14/08/2026: Excellent bakery; looks modern with 'modern' food like pokebowls and smoothies, but also French classics (croissant, pain au chocolat, pastries, and filled baguettes) of excellent quality. A very good alternative for breakfast compared to those overpriced contemporary hotel breakfasts.

31/07/2026: I had a chicken and vegetable sandwich and a slice of apple and blackcurrant clafoutis for lunch. I think there was maybe 20 grams of chicken in the sandwich. As for the clafoutis, I didn't find any blackcurrants and only two tiny pieces of apple. Plus, the edges were dry, so the dessert wasn't fresh. The prices are exorbitant for such a basic meal. Two hours later, I was hungry again. I sat down on the terrace and noticed how dirty it was. The table legs were filthy. There were cobwebs everywhere. An employee arrived for his shift. He walked right past me without saying hello. He clearly didn't understand that it's the customers who pay his wages. In short, I'm done with Pat à Pain.

20/07/2026: The appetizer buffet was nothing special, mostly canned goods, but at least it was there. A few homemade items would have been welcome. The main course was also nothing special; simple and bland. The dessert of the day, however, was good! Service was average.

17/07/2026: Overall, good food and fast service. It's a shame to charge €7 for two mediocre scoops of ice cream...

01/03/2026: The ice rink is great for children. It's a shame when you're accompanying them. When you're waiting for your little ones, you can't step out for 5 minutes. Or you can, but you have to go back to the ticket booth...

11/08/2026: While passing through Troyes, I went to Domino's Pizza and was very disappointed. The dining area wasn't air-conditioned despite the heat, the wait was far too long, and on top of that, there was a mistake with my order. I also received a bottle of Coca-Cola without a cup. A truly disappointing experience, especially for a chain with this reputation. I don't recommend it and I won't be going back.

10/09/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Moldy entrance, infested with flies, dry deli meats, dried-out cheese, and all the glasses and covers were filthy beyond belief. I'm also including photos because it's shameful. I'm going to report it to the health department. Now I understand why I was always sick after leaving there. Nothing is clean or edible.

31/08/2026: Visited by chance last night. Yes, I was quite hungry and possibly slightly delirious but, the sweet and sour chicken was superb. Better than I have had in London, Hong Kong or Beijing. Excellent rice, just sticky enough. Nice staff. I’d certainly recommend.

02/05/2026: The management is completely inadequate to its ambitions, especially given the exorbitant bill that awaits you at the end of your stay. The very pleasant staff try to compensate for the management's unprofessionalism. It's a shame, such a fantastic location and workspace...what a waste!

25/05/2026: I stayed at the Campanile Troyes Est - Barberey and, unfortunately, the experience was quite frustrating overall. The main problem was that the hotel's air conditioning compressor was broken, meaning none of the air conditioning units were working. I was informed that the repair wouldn't be completed for at least a week, making the rooms extremely uncomfortable during the hot weather. Under normal circumstances, I would have simply changed hotels, but their cancellation policy essentially locks you out after the first 24 hours unless you opted for a more expensive cancellation option when booking. This detail, in my opinion, wasn't made clear enough at the time of booking. In addition to this, the room had several maintenance issues. The bathroom wall had visible cracks, and the toilet seat remained cracked for the entire first week before finally being replaced during the second week. Another drawback: there is no elevator. If you have heavy luggage, expect to have to carry it up and down stairs. I also had to pay for nights I ultimately didn't use, as I had to leave over the weekend with no possibility of changing or canceling the reservation. The staff were generally polite, but the overall condition of the property, the lack of maintenance, the absence of working air conditioning, and the very rigid booking policy made for a disappointing stay. The Wi-Fi was also very slow and frequently disconnected completely. I highly recommend checking the air conditioning status and carefully reading the cancellation policy before booking, especially during hot weather. 24/05/2026: Hotel was fine but the restaurant is best avoided, it's like a third-class canteen.

20/01/2026: Following our visit to your establishment, I feel compelled to share my opinion. First of all, the reception was more than shocking. The security guard looked my friends and me up and down before refusing entry to one of my male friends simply because he was wearing makeup. This behavior is discriminatory, inappropriate, and completely unacceptable in the Big 2026. Secondly, considering the price of the drinks, the serving sizes were unacceptable. In short, between the lack of respect, the discrimination, and the disappointing value for money, we will not be returning to this establishment and we will not recommend it. Have a good day.

20/12/2025: I'd like to know why a group of friends aged 22 to 26 are asked for ID, but minors are allowed in without any problems. Minors dressed provocatively—perhaps that's why they get in without any issues? 🤔

Well, this Tuesday morning, April 7th, no bread at 10:00 AM... neither well-baked, nor medium, nor white... come back at 11:00 AM! And get this, at 11:15 AM, still no bread... did the baker extend his weekend? I'd like your opinion. Hello Mr. Clément Genteur, this Wednesday morning, April 8th, at 8:45 AM, well... only 5 or 6 loaves in the medium category (but visually they could have been in the well-baked category), all white and nothing else!... 19/05/2026: I have absolutely no complaints. They ran out of beef with onions, but the waitress prepared some freshly made for me right then and there. I'll definitely be back; everything is excellent.

30/08/2026: Had the saddest meal of my life here. I ordered a croque monsieur and got a depressing ham and cheese sandwich made with Wonder bread...go anywhere else, I promise it has to be better than this!

30/08/2026: Both crepes were beyond horrible and inedible. The dough was generally bad and also not cooked properly. There is a reason it had a low rating. We made a mistake of not checking reviews earlier. Avoid at absolutely all cost!

12/06/2026: The snack bar was bland, the vol-au-vent was cold, sent back to the kitchen, and the chicken basquaise had no sauce. There were bits of frozen water in the pistachio ice cream. And the coffee was disgusting. The service was terrible. Avoid this place.
