03/04/2026: Cool bar playing only heavy metal and rock music. Feels more like hanging out in a friend's basement and I mean that in a good way. The owner was having a good time serving everyone. We felt like the only tourists among many locals but everyone was very friendly.

02/04/2026: A fantastic bar... warm welcome from the owner, good beers, very very good music, you couldn't ask for better to spend a friendly, smiling time with good, simple and authentic vibes.

07/03/2026: I came in specifically to buy four macarons, and I must say that overall they were good, but I was still expecting better, especially coming from Pierre Hermé, so perhaps my expectations were too high. Special mention goes to the nori seaweed macaron, which was my favorite along with the Infiniment Vanille.

Galeries Lafayette Strasbourg – Pierre Hermé Paris If someone asks where to find the very best macarons in Strasbourg, there's only one answer for me: Pierre Hermé at Galeries Lafayette (ground floor, right by the main entrance). The macarons are on a completely different level than anything else you'll find – even compared to very good places. The shell is paper-thin and crisp, yet perfectly delicate, and the filling is always incredibly creamy, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. My absolute personal favorite (and unbeatable in my opinion): Milk Chocolate & Passion Fruit. This combination of creamy, but not too sweet, milk chocolate with the fresh, slightly tart passion fruit note is simply brilliant. It tastes rich and refreshing at the same time – a little addictive moment every single time. The other varieties I tried were all excellent as well – but the Chocolat au Lait Passion remains the king for me. They're not cheap, but with this quality and perfection, they're absolutely worth every penny. In short: If you're in Strasbourg and you love macarons, come here. No question. Definitely the best macarons I've ever had!

28/02/2026: A magnificent setting; you're transported to Tunisia with its colorful tiled walls and cozy atmosphere. I tried the three-meat couscous: merguez sausage, chicken, and lamb. It was EXCELLENT! The couscous was fine and fragrant, the vegetables melted in your mouth, and the sauce had just the right touch of spice to add extra flavor. We couldn't leave without the traditional little mint tea served with a few almonds. To finish on a high note, a touch of orange blossom added a hint of the Orient. We'll be back to try their tagines and pastries next time... and experience that warm welcome again. A truly wonderful discovery! 😊

10/04/2026: First off, the crispy chicken bagel was tasty. It wasn't amazing, but it was something different. However... the server—a young Black woman—worked sooooooo slowly that just watching her made you want to help out so you could finally get your bagel. Then she forgot the turkey ham on one bagel and almost burned two others because she forgot to turn on the timer. If I owned a company, she wouldn't have made it past the trial shift. Awful. Furthermore, the "restaurant" was anything but inviting. It seemed very dirty. The tables outside hadn't been cleared, and I won't even mention the lack of washing up. If we hadn't been able to sit outside, I would have actually taken my bagel to go, as it was very cramped, stuffy, and completely uncomfortable inside. My conclusion: Yeah, the bagel was okay, the rest was rubbish.

24/04/2026: Right next to the Russian consulate, which we visit regularly, easy parking, and above all, a chance to enjoy a pleasant moment around well-set tables and avoid Strasbourg city center, which is a real nightmare to navigate.

20/04/2026: We were greeted by Lucille and her smile, then the excellent service was provided by Sahra, and the pear tart was delicious. I recommend this establishment.

17/04/2026: Lunch at noon, excellent food, very friendly, polite and smiling waiters. Definitely worth repeating.

15/04/2026: A truly Alsatian restaurant. Refined and very generous dishes. A wonderful welcome, attentive waiters (kudos to their memory, they remember all your orders for each guest without even writing them down). The service is quick, efficient, and above all, delivered with excellent humor. David is fantastic, very kind, and has a great sense of humor. We've only been gone two days and we already miss your restaurant. Truly perfect, a must-visit. We loved it so much that we went every night for a week.

26/04/2026: Incredibly friendly service. They also speak German here. The pretzel was fantastic, exactly to our taste. Fluffy inside, light, yet with a crispy exterior. The crumb cake was simple, not too sweet, and a bit too cinnamony for my taste, but that's not a criticism, it's just a matter of personal preference. Thank you!

20/04/2026: Hello, I went to buy some pretzels from you, but frankly, how can you call them that? They were dry, disgusting, and even the shape wasn't right. It's shameful, unprofessional, and I'm very disappointed, especially since I was going to eat them at work.

27/04/2026: Average quality pizzas, often overcooked with low-quality ingredients (cheap ham). I do not recommend them.

09/05/2026: Excellent value for money, the servers are friendly and the service is impeccable and quite fast 😉 The restaurant was quiet, not too crowded, which is also nice. I ordered the leek vinaigrette as a special; it was the first time I'd seen it presented that way. I thought there was too much green and it wasn't cooked enough; I'd order it more! But the main course was delicious, and the dessert was too. My husband had kidneys with Spätzle and he loved it 😋👍 We'll definitely be back 😉🥰

01/05/2026: We came thanks to the Gourmet Passport, and Le Dix was a wonderful discovery. The address is easy to find, right across from the train station. It has a small terrace, a veranda, and a large, pleasant dining room with a leather banquette. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. The meal was very good. Tender meat, flavorful sauce. There's a good selection and some interesting set menus. The only downside to this visit: the downstairs area could use a good refresh (missing grout, broken tiles, questionable stains...). Regardless, the state of the restrooms and hallways is a good indicator of the owner's commitment to the business. Thank you for your service.

28/02/2026: There were three of us, and we had booked well in advance for this experience in this historic setting. Upon arrival, we were seated at a table for two in a corner of the room. It was difficult to sit down. My son, who is 1.85 meters tall, had to eat at an angle. I find it unacceptable to spend over 200 euros for this kind of comfort, even if the food was very good.

27/02/2026: The sauerkraut with three types of fish is excellent and very generous. I highly recommend this dish. However, the staff's welcome and service were mediocre. There was no explanation of the different types of fish, and the dishes were simply placed on the table without any comment. The least they could have done was wish us a pleasant meal!

05/05/2026: We first learned about it through our travel guide and were looking forward to enjoying regional cuisine...in my opinion, a must-do when you're on vacation. So we booked a table for two the day before. When we arrived today, we were relegated to a tiny table in the back... mind you, we had reserved a table in advance... the restaurant was barely occupied when we arrived and when we left... there was an empty table for two at the front when we arrived and still was when we left... that already annoyed me... then the server (I think it was the owner) was more than unfriendly... The advertised ham with fried potatoes and gratinated Munster cheese looked very appealing... after we initially received one portion for two because he didn't listen properly to our order, we had to wait for the second portion... I wouldn't have made a big deal about that... but: the fried potatoes were soggy, so not freshly prepared but obviously reheated... but the worst part was, no onions or bacon bits, let alone any seasoning... as I'm a passionate cook myself, that was a real slap in the face... the ham was ice cold; a little warming would have been nicer... unfortunately, the highlight of this meal was the gratinated Munster cheese, and it just... A great aroma without any effort... Conclusion: unfortunately, after a disappointing evening, I cannot agree with the advance praise... I wouldn't visit it again...

24/04/2026: The welcome was pleasant, but the sandwich wasn't anything special. Perhaps it's a matter of taste, but I thought it was cooked köfte.

08/03/2026: Unfortunately, I don't recommend it. The wraps are dry and tasteless, the dough is raw inside (served cold, they're simply inedible). Plus, the price is quite high...
