04/12/2024: I had tasted real Tteokbokki elsewhere and wanted to try the experience again here. Balance sheet: Half a chicken knacki dueling with some ramen for the sum of €15 is shameful. There's nothing Korean about this Korean "restaurant".

25/02/2026: We called to reserve a table, and after a 30-minute drive, we arrived. We mentioned a reservation, and they told us there was no reservation under our name! We checked the phone number; it was correct, but they still insisted there was no reservation… We were with two children, and in this situation, it would have been more respectful and courteous to seat us at a table, knowing the restaurant wasn't full, rather than making us feel like liars! We won't be going back anytime soon!

11/02/2026: Unfriendly welcome, very slow service, awful cocktail—I had to ask for it to be remade because my spritz only contained Aperol. Basic food, nothing special, really disappointed! Far from being the best Asian restaurant in Troyes.

07/03/2026: I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. We ordered takeout: pineapple and rice, and chicken curry. The pineapple was so salty it was inedible; we had to throw it away. The chicken had very little flavor, and we were very disappointed! We sent an email requesting compensation for the chicken and pineapple, which we couldn't eat (we would have liked them to try it...), but received no response. What a lack of customer service! We definitely do not recommend this restaurant and are very disappointed with their lack of response to our message! If I could have given less than one star, I would have.

24/02/2026: The products were of very good quality, with great care taken to adjust the spiciness to the customer's taste. The service was very polite and the dining room was quiet.

20/02/2026: Highly recommended and enjoyable! A very good neighborhood Chinese restaurant. With excellent service. A satay sauce to die for! A Chinese hot pot you absolutely must try :)

18/02/2026: Soleil Levant Restaurant – traditional Chinese cuisine, à la carte dishes (no buffet). The portions are generous and the food is generally good. Expect to pay between €20 and €30 per person. No children's menu. The setting is pleasant, although we were a little cold during the meal. The crispy chicken was a disappointment, covered in a very thick sauce that completely ruined the crispiness—I don't recommend this dish. On the other hand, the pineapple and shrimp salad was very good, but really too much for one person.

13/02/2026: I don't quite understand the great reviews. The rice was awful, overcooked. They completely lacked any spicy sauce, which is strange for an Asian restaurant. The dishes tasted good, but the portions were small, and the most worrying thing is that for someone with allergies, there's no control whatsoever. I asked if I could omit certain ingredients because I didn't like them, and they said yes, no problem, and then I saw them all over the plate. It's not a problem for me because it's simply because I don't like them, but for someone with allergies? It's dangerous. The waiter's service was quite good considering he was the only one in the dining room. I received a reply to this review stating that you have spicy sauce available upon request. I asked for it, and it never arrived because they said they didn't have any. Regarding the allergens, you have a chart listing them all, but what good is that if I ask for something to be without an ingredient and they put it in anyway? It's a lie that they mentioned it after the dish arrived because even the waiter apologized when I pointed it out to him.

21/01/2026: A very warm welcome! I ordered takeout early last night and I loved it! I was able to wait comfortably, sitting in the warmth, while my order was being prepared. The quality/price/quantity ratio is excellent! I would gladly return.

21/02/2026: We discovered this establishment three years ago, and every meal is excellent, whether it's a hot dish or sushi. The quality and quantity are both there, and the prices are very affordable. I'm very surprised to see negative reviews because we've never been disappointed at this quality family restaurant.

17/02/2026: Not everything is bad, but nothing is good. I couldn't say if it's pre-made or if the food is prepared for the week, but what's certain is that freshness is lacking (the speed of preparation, incompatible with home cooking, is a perfect example). There's a lot of salt and spices in an attempt to make it edible, with very limited success. Avoid this place and buy ready-made meals. They'll be at least as digestible and much cheaper.

04/11/2025: It’s a little hole in the wall with zero atmosphere that is as much about takeout as the dining room but the pho broth was from homemade stock, real crab in the crab salad, sweet and spicy shrimp, and beef that came to the table sizzling hot. Tasted good and filled us up.

16/02/2026: Reading the reviews, I thought I'd chosen the wrong website to leave one... Yes, it's bustling, it's lively, it's vibrant... Like a shop packed to the rafters, you can't take in everything on offer, you become a child again, unsure which gift to choose... You sit on good old, beat-up armchairs that have seen their fair share of use, you find some very tasty things and others you won't order again... Just like everywhere else... An unpretentious, no-nonsense place for everyone, all dietary restrictions and all palates... For those who can't appreciate this dynamic, typical of all-you-can-eat Asian buffets located in shopping centers, well, yes, you should move on.
