13/01/2026: Disappointing and far from authentic Having spent a lot of time in Spanish tapas bars in Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg and Germany, my visit to Tapas Café Strasbourg was a real let-down. The sangria tasted industrial, closer to boxed wine than something freshly prepared. As for the chipirones, they did not taste fresh at all — the texture and flavor strongly suggested canned or pre-packed seafood, not something cooked à la minute. This is simply unacceptable for a place presenting itself as a tapas bar. Overall, the food lacked freshness, authenticity and craftsmanship. What you get feels generic and mass-produced rather than rooted in Spanish culinary tradition. Service was fine, but that alone cannot compensate for the weak quality of the food. Atmosphere may work for a quick drink, but if you’re looking for real tapas, this isn’t it.

02/03/2026: I ordered here while in Strasbourg. Personnel don’t speak English but we managed to understand each other and food was tasty. Overall a good experience.

29/01/2026: Hello, Today (January 28, 2026 at 12:48 PM) I was putting my things down to sit down and then order some waffles. Before I could do anything, the woman with long red hair started speaking rudely to me, saying I couldn't sit down if I didn't order, which makes sense, but I didn't even have time to sit down or go to the register and order. She is extremely rude and unhappy in her job. I advise you to look for employees with more respect and motivation. I am also a student, I do pretty much the same job, and I never disrespect customers, even if I haven't had a good day.

16/12/2025: A small, unassuming restaurant that's a real treat inside. The friendly, smiling waitress runs the show, and the chef prepares delicious daily specials. A perfect spot for weekday lunches. A starter and main course for €13.50 – highly recommended!

27/11/2025: Awful. Salmon as the daily special. I sent back the first plate because the fish was raw and cold (?!?). The second plate was exactly the same. Raw salmon inside. Is this a joke? The waitress apologized, but it didn't change my opinion of this establishment. Avoid at all costs!!!

02/02/2026: Before, we served ourselves without having to deal with cold, impersonal employees. Now, I had a disrespectful woman who served me while chatting with her colleague, so I ended up talking to myself three or four times and repeating the same thing ten times. I asked for chicken, she gave me one piece, I asked again, she gave me a hateful look and gave me another piece... Please respect your customers, of which I will no longer be a customer. A smile is nice too; don't work only for money. Humanity is also a virtue.

03/07/2025: A terrace that's a victim of its own success and its location in the heart of the tourist city. Always full (a testament to its quality), you don't have to wait long for a table to become available. The drinks menu is varied, and the appetizer platter is just right in terms of quantity but superior in terms of quality. A great place to stop for a break during your city tour.

24/07/2025: Hello, I wanted to share my experience with my Uber Eats order. I usually go to this restaurant, which is quite good and friendly, but my Uber Eats order left me speechless. I ordered two Tasty Crispy meals, and while the taste was delicious, the portion size was ridiculous. There was an enormous amount of rice and very little chicken and sauce. For a €15 container, I find that outrageous. I will never return to this restaurant and I will never order from Uber Eats again.
