17/08/2026: Much less friendly and welcoming than before! They're missing a chef de partie with some authority. After a certain hour, the pretzels are practically rock hard. I'm exaggerating a little! The bread selection is limited, and there's practically no choice anymore. I won't even get into the issue of smiles and other courtesies! I'll have to make a decision soon...

29/08/2026: The food was good and plentiful. I had the liver dumplings and Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce). However, the service was very disorganized: too many waiters, some rushed, some absent-minded... I learned that ice cream is eaten with a straw (yes, really!), a forgotten coffee, and so on... The menu is riddled with rules in red, which is quite off-putting: a table was unreserved after a 15-minute delay, and you're required to order a starter/main course or a main course/dessert... unheard of!

09/12/2025: I come to this inn regularly and I particularly enjoy it. The owners work together as a family, which is very pleasant. Everything is done to make you feel comfortable in this unique place; the service is quick and cheerful, and the owner makes a point of visiting the dining room to get our feedback. All these reasons led me to choose this place to celebrate my 60th birthday. Everything was perfectly organized, and the atmosphere was wonderful. 11/11/2025: A wonderful discovery! I'm so glad I ate at this beautiful restaurant with its fantastic setting. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and it's family-run—the dad in the kitchen, the mom and young son in the dining room, and they're all very welcoming. Absolutely fantastic! 14/09/2026: A really good chip shop, just the way we like them! Their specialty is chicken with a delicious cream sauce. A must-try! Be aware, though, that since it's a street-side snack bar, there's no seating or restrooms. There are a few parking spaces, but since it's close to the city center, they're often hard to find. My opinion has changed after the last two orders. The bread has shrunk in diameter; when you eat, it overflows, and it's also dry. The taste of the fries has changed. Even the pickles in the cold sandwiches have changed. The atmosphere has changed too. A shame, I was looking forward to the long descent, like my fried friend.

23/08/2026: This is a bakery near the Swiss border. It was the first bakery I visited after coming to France, and they were very kind to me even though I don't speak French. I recommend the croissants filled with Nutella or almond paste; they're all under 2 euros.

08/09/2026: I had a croissant, a pain au chocolat, and a coffee. It's very difficult to find places open in France on Sundays. They're only open until noon. I had breakfast; it was hearty, and the coffee was very good.

21/05/2026: Where do I even begin with this hotel? The hotel's decor is okay; it's furnished in a medieval style, giving it a certain cozy, almost romantic feel. The lady at breakfast was friendly and satisfactorily fulfilled our requests. Upon arrival, we had access to a combination lock. Breakfast consists mainly of puff pastry and pretzels. If you want (and speak French), you can also order something from the counter; otherwise, there's fruit, yogurt, jam, and spreads. Unfortunately, I can't say such positive things about the hotel room itself. Sure, it's nicely furnished, and it definitely achieves the look of a medieval room, but the door was already heavy when we walked in, and we couldn't lock it because the cylinder lock was broken. We could only use a chain from the inside to secure the door. Secondly, the light in the bathroom didn't work, and another light above the sink didn't have a switch (or we couldn't find it). Also, the entire hotel room is tiled; you won't find a carpet here. The pictures show a fireplace, which isn't real, which isn't a big deal, but it didn't work either, nor did the heating. We managed to keep warm with blankets from a creaky wardrobe and an air conditioner on the wall set to 30 degrees Celsius. Finally, the cleanliness was a problem: cobwebs and dust were everywhere, including on the ceiling. The toilet was also dirty, with unidentifiable stains, and there were various stains in and around the bed and on the sofa. The table wasn't level and wobbled with every touch. The hotel itself is nicely located in the city center, and everything is easily accessible. Overall, it was okay for one night. We were a couple, but we won't be coming back.

17/05/2026: We ate there during our trip to Alsace, and the food was terrible. The pasta and quiche were awful. The staff wasn't very friendly either. I won't be back.

28/08/2026: 11:45 am McDonald's is dirty, probably not cleaned since yesterday!!! 30 minutes for service 🤦‍♀️ and as usual, things were forgotten... this McDonald's is really getting worse and dirtier.

23/08/2026: Remember to book ahead. We received a warm welcome. The portions were generous. The calzone was excellent, the hamburger menu was hearty with delicious meat, and the small pizza with a choice of toppings had a very good, thin crust. The prices are reasonable, I recommend it. We'll be back.

19/08/2026: A rather unusual experience! A pleasant evening, but the organization was, to say the least, peculiar. A very energetic waitress, a lively atmosphere, and a pleasant terrace. For us, the service was fine, but several tables around us waited a very long time, some for over two hours, before finally leaving without being served. Some dishes on the menu weren't even available, the chef clearly being overwhelmed. We had two tarte flambées with Munster cheese, perfectly decent, and especially at unbeatable prices. A simple, unpretentious place with a slightly quirky vibe. You go there without high expectations, with good company, and you end up having a good time!

15/05/2026: A proper coffee house, Lavazza made well. Water brought with the espresso by a very good waitress. The camomile tea was good too.
