20/08/2024: On our return from Piedmont to Brussels, we stopped at this hotel. We stayed there in the annex, Susan’s hotel in a decent room. As other travelers have noted, it was very quiet and we were surrounded by greenery. The buffet breakfast was good and the price very reasonable. We decided to have dinner there. It all started very badly. As an aperitif, my wife had a pressed orange juice guaranteed to be fresh and of the highest quality. It tasted questionable. The lady brought us the bottle of juice: there was a brownish deposit at the bottom of the bottle and she assured us that it was normal. I doubt it. I thought I was reliving the Schpountz scene with the tropical anchovies. As for me, I asked for an amber beer. I couldn't use one because there was too much foam. So I had a lager which I didn't particularly like but it was, I was told, a local beer and it is quite possible that other people will like it (we can hope for the brewer). So we had some apprehensions before sitting down to eat. As it was very hot, the meal took place on the terrace with a very pleasant panoramic view. Unfortunately we were unable to choose our table and my wife found herself with the setting sun in her eyes. Fortunately there were dishes that saved a lot of things. My wife had duck breast, blackcurrant, pakchoï and Panisse fries while for my part I chose the Veuxhaules trout steak, vegetable tatin, ratatouille juice. Everything was excellent and sufficient. We then had the cheese platter which we did not regret at all. In conclusion we had an unfortunate experience with our aperitifs which spoiled our stopover a bit. For the rest everything was correct or very good and the quality/price ratio was excellent. In conclusion, if you go there, I advise you to have a glass of champagne as an aperitif (which most tables did).

04/06/2024: The hotel is clean, fairly easy to access and comfortable. A small negative point for the restaurant's cuisine because the criteria for the Caesar salad are not respected. I recommend the flank steak cooked as requested and really tasty. The terrace is quite pretty.

02/09/2024: Certainly, it is difficult to find a “pizza” today; what we expect from this simple dish and its culinary origins. Not so simple apparently. We move further and further away from what we hope for and we get closer to the dripping pie, ending up believing after so many years that this is what pizza tastes like. Here too, it is edible, at a fair price, even if the objective of the margin, perhaps too much, sacrifices the quality of certain ingredients. This brand makes pizzas like any other, ordinary ones, which are great when you're hungry. Also tested as a distributor in supermarket parking lots, like other brands established in the Troyes area. Local brand, that’s positive. It's good for the planet! but for the taste buds......further is better.

16/07/2024: Au vu des derniers avis nous étions incertains de vouloir aller dans cet établissement mais avant tout de même décider de le tenter. Et bien ce fut une belle surprise car effectivement le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment présent. Les assiettes sont énormes et vraiment bien garnis et la qualité est là. De plus il est possible de profiter des boissons au bar à côté tout en mangeant.

22/09/2024: Restaurant géré par un couple super sympa. Cuisine très bonne et originale, de l Entrée au dessert. Et pas chère. Nous y retournerons !

23/08/2024: Very good creperie. Impeccable, helpful and commercial service. Following a small error they offered to offer the aperitif themselves. Very delicious pancakes. Good value for money. Very pleasant terrace, I recommend the church side which is quieter. Clean toilets but only one for everyone is just right.

07/09/2024: Petit parking. Table non nettoyée et siège fendu. Le steak, cuisson non respectée et dur et vieille pomme de terre très sèche. Pratiquement rien mangé. Par contre la serveuse très agréable. En gros mauvaise qualité au niveau repas. Je n ai pas voulu prendre de dessert.

02/09/2024: Nous avons été mal reçus dès le départ. On nous a installé à une table qui ne nous convenait pas car sous la clim. Alors on en a changé mais ça n'a pas trop plu au serveur. Donc il nous place à une autre table et il arrive avec 2 ramequins de salade déjà saucés sans nous expliquer pourquoi. Alors apparemment c'était offert mais vu la gueule de la salade, on n'en a pas voulu. Et pour finir, on a gentiment demandé de nous apporter un peu de moutarde pour accompagner la viande mais elle n'est jamais arrivée.. !!! Nous vous déconseillons fortement cet endroit.

12/09/2024: Some bullshit! I ordered my 2 menus with 2 cookies, a macadamia nut and a raspberry cheesecake, I received the order with a cheesecake cookie and another cheesecake, if only they had just made a mistake but no, they only put half the cookie! I would like to be contacted very quickly, I am stopping by the restaurant tomorrow. To answer your answer, this is at least the 3rd time that there has been an error on the desserts and on the dishes when I order! I took a photo so if it's possible why lie, instead of wasting your time responding do your job properly.

14/09/2024: A really lovely pizzeria, full of chatty locals who make you feel welcome. Pizzas available in multiple sizes and delicious. Would recommend for a real rustic experience and an opportunity to meet friendly locals.

08/09/2024: Do not trust the exterior appearance of the building😉. Very well received, nice atmosphere, and excellent pizza, the dough was thin and very good.
