16/08/2026: We discovered this restaurant through videos on Facebook, and that alone made us want to go! So we took the plunge and, honestly… we'll be back! 😍 We ordered the "Menu Plaisir" (Pleasure Menu), which had a huge selection. It wasn't just one or two starters, main courses, or desserts: we had access to almost everything on the menu, drinks included! 🤩 The atmosphere was fantastic, the service friendly, and it was a wonderful discovery. We had a great time! We'll definitely be back!

16/08/2026: We came all the way from the Lille area just for this restaurant we'd seen on social media. And let me tell you, the experience lived up to its reputation! A true Northern French bistro: warm, old-fashioned decor, very friendly staff, and the owner even came to chat with the tables. You really feel welcome! And the food? Exceptional! The ingredients were clearly very fresh, and the recipes were perfectly executed. I had the Welsh rarebit, and even after it cooled down a bit, it didn't become rubbery. You can tell that every ingredient is carefully chosen (the ham was also top quality). We sat under a marquee outside, so we were able to enjoy our meal without being bothered by the wind or the blazing sun. The price was also exceptional, especially considering the quality. We opted for the "Pleasure" menu at €37, which included a starter, main course, dessert, and three drinks (an aperitif, cocktails included, white wine with the starter, and a drink with the main course), all of which were truly customizable (not limited to two courses). The service was never rushed; we didn't feel pressured to leave quickly. We were able to savor each course with a little break in between, which was also very pleasant! You can tell that this establishment prioritizes enjoyment, conviviality, and a passion for our local region. We would definitely drive back for another hour to return, the experience was so enjoyable. Thank you for this wonderful time!

25/08/2026: Nice decor, the terrace must be superb in summer. The building is truly beautiful. Warm welcome, attentive and helpful waiters. However, the food isn't quite as good as the setting. The steak tartare was bland, and I tasted my husband's fish—in that tiny 2 cm square, I found three bones. Perhaps I was just unlucky. But when you order a fish fillet in a restaurant, I expect it to be boneless. I thought my son's hamburger (from the children's menu) was good, but he didn't like it. I did, however, enjoy the fries and the mayonnaise, which seemed homemade, and the waitress (owner?) was very kind. If the food isn't a major part of the meal, it's a great spot to get out of the city.

22/08/2026: Superb place, very warm welcome. We ate well, table of 6. I'm giving it 4 stars because one person at the table was unfortunately ill the next day, but that can happen, especially as the person had a sensitive digestive system.

30/11/2025: First time and definitely not the last! At first, I'll admit I was surprised by the price compared to the competition, but it's more than justified! Both the service and the product quality are top-notch, nothing to complain about 😎

23/08/2026: We were lucky enough to try the Friday night couscous, a new addition to the menu. You're served with a smile and the staff is incredibly friendly. The dish arrives on your plate complete with chickpeas, chili, coriander, and raisins… and you can enjoy it all at a table reminiscent of an authentic French Flemish café. The icing on the cake is the genuine mint tea, made with fresh mint leaves, which makes it feel like a refreshing hot drink after the couscous. Don't forget to try the Picon-inspired Spritz (house recipe)… a truly delicious discovery! 😊 We were delighted with the rhubarb crumble for dessert, presented under a glass dome, a reminder that England isn't far away and that the devil is in the details, in the finesse of the presentation. In short, a place to go for an authentic and very pleasant meal.

08/09/2026: Burnt bread, the 15cm sizes are approximate, it's expensive, and if you order a second drink from the fountain, it's a disaster, even though the drink isn't great sometimes. Avoid it. Response: You're talking about a law for unlimited drinks? It's just a decree, and on top of that, it's supposed to fight obesity? That's a joke. You know French politicians, right? You put the machine in plain sight, without any protection (barcode like before), and let people take another one. It won't break the bank since it's the policy of Pepsi Unlimited, and other chains have decided to indirectly reinstate it quietly, without being official. A decree or a law can be slightly circumvented. You do it. Good for packaging, for on-site consumption which is prohibited even for other things, that's for sure, but when I come back, I'll order another drink like I already have. Put in some kind of digital protection, etc., or don't bother. Don't worry about the 15cm bread, I've already reported it, but some of your employees refused to change the bread, even causing a scene, which I find unacceptable. Other Subway locations use a special measuring tool to cut the bread to the correct length; it's strange that you don't. As for the burnt or overcooked bread, I'm not talking about it being heated in the oven, but the bread itself, especially the oat and parmesan bread.

26/07/2026: A truly charming Flemish pub! The decor is authentic: every object tells a story, evokes memories, or sparks curiosity. The terrace area is also very pleasant for enjoying a delicious meal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, thanks to both the attentive and friendly service and the chef, whose good humor shines through in every dish. The food is excellent, and the portions are very generous. I thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer platter to the honey ribs and Baileys Coffee. The prices are more than reasonable considering the quality and generous portions. I recommend this establishment without hesitation and will gladly return to explore the rest of the menu!
