23/05/2026: A pastry shop I've known for a long time. Their little egg tarts are very good but sell out quickly. The pastries are decent, although I think the quality has declined a bit. The matcha tart was good. However, the chocolate pineapple entremet was a little too sweet for my taste.

06/04/2026: I bought a slice of chiffon cake for €3, but I was disappointed. The portion was small, and it didn't seem to be good value for money. The presentation wasn't very elegant, and the cake looked like it hadn't been fresh the day before. The texture and freshness didn't live up to my expectations. I don't know if the owner has changed or if there's been a change in management, but the slices used to be square and much more generous. The difference is really noticeable. It's a shame, because the place had made a better impression on me before. I hope the quality and freshness will return to what they were.

16/03/2026: An excellent meal, plenty of à la carte options, and very reasonably priced menus. A real restaurant, not a large buffet like you see more and more these days. If I may make a suggestion, some Asian background music to set the mood would be greatly appreciated.

The meat was so tough and dry it felt like rubber (caoutchouc); I actually have a video of the meat bouncing. It was clear this wasn't fresh food—likely leftovers that had been sitting around far too long. ​When we went back to complain, the manager’s response was incredibly dismissive. Instead of apologizing for the poor quality, he simply said, "Some people like it this way, some don't." Let’s be clear: No one "likes" pork that has the texture of an eraser. ​This restaurant is located on an expensive street where customers expect quality. Charging full price for old, rubbery food and then giving the customer attitude when they complain is unacceptable. They took our money and offered zero solutions. Save your money and go elsewhere. ​A Quick Reality Check ​The "Sunday" Factor: You’re likely spot on. Many smaller spots that aren't high-turnover use Sundays to clear out the week's prep. But in a high-rent district in the 8th/9th arrondissement, that’s a recipe for a closing business. ​The Manager's Excuse: Claiming "subjective taste" for meat that is physically bouncing is a classic gaslighting tactic in the service industry. High-quality porc au caramel should be tender and melt-in-your-mouth, not a choking hazard.

The welcome is warm, the staff attentive, and the service seamless; you immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is pleasant and the setting is beautiful. It's a place I would return to without hesitation and highly recommend—it's fantastic for the price!
