21/05/2026: Where do I even begin with this hotel? The hotel's decor is okay; it's furnished in a medieval style, giving it a certain cozy, almost romantic feel. The lady at breakfast was friendly and satisfactorily fulfilled our requests. Upon arrival, we had access to a combination lock. Breakfast consists mainly of puff pastry and pretzels. If you want (and speak French), you can also order something from the counter; otherwise, there's fruit, yogurt, jam, and spreads. Unfortunately, I can't say such positive things about the hotel room itself. Sure, it's nicely furnished, and it definitely achieves the look of a medieval room, but the door was already heavy when we walked in, and we couldn't lock it because the cylinder lock was broken. We could only use a chain from the inside to secure the door. Secondly, the light in the bathroom didn't work, and another light above the sink didn't have a switch (or we couldn't find it). Also, the entire hotel room is tiled; you won't find a carpet here. The pictures show a fireplace, which isn't real, which isn't a big deal, but it didn't work either, nor did the heating. We managed to keep warm with blankets from a creaky wardrobe and an air conditioner on the wall set to 30 degrees Celsius. Finally, the cleanliness was a problem: cobwebs and dust were everywhere, including on the ceiling. The toilet was also dirty, with unidentifiable stains, and there were various stains in and around the bed and on the sofa. The table wasn't level and wobbled with every touch. The hotel itself is nicely located in the city center, and everything is easily accessible. Overall, it was okay for one night. We were a couple, but we won't be coming back.

17/05/2026: We ate there during our trip to Alsace, and the food was terrible. The pasta and quiche were awful. The staff wasn't very friendly either. I won't be back.

09/12/2025: I come to this inn regularly and I particularly enjoy it. The owners work together as a family, which is very pleasant. Everything is done to make you feel comfortable in this unique place; the service is quick and cheerful, and the owner makes a point of visiting the dining room to get our feedback. All these reasons led me to choose this place to celebrate my 60th birthday. Everything was perfectly organized, and the atmosphere was wonderful. 11/11/2025: A wonderful discovery! I'm so glad I ate at this beautiful restaurant with its fantastic setting. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and it's family-run—the dad in the kitchen, the mom and young son in the dining room, and they're all very welcoming. Absolutely fantastic! 10/05/2026: I ate there 15 days ago... a 25-minute wait, everything was cold. I asked them to microwave the Big Tasty for 20 seconds. The person replied, "That's normal, it's fresh produce, ma'am..." Lol, fresh doesn't mean cold. I was at the McDonald's in Mulhouse this week, what a difference! Everything was hot, and the tables and dining area were spotless, so it is possible.

26/05/2026: This place opened at 6am, which was really convenient. The food was fresh and tasted good, and the customer service was friendly as well. One thing that disappointed me was the takeaway coffee. I’m from the UK, and usually takeaway coffees come in a decent-sized cup with a secure lid. Here, the cup was very small and the lid didn’t close properly, which was inconvenient especially while driving. Overall, good experience for the food and service, but the coffee takeaway setup could definitely be improved.

24/04/2026: I don't understand why the cleaning is done on the glass directly above the food, and why the food isn't removed and replaced after cleaning. All the dirt falls back onto the food. I think you need to review this, otherwise I will adjust the dosage. Thank you for your understanding.

10/04/2026: We often go there as a family for breakfast and we've always been warmly welcomed. The waiters/waitresses are friendly and smiling, and all the dishes we've tried so far have been delicious. I highly recommend it!

It's a pleasure to find a place where quality and quantity are both present without breaking the bank. Special mention to the waitress who manages absolutely everything single-handedly, and always with a smile! 👏 You can tell she's courageous, dedicated, and truly committed to her work. Despite the busy schedule, she remains pleasant and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A simple, authentic restaurant where you feel comfortable and leave with a full stomach and a happy heart. I highly recommend it! We'll be back to eat here on our next visit to your beautiful region.
