22/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, with a very warm welcome and lovely traditional decor...we've eaten in several times and ordered takeout, always top-notch, always delicious, and excellent value for money...I should mention that I'm vegetarian and they also have vegan options...We highly recommend this place 👍😊

19/04/2026: I must admit I was very surprised by the high nutritional quality of this takeaway meal for €10. You get meat, rice, a nice little salad, three spring rolls, and chicken—all for €15! Honestly, I guarantee you it was delicious. I highly recommend it. You'll receive excellent service; the woman is very friendly and helpful, and the gentleman in the kitchen is very kind. Believe me, I'll be back to eat at your place.

07/05/2026: We stopped with children to eat at this restaurant located on a pedestrian street. The chicken spring rolls were a bit overfried, and the dishes had a lot of noodles and not much meat, but otherwise the service was very friendly.

09/07/2026: Very disappointed. We were a group. We waited 40 minutes for a dish of three pieces of meat with onions, and an hour for disgusting button mushrooms. Everything was too sweet, too salty, and in the end, it was supposed to be all-you-can-eat, but the wait was so long and the food inedible that we didn't even dare order again. They were clueless; some people had their orders completed quickly, but for others, it was like me waiting 40 minutes to an hour for practically nothing. Run away, you poor fools, keep walking! I don't understand how they can still be open when it's so bad. Over €700 on the bill, and we still left hungry. Very, very, very disappointed. Don't trust Ms. Geopoulos's review; the group she describes is the one I was in, and the service was deplorable for our group. As I said, we waited an hour for two things (mushrooms and beef with onions, and the mushrooms were inedible, disgusting). So maybe the service is fine for a table of four, but when it comes to managing groups, it's a disaster. And the food is disgusting, the menu is completely unclear (you don't know what goes in the wok, on the grill, or is a made-to-order dish), and especially considering the wait time, well, it was supposed to be all-you-can-eat, but my friend would have been better off going to a REAL, competent restaurant, even if it cost more, where we would have left feeling stuffed (I felt like going to McDonald's on the way out because we ended up with nothing to eat).

12/07/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place unless you want to get sick. Everything that's supposed to be fresh is at room temperature, even the ice cream counter is awful. We left with stomach aches and nausea. I don't think this restaurant respects the cold chain... avoid it as much as possible. Except for the drinks (there has to be one positive point, lol). If my partner and I have to go to the hospital tomorrow for food poisoning, I wouldn't be surprised. RUN AWAY, THAT'S THE ONLY THING TO REMEMBER. I should add that after we complained at the register, we received no compensation whatsoever, even though we didn't eat much because we were so unwell. The man who served us looked at us and said "sorry," and that was it. We only spent about €10 (and I'm being generous) on food for two adults. It's absolutely unacceptable to let polite and respectful customers leave unhappy. They need to review their internal policies. Besides, we're students, so we'd saved up by eating a lot of pasta to treat ourselves to a nice restaurant. My partner and I are disgusted by the situation and very angry. Have a good evening.

18/07/2026: We walked past; the restaurant was supposed to be open, but it was closed. Hopefully, it's temporary because it's an excellent place.

05/08/2026: Endless wait with a baby and left without food We had an absolutely disappointing experience here. We had to wait an extremely long time – which is already a challenge with a 7-month-old baby. The worst part: In the end, we didn't even get anything to eat! When we spoke to the staff about it, there was neither an apology nor an explanation, but only a rude and dismissive response. To leave a table with an infant sitting there for so long, not serve anything at all, and then be rude on top of it is the height of disrespect. We left hungry and angry. We will definitely never come back and absolutely cannot recommend this place. I would give it zero stars if I could.

28/06/2026: If you're looking for authentic Thai or Chinese food, this is the place to go. Everything is perfect: the location, the dishes prepared to your liking, and the very friendly and efficient staff. In short, go without hesitation. And what's more, they don't rip you off with their prices.

02/07/2026: Total disappointment. Wednesdays are pizza only; admittedly, they're 12 CHF, but not great, and the sommelier was stressed and, consequently, stressful. We used to come here with pleasure, but now... I'm not sure I'll go back.

12/04/2026: I was very disappointed by this restaurant. The waitress was lovely and the wine was very good. Those were the only positive points for me. The portions were tiny. I ordered the beef barbecue. I got a few slices of beef with 4 or 5 mushrooms. It came with a small bowl of rice. No vegetables, no soup as a starter. I was still hungry afterward. (Even though we had ordered a starter)

15/07/2026: Homemade food and freshly made. You have to wait but it's worth it. The owner who cooks is very attentive and pleasant. Place designed for taking out orders but also has a few tables to eat inside or on the terrace.

08/07/2026: Despite not questioning this woman's skill at all—she's very kind, by the way—I must admit I was disappointed. The sushi was good, but the quantity-to-price ratio is far from satisfactory. When you manage to cram 24 pieces of sushi into a 20 x 15 cm box, I consider the portion sizes to be a real problem. As for the fried items, €12 for six frozen pieces... I don't need to elaborate further; I think you understand. On top of that, there were no chopsticks or napkins for a takeaway order, which is quite surprising. Furthermore, the homemade sweet soy sauces were very bland. We all know that sushi is already a relatively expensive meal, but here the price is, in my opinion, completely disproportionate to what is offered. It feels like a gourmet restaurant: it's best not to be too hungry, but bring a hefty wallet. PS: Since this woman works alone, remember to place your order well in advance. We'd been in the restaurant for a good 10 minutes, and it was only when we went to pay that we were told there would be an hour's wait.

06/07/2026: While in the Gard region for family reasons, my partner, brother-in-law, and I had dinner at Shanghai for the first time. There wasn't a huge menu, but they offered just what we like. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious, even the ice cream was good. The service was excellent, and the wok was fantastic too. A huge thank you to them for their professionalism; for me, it's the best wok in Nîmes. We'll be back! ❤️👍💯💯💯
