07/12/2025: We chose to eat at this restaurant as we were so hungry and this was the nearest. There were not a lot of options on the menu so we settled for pizza and carbonara. I haven't been to Italy but I've already eaten at different Italian restaurants to know how bad the pizza and the pasta were at this place. We regretted eating here. Everything was tasteless and looked unappetizing. Please avoid this restaurant.

01/02/2026: I tried a second time, and was disappointed again! Microwaved roast potatoes, poor quality ham, and outrageous prices! For me, Coucou des Bois is FINISHED!!!

18/11/2025: Superb performance by Jim Kahr, an exceptional bluesman! I can't say the same for the abominable food served that evening. A disaster sold at exorbitant prices. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I can't believe a real chef served us this horrible concoction, but the prices were exorbitant, and the owner waited for you and forced you to pay before the end of the evening. I've never seen anything like it! Avoid at all costs, and never mind the music!

18/01/2026: The service and atmosphere of the restaurant were impeccable, no complaints there. It's an "Asian fusion" restaurant, so if you order an Asian dish, don't expect the same flavors. Even though they're reimagined versions, the beef loc lac was nothing like beef loc lac. As for the pho, the broth was quite good (a bit too sweet, though), but there were far too many onions and pieces of ginger in it (even though ginger should normally be removed when the broth is strained). I also don't understand the point of putting whole spring onions in; nobody puts that in pho. There weren't enough noodles either. However, the dumplings (very reimagined) were good but too big and difficult to eat. I won't be back for the Asian food, but I imagine the French cuisine they serve must be better. It's still a decent restaurant.

31/01/2026: The meal was fantastic...the place was exceptional, not to mention Benjamin who gave us a very warm welcome. He also explained the history of the restaurant to us. The dishes were excellent. We came three times in a row and we have no regrets...thank you Benjamin, we look forward to returning.

30/01/2026: Very satisfied with this restaurant! Delicious and very affordable dishes, and a very welcoming staff who gave us historical explanations about the place with Benjamin – we loved it! I highly recommend it!!!

10/01/2026: Parfait Restaurant in Robertsau. Number 1. The owner always makes sure his customers are satisfied. He makes a point of being there himself. Perfect. However, like in society, there are always people who think humans are robots. Well done, Mr. Ennesser.

10/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant on Monday and Wednesday, and each time we received a warm welcome. Every dish was delicious, served in generous portions, and the service was quick and reasonably priced. The fries were very good, and the black pudding and vol-au-vent were excellent. The daily specials at €13.50 were tasty and plentiful. The waitress was very friendly and smiling. Everything was perfect.

08/12/2025: A very good restaurant, with pleasant and cheerful service. Their sauerkraut and ham hock are delicious. A slightly long wait between courses.

14/12/2024: I took a royal couscous to take away for 6 people, what a great success, both in terms of the organization of the transport of the dishes and their taste quality. Thanks to the cook ;) and the lovely welcome from Anne Marie.

06/12/2024: Address to escape! Couscous Lamb ordered to take away: - meat recooked completely dry - aftertaste in vegetables - the whole thing is not fresh - for 18 euros it is unacceptable

14/01/2026: My favorite Lebanese restaurant in the area. Tasty and fresh dishes, generous portions, and excellent value for money (€10–20). The vegetarian options are great: I had the vegetarian platter with four falafels, hummus, and a salad—delicious. Pleasant atmosphere and fast service. I highly recommend it!
