other dishes for yourselves. Enjoy!

13/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true gem in Grenoble! There were 10 of us, and we ordered a little bit of everything from the menu: hakao, spring rolls, pad thai, Thai rice, Phouket fish, red curry, and several other specialties. Honestly, everything was excellent from start to finish! 😍 Each dish was flavorful, generous, fresh, high-quality, and perfectly prepared. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the cooking. The pad thai was delicious, the red curry bursting with flavor, and the Phouket fish simply incredible. Despite our large table, we didn't have to wait at all. The service was quick, efficient, and above all, extremely warm. The staff is lovely, attentive, and professional. A true 10/10! We were all won over, without exception. It's the kind of place you can recommend without hesitation and where you already want to return. For us, this is clearly one of the best Asian restaurants in Grenoble. Phouket - Chinese & Thai Restaurant is a real gem! ❤️ Well done to the whole team and thank you for the excellent service.

09/09/2026: What an amazing buffet! The selection of different foods here is overwhelming but in a very good way. Not only do they have more dishes than you could ever taste in one sitting but they offer a salad selection, cheese selection, fruit selection, deserts, ice cream, a selection of candies for the kids and yes, even a chocolate fountain! I believe we paid 18€ per person on weekdays and 25€ per person on weekends and holidays. An unbelievable value for what you are offered. This is now one of my favourite places to dine. We have been back several times and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the warm, friendly service. I highly recommend the Buffet Royale for a wonderful dining experience!

We've never been disappointed. Over time, we've always rediscovered that desire to satisfy our customers, from the warm welcome and discreet service throughout the meal to the delicate flavors of every dish. Cambodgiana knows how to awaken your taste buds and surprise you every time in a setting that transports you.
